“The management and staff at The Grill went above and beyond in assisting my family and me with the Celebration of Life luncheon for my grandmother. From the initial planning stages to accommodating a last-minute time adjustment due to the funeral ending earlier than expected, their professionalism and care were evident throughout. They even provided support with the technology for her memorial video, which meant so much to us. The service was truly five-star, and the food was exceptional. Thank you to the management team and the wait staff for your outstanding service and kindness. You are truly a class act.”

“We went twice while visiting Starkville, and the line was out the door both times. However, it moved quick, like a well-oiled machine. I don't think we ever waited more than 5 minutes from order to food. We noticed the drive-through also moved quickly. We tried the scones, the overnight oatmeal, the sausage bagel (highly recommended on the asiago), and the acai bowl. Everything was delicious. We also tried the smoothies and enjoyed them! The barisatas were all very friendly and helpful. The homemade (GF) granola on the acai bowl was so good, we ended up taking a bag home. The only suggested improvement would be to the coffee. While the flavor was good, it was a bit more watered down than preferred, we were looking for a little bolder flavor. Overall, great experience and we would definitely visit again the next time we're in Starkville!”

“I just moved here from Louisiana and I’ve been missing Thai food since we didn’t have any in our town. This place did not disappoint! Great service and delicious food! I recommend the crab wontons, dumplings, Tom Kar soup, and green curry. I will definitely be returning soon!”

“Went today and was surprised again how fantastic they were. Food was amazing- as always. Service was top notch and speedy. Brought our dog and sat in the covered back patio, which was a first! Recommend checking it out when the weather is nice, was cozy and could hear the birds and wildlife behind the fences. Truly a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Starkville.”

“Love the feel of the diners of old in this place. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We actually feel like our waitress and the restaurant manager are now our friends. You better have a BIG appetite with you if you order the Cafe Burger. It’s a whopping 10 ounces of deliciousness! We can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast and plate lunches😋”

“Probably the best restaurant in Starkville. I’ve dined here a couple of times and everything my party and I have ordered was outstanding and perfectly executed.

The gorganzola chips, caesar salad, mufuletta, burger, croque monsieur, and fries were all delicious. On our second visit we tried some riskier dishes that were just as successful: the bone marrow, lobster ravioli, and the pork chop. I was impressed that the pork chop wasn’t overcooked.. it was cooked through but still juicy.

The service is attentive and the ambience is good. I was impressed to see the service team collaborating and working well together. The music isn’t too loud and you can have a conversation without shouting. I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for something elevated but still accessible”

“Fried Catfish and pulled pork were the best in town when I ate there in college in 80s and 90s and remain the best that I have ever had. Good memories of the staff cooking the food and eating at picnic tables with friends.”

“Super nice servers. We came at a not so busy time and got the chicken nachos as an appetizer, the queso burger, half Philly cheese steak, and cheese fries. It was good. We love all sorts of nachos and these were ok - wife didn't like. I like the kind of chips, it was a little lacking in the way the cheese and chicken was applied. I like how they cook their fries in truffle oil also. Of course, tallow would be awesome, but at least it's not cheap vegetable/seed oil. It's a good burger that could use more patty. I'd come back to try again. Perfect for students and folks looking for a unique blend of comfort foods!”

“We were in Starkvegas with our rising high school Senior to tour MSU. We knew we wanted to check out the Cotton District for lunch. When we got out of the car, we followed our noses toward Two Brothers’ smoker. Our noses did NOT disappoint. White sauce chicken sandwich and homemade potato salad were DELISH! Our daughter had smoked wings, and they were phenomenal! Serving staff was very helpful with making recommendations, and making us feel at home!! I have a feeling (after our on and off-campus experience) that we’ll be visiting Two Brothers many, many more times!! Oh…AND we watched them deliver a water bowl to a pup who was visiting with its family! That was icing on the cake because we LOVE a dog-friendly establishment.”

I can’t begin to say enough about how welcomed we were and how the time was made to answer all our questions. We met a gentleman on his way out holding an absolutely exquisite loaf of braided bread. “We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.”

“Being from Oxford, Mississippi, and the home of Ole Miss. I am pretty biased when it comes to going to starkVegas. But I had to go to the Mississippi State veterinarian school and have one of my dogs operated on and they were freaking superb. While I was there, I thought I need some of God‘s chicken make me feel better and it is also was fun because the puppy after surgery loved the ice cream. And guess what their ice cream machine works unlike McDonald’s.”
