“Food 10/10. I had the steak medium well it was cooked perfectly, juicy, and tender, season two perfection. Even the macaroni was seasoned perfectly. The sweet potato mash was a 10 out of 10 I also had a cup of the duck and sausage gumbo. Run! Do not walk run!Grab a bowl do not be like me and get that small cup as a tease because it was absolutely delicious! And I also got it with a side of potato salad out of curiosity, and it was absolutely amazing! The drinks, the atmosphere the outdoor and the musician were everything that night. Definitely a vibe, and I am literally sitting in a parking lot, ordering the exact same thing as I ordered last weekend.”

“Been going regularly for a couple months now, and i can say they have the best coffee in town as well as the best staff. Always the kindest people and ive yet to see a rude or impatient staff member even when they are slammed you can tell they love where they work! The selection of coffees and smoothies even the frozen lemonade is wonderful your not gonna find better coffee in starkville. Today i got the sweetest have a great day written on my coffee and it was a ruff morning for me already so its the little things that make you feel happy to spend your money somewhere.”

“Had some glitches with ordering online but spoke to them both on the phone and through email. The company is working through hiccups with sudden growth but were quick to remedy situation. Bakery items are delicious and would not suspect gluten free. Overall pleased with company and products.”

“Probably the best restaurant in Starkville. I’ve dined here a couple of times and everything my party and I have ordered was outstanding and perfectly executed.

The gorganzola chips, caesar salad, mufuletta, burger, croque monsieur, and fries were all delicious. On our second visit we tried some riskier dishes that were just as successful: the bone marrow, lobster ravioli, and the pork chop. I was impressed that the pork chop wasn’t overcooked.. it was cooked through but still juicy.

The service is attentive and the ambience is good. I was impressed to see the service team collaborating and working well together. The music isn’t too loud and you can have a conversation without shouting. I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for something elevated but still accessible”

“Super nice servers. We came at a not so busy time and got the chicken nachos as an appetizer, the queso burger, half Philly cheese steak, and cheese fries. It was good. We love all sorts of nachos and these were ok - wife didn't like. I like the kind of chips, it was a little lacking in the way the cheese and chicken was applied. I like how they cook their fries in truffle oil also. Of course, tallow would be awesome, but at least it's not cheap vegetable/seed oil. It's a good burger that could use more patty. I'd come back to try again. Perfect for students and folks looking for a unique blend of comfort foods!”

I can’t begin to say enough about how welcomed we were and how the time was made to answer all our questions. We met a gentleman on his way out holding an absolutely exquisite loaf of braided bread. “We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.”

“We have been having our Starkville High School class of 77 and 78 social alumnae gatherings here the 3rd Friday of the month recently ! I can say enough about how delicious the pasta and the tacos are. We usually have 7-12 people in our group and the servers are very attentive and they are quick to fill your glass . I highly recommend Rosey Baby as it has been in Starkville for maybe 30 years or so ! Go there to eat and you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could !”
