Placed a pick up order.. Muffuletta was awesome! Unfortunately, the California Club was not.. the ingredients on the club were not fresh (they looked like they’d been sitting out all day). There was so much mushy avocado and mayo.. I thought there was really bad chicken/ham salad on my sandwich.. Eww! So, we spent $32 for 2 sandwiches.. it could’ve been better!
I've always been a fan of Jason's but I just stood in a long line to pay $16 for a reuben sandwich. I've always ordered Reubens there but I'm guessing they are cutting corners because the normally delicious meat had no flavor at all also there was a large amount of fat on the edges and it was full of gristle, so much that I had to hold the sandwich with one hand and hold the meat in the bread with the other hand while I sawed at the meat with my teeth. We were excited to find a Jasons Deli near Memphis, being long time fans from our years of eating there in Texas. However, the prices were about 33% higher than our last visit, and the salad bar only allowed one trip. There was no service per se, but a tip was hard to avoid at the register.
