“I had the shrimp po'boy and the crispiest sweet potato fries for lunch last week. The shrimp were huge and perfectly fried. The remoulade sauce was tangy but not too spicy. The waffle sweet potato fries were the best part of the meal!! LOVED THEM!! The service was great and the food came out quickly.”

“Super nice servers. We came at a not so busy time and got the chicken nachos as an appetizer, the queso burger, half Philly cheese steak, and cheese fries. It was good. We love all sorts of nachos and these were ok - wife didn't like. I like the kind of chips, it was a little lacking in the way the cheese and chicken was applied. I like how they cook their fries in truffle oil also. Of course, tallow would be awesome, but at least it's not cheap vegetable/seed oil. It's a good burger that could use more patty. I'd come back to try again. Perfect for students and folks looking for a unique blend of comfort foods!”

You better have a BIG appetite with you if you order the Cafe Burger. It’s a whopping 10 ounces of deliciousness! We can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast and plate lunches😋”

“We were in Starkvegas with our rising high school Senior to tour MSU. We knew we wanted to check out the Cotton District for lunch. When we got out of the car, we followed our noses toward Two Brothers’ smoker. Our noses did NOT disappoint. White sauce chicken sandwich and homemade potato salad were DELISH! Our daughter had smoked wings, and they were phenomenal! Serving staff was very helpful with making recommendations, and making us feel at home!! I have a feeling (after our on and off-campus experience) that we’ll be visiting Two Brothers many, many more times!! Oh…AND we watched them deliver a water bowl to a pup who was visiting with its family! That was icing on the cake because we LOVE a dog-friendly establishment.”

“We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.”

“If you are looking for an excellent fried chicken place of the at least five or six we have in Starkville, this is the best. I was skeptical at first as I had been food poisoned by a different Zaxbys in the past. But this one blew me away. Have always ordered the Big Zax Snack and it never disappoints. Sprite is always fizzy and sweet, is never out at the drink machine, overall a great place. Garlic bread is perfect every time, the seasoning on the fries reminds me of some good memories, and the chicken is ALWAYS juicy. Couldn't ask for a better place to go grab something for the road or for movie time at the house. Staff is willing to converse and is always polite and friendly. 10 stars.”

“Mi Hacienda is the absolute BEST Mexican restaurant in Starkville!!! We’ve tried them all. We also like La Terraza, too….but Mi Hacienda is our favorite! We love Mi Hacienda’s thin, hot tortilla chips, and delicious salsa!! The chicken and shredded beef entrees are my favorites. The atmosphere is very inviting as well!!”
