“This is a staple for us when it comes to business lunches. The service and food are always incredible. The food is always so fresh and the menu changes per season, which is awesome. Highly recommend! Great for business and romantic meals alike.Dietary restrictions: They ask if you have any every time.“
“Delicious food! I never write reviews, but will for this place. Located in an old fast food building. You would never think it was the hidden gem it is!Vegetarian options: Plenty of great choices for vegetarians, vegans and everyone else. I am not a vegetarian, but the friends I was with are vegan and they had plenty of choices. I had the jerk chicken and rice. Falling off the bone and delicious!Parking: Located a couple of minutes South of Graceland in a less dense part of Memphis. Plenty of free parking.“
“This is one of my Monday lunch spots that goes in and out of my rotation. It will fade off my radar and then I will remember to get by here and I'll go a couple of times a month for a while. They serve a rotating menu based on the day of the week. I have been on other days, but I like the side choices best on Mondays. My go to is usually Smothered Pork Chops. My sides vary a bit, but I regularly get Northern Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Cream Corn. There seems to be a sweetness to everything I've eaten. Sometimes it can be a bit much and will sometimes spur my hiatus. Everyone is so friendly here. I've never encountered a single employee that wasn't cheerful and efficient. In all honestly, it's better than most places I go, anywhere in Memphis. It's cafeteria style, so you walk down the line and choose what you want. You can tell how fresh it is before you choose and I dig that. Dining room is good. Watch your step, platforms in and out of the booths. Someone will come get your plate and trash. They are always there to make sure you enjoy your food. I'll be back for sure.“
“Divine Delight: A Heavenly BBQ Bologna SandwichIn a world where culinary experiences often leave one seeking something more, I stumbled upon a revelation at hernado's hideaway diner – the BBQ Bologna Sandwich with Cheese. This humble creation transcends the ordinary, offering a taste that borders on the divine. From the first bite, I was transported to a realm where smoky barbecue flavors mingle with the comforting richness of bologna and the creaminess of cheese. Each element harmonized seamlessly, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. But what truly sets this sandwich apart is its subtle, yet unmistakable, religious undertone. As I savored each mouthful, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude, as if the hands that crafted this masterpiece were guided by a higher power. It's as if every ingredient was blessed with a touch of celestial magic. The bologna, sliced just right, embodies the essence of redemption – taking a humble meat and elevating it to a celestial status. The cheese, melted to perfection, serves as a reminder of the comforting embrace of faith, enveloping the sandwich in a warm embrace. And let us not forget the barbecue sauce, a divine elixir that imbues the sandwich with a righteous tang, leaving a lingering sense of fulfillment long after the last bite.In a world filled with culinary chaos, the BBQ Bologna Sandwich with Cheese offers a sanctuary of flavor, a testament to the power of simplicity and faith. It's more than just a meal; it's a spiritual experience that nourishes both body and soul.“
“Delicious meal in an upscale setting (inside). Salmon was prepared terrific with a light glaze and decent portion. The table enjoyed an assortment of appetizers which everyone enjoyed the baked brie as well as the tuna tartar. Solid wine selection and good desserts which the table thought the key lime pie was best. Attentive service. A good place to entertain clients, family or have a romantic dinner.“
“Had an amazing brunch. Arrived around 10:30ish am and had a 15 minute wait. Our server was very attentive and the food was great and didn't take long to come out. The freshly squeezed orange was my favorite!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian scramble“
“Windy City Grill exceeded all expectations. From the elegant ambiance to the exquisite flavors of every dish, every moment was a delight. The staff's attention to detail and impeccable service made our dining experience truly exceptional.“
“My husband and I aren't fans of buffets under normal circumstances but we were given free breakfast by the hotel so we figured, why not? We came down for Saturday breakfast buffet and scored a very nice booth right across from the buffet area. Our friendly waitress immediately brought coffee and juice and checked on us throughout the meal and removed the plates, etc. She was a sweetheart. She even brought me a mug to include in my instagram pic that said "Guest House at Graceland" while I was taking pics of my guitar waffles, lol. The choices are great - they had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy all warm in the warming station. They also had a waffle bar and omelette bar you could order made fresh for you. My husband had a HUGE omelette and enjoyed it. The waffle was good and had a guitar in the center. They had a side bar with fresh fruits, yogurt, parfait and cereal and milk. The food was very good, warm, fresh and constantly being refilled. Inside seating is nice, tabletop was nice, and the decor is nice. It was very clean. We actually really enjoyed the meal and commented it was way above expectations.“
“A hidden gem for great tasting food. This was an order and take home meal for us. The hush puppies were gone before we made it to the driveway. I had a vegetable plate. I absolutely loved the flavor of the asparagus. My husband had the carribean jerk chicken Alfredo. It is wonderful if you Lome some "heat" in your life. He also got carribean jerk wings for lunch.“
“I can't believe how good the boneless wings are. I mean, they are so tinder, crunchy, fresh, and delicious. It's like eating bites of heaven. I don't know how they do it, but out of all the boneless wings in Memphis, they are definitely number 1!I'm not getting wings from any other place if it's not American Deli it's nothing, period. They are so good. I want to try other things on the menu, but I'm addicted ?“
“The wings were really good, especially for the price! They were really big compared to wings I've had elsewhere, and both sauces I tried were really good (teriyaki and garlic parm). I feel like there was a good amount of sauce, it is just a little thin so doesn't stick to the wing as well as thicker sauce, but there was extra in the bottom to re dip and the flavor definitely compensates. I'd definitely go again ?“
