“I love this restaurant other than game weekends when the menu is limited. They also remove items from the menu that are popular like the berry cobbler, fish tacos, Magnolia pecan beer (MS), etc. It's disappointing when you have your mouth set for something, and they no longer serve it.”

BUT….Word of caution on the Caesar side salad….We decided to share a Caesar side salad to add more “fresh” to the meal. Unless you like loads of super think Caesar 🥗 dressing mixed into your salad, order with the dressing on
the side!

They still get 5 stars on the situation because our server happily replaced the salad with dressing on the side. I don’t like to complain and I guess I should have ordered it on the side to begin with. Usually Caesar is tossed, so I went with it. My advice is to ask for dressing on the side if you don’t want it swimming in dressing. Maybe asking for less on it would work? Don’t know, didn’t want to risk it.

“I am a foodie, a championship BBQ pit master, and a hell of a cook. I was crushed with my diagnosis of type 2, what it meant for my health, and especially what it meant for my food desires. I found POTA on TicTok and decided to give them a shot but I had very low expectations as every almond flour baked good I had tasted until this point didn't cut it got me. I received the cinnamon roll pound cake that I ordered today and WOW!! So moist! I honestly say it's 90% the taste and texture you would expect from a standard pound cake. Honestly more moist than 95% of the pound cakes I've eaten. I also check my glucose before and multiple checks after a generous slice and I had zero movement in glucose from this cake. Highly highly recommend!!”

Recommend checking it out when the weather is nice, was cozy and could hear the birds and wildlife behind the fences. Truly a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Starkville.”

“My son and I came in after a game last night. It was 20 minutes before closing. Their computer system was down but they said I could order online. I downloaded the app and placed the order but the app chose next day pickup for the order. At this point, it’s 10 minutes until closing and they don’t have my order that I already paid for. A woman who I suspect was the manager but was off duty heard the frustration. She got behind the counter and made our meals for us. Their technology sucks but the manager (I’m assuming) was fantastic.”

“We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.”

“Best Cook Out I’ve been to! I ate here three days in a row, including twice late at night, and every meal was fresh and scorching hot. On my third visit I had a huge order, and it came out surprisingly fast while still being hot and delicious. The staff was also very friendly and provided great service. “We have been having our Starkville High School class of 77 and 78 social alumnae gatherings here the 3rd Friday of the month recently ! I can say enough about how delicious the pasta and the tacos are. We usually have 7-12 people in our group and the servers are very attentive and they are quick to fill your glass . I highly recommend Rosey Baby as it has been in Starkville for maybe 30 years or so ! Go there to eat and you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could !”
