“Im so disappointed in the food at Harvey's. The last several visits there has been something wrong. Today with their lunch menu they were out of broccoli by 12:45 and substituted asparagus which was fine but it was burnt to a crisp! I don't know what's changed but the food just isn't up to par and makes you not want to come back.”

“Been going regularly for a couple months now, and i can say they have the best coffee in town as well as the best staff. Always the kindest people and ive yet to see a rude or impatient staff member even when they are slammed you can tell they love where they work! The selection of coffees and smoothies even the frozen lemonade is wonderful your not gonna find better coffee in starkville. Today i got the sweetest have a great day written on my coffee and it was a ruff morning for me already so its the little things that make you feel happy to spend your money somewhere.”

“I am a foodie, a championship BBQ pit master, and a hell of a cook. I was crushed with my diagnosis of type 2, what it meant for my health, and especially what it meant for my food desires. I found POTA on TicTok and decided to give them a shot but I had very low expectations as every almond flour baked good I had tasted until this point didn't cut it got me. I received the cinnamon roll pound cake that I ordered today and WOW!! So moist! I honestly say it's 90% the taste and texture you would expect from a standard pound cake. Honestly more moist than 95% of the pound cakes I've eaten. I also check my glucose before and multiple checks after a generous slice and I had zero movement in glucose from this cake. Highly highly recommend!!”

“We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.”

“Service was fast, friendly, and accurate. The partner that took my order was apparently finishing their shift and took my order just before clocking out. The rest of the team was occupied and when many people would have just clocked out and gone home they helped the team and took my order. Then clocked out and went home. I appreciated them doing this as I still had an eight hour drive ahead of me. Thank you.”

“We have been having our Starkville High School class of 77 and 78 social alumnae gatherings here the 3rd Friday of the month recently ! I can say enough about how delicious the pasta and the tacos are. We usually have 7-12 people in our group and the servers are very attentive and they are quick to fill your glass . I highly recommend Rosey Baby as it has been in Starkville for maybe 30 years or so ! Go there to eat and you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could !”
