Staff not very knowledgeable. Room came with breakfast didn’t get it. I’m a silver member which means a get half off breakfast did not honor. Staff was talking to other people when I was checking in. The place was empty on a Friday night that should tell you this place needs help. DisappointedNearby activities: MSU

The staff seemed friendly and attentive, that’s the only nice thing about this place. At first glance the room is nice but after being in it for 5 minutes I realized it hadn’t been cleaned before our stay. There’s debris all over the bathroom floor, the carpet in the room also hadn’t been vacuumed. The toilet paper holder and the shower faucet handle are dangling on for dear life. We will not stay here again because I feel gross just being in this room.

I was going to say this place needs some major updates with the rust in the bathtub, the angled toilet holder, the non-powering USB power ports, the non-lighting desk light, and the non-continuously cold refrigerator (I had to keep pressing the 2-hr cool button inside the fridge); but I heard through the grapevine that a major upgrade is coming so minor repairs are on hold. The WiFi in this room had a weak connection with slow speeds. That still doesn't excuse the room's 3/5 cleanliness scale, the poorly presented bathroom, AND the two hair conditioner bottles in the bathtub. Didn't bother asking for a shampoo bottle. My hair was soft all week though. The lobby has many areas to relax and watch a screen. The fitness center is spacious. If you skip the check-in desk because there is no parking, and head straight to the garage, the hotel is on level 2.The location is great with a few restaurants a minute away. Basically, everything else is not too far away. The staff I met seemed like they were just there to earn a paycheck.Maybe try another place until the reno is done.

Rooms were beautiful. But, they don't even dump the garbage daily unless you request services for the room EVERY DAY of your stay We requested the room to be serviced daily for garbage and towels during our 5 day stay and were told we'd have to request it daily to get it.When we checked in, the soap dish on the bathroom sink had soap scum in it and the hand towels looked used. Several complementary toiletries were missing. Seemed feasible that someone checked in, switched rooms, and the initial room wasn't properly restored.I went down to the front desk rather than call because I knew they were busy, explained what happened and was simply asked if I wanted towels. I asked if we could get a clean soap dish too. He said he couldnt get one but would leave a note for housekeeping to service the room the next day. No apology...acted like the poor condition of our room was somehow normal. The next day housekeeping gave us some towels and toiletries and cleaned the soap dish. But didn't replenish coffee or dump garbage.I do want to say the housekeeping staff was REALLY N8CE AND HELPFUL. We ran into them in the hall a few times and asked for clean towels and coffee and they were super-responsive and accommodating. I think the problem is more so the instruction they're givenPool and hot tub were great. But no towels the first night after a 13.5 hr drive. Sign outside says the hot tub is open until 11pm. But, we were chased out at 1020pm like we knew we shouldnt be there and told it closes at 10pm. ??‍♀️There's also a BIZARRE gap between the bottom of the hall door and the floor...unnerving large. It would take no effort whatsoever to look into the room. We blocked it with towels during our stay.Oh. And last but not least...we added a day to our stay and rather than charge the same (or close) to the approx 120/night we paid for the first four nights...they charged $225 for the added night...which I didn't see until I reviewed the e-mailed invoice after checkout.Corporate said the hotel would call me about the charge. But of course, no one ever did and I've been chasing it for almost a month

I’ve been staying at this hotel since it opened. I really like the location and the staff is always welcoming. I do feel it’s time to start a renovation on the rooms. This facility gets some traffic and you can see things are wearing out and need to be updated.Nearby activities: Lots of great night spots not to far from the hotel.Food & drinks: The Bistro is great and the staff is excellent.

Pros:1. Spacious room with modern furniture.2. Overall clean.Cons:1. Leftover from previous occupant left in the fridge when I moved in.2. Housekeeping missed requests two days in a row, even though the front desk staff promised on the second request, leaving the room without service for the whole stay.3. Door lock is crooked. It takes several tries to unlock and lock it every time. It was frustrating for the first few days until I learned the trick of it.4. Wall is thin, you can hear neighbors doing it at night.Summary:To future customers, I would suggest at least try other hotels first. To hotel, I would suggest make your housekeeping process standard, straightforward and transparent.

Very close to campus, and we use it often when we travel here. Book in advance if a game or event so you won't have to drive too far for not planning far enough out...ask me how I know! :)

This was our second stay. The service this time was so much better than our stay in July 2022. Limited hours for the Bistro and no coffe available outside those hours was inconvenient. I ended up walking to a nearby cafe our first morning because I was awake an hour before the cafe opened. The carpet in the hallways is quite dirty. May just be because it's light gray, but there were stains everywhere. On the good side, the room was spotless and everything worked well. Additionally, free use of the parking garage is a big plus. Can't beat location if you are visiting State.

Outside of location, nothing special about the hotel. Put off by large family gathering down the hall that was loud as the group spilled out into the hallway. Odd. Also found a bottle of alcohol tucked under one of the beds. Just lends itself to housekeeping going through the motions. Other than that the hotel was adequate.
