Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Chicken was dry. Pork was flavorless. Some of the food was hot and “fresh” but most of it was luke warm. Even my kid didn’t like it, and he likes everything. I understand why the restaurant was so empty. Owner was a d**k when we asked about the cold food

I've been coming to the China Bistro (formerly China Buffet) for years. The owner and his family are always friendly and they're nice to converse with. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. They have a lunch buffet and a dinner buffet, and both are excellent. You can't go wrong with selecting China Bistro

Food is great! The people working are very friendly. Place is clean and has a nice environment. They have a good buffet.

This place deserves no stars the food has always been nasty and so has the owner. Not worth it. I don't see how they stay in business

Selection very poor for the price. A good indication that there are better places to eat is when the place is not busy at lunch time on a Fri. Seemed clear but will not go back.

I have been to a lot of bad chinese restaurants In a lot of states, but this place is the #1 WORST restaurant of any kind anywhere. For this restaurant to display a sign that says They are rated as the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the United States is an insult to all the hard working Asian restaurants that produce edible food. Heed my warning and stay far away from this disgusting establishment!

Went there for the buffet they dint really have food out everything was old and the owner did not want to cook fresh food and had the nerve to charge me $50.00 for only two people by far the worst i ever had. Not only did you lose a customer u gained an complaint. And im never the type to do this im very humble but this is just not tolerated.

Beware: Beef was not real meat, it was a gummy substance.

That was a terrible experience the food is not hot. The soup looked like it had another layer on top of it! This was a terrible experience and I don't recommend this place to anyone. You can definitely tell the owner is a cheapskate who doesn't even want to give napkins out.

Absolutely disgusting. Food wasnt freah or hot on the Buffett. Insanely over priced for what I got. 16.99 for the buffet. Also who wants deviled eggs or hamburger patties with cheese at a Chinese place.

We ordered our dinner to be delivered last night, 11/6/21. When I went to checkout and pay for our meal it went through the usual prompts for identification information and credit number. The bill defaults to a 20% gratuity. I did have the option to choose a lesser percentage so I chose 15% and completed the transaction. When we got the food, within the quoted time frame I signed my copy really fast and had dinner. When I went online to see why my charge was approximately $50, I found that not only had they received my 15% gratuity, they charged a $6 delivery fee AND .99 Processing Fee. The real kicker was the owner of the restaurant was the one who delivered the food! In this day I think any restaurant is lucky to have any business. The food was far less than exceptional bordering on subpar. The fried rice tasted of old oil.. The leftovers were thrown out needless to say. Please be aware of what you are being charged for at this establishment if you chose to order. I will not be ordering from this restaurant in the future. Poor customer service Bad food Overpriced

We got take out here often when they were located on Shiloh. We followed then to Grand Ave, and it is still just as good. They have the best wonton soup, and everything is always fresh and delicious!

Very authentic Chinese food. I waited to review this restaurant. I picked up take out numerous times. They are consistent. The food is very good every single time. I love their shrimp with broccoli with white sauce, lo mein, shrimp egg rolls, fried chicken wings & shrimp fried rice. As a matter of fact this Chinese food gets best cook award in my book since I tried Chinese food from the east coast to the west & this restaurant definitely wins best cook award. I tip my hat to chef! Keep up the good work!!

So, I really wanted to like this place. We showed up at 4:30 and they had a sign saying that the buffet started at 5. So, we ran some errands and came back at 5. I figured it would take a few minutes to get the menu going so we waited a bit and we’re patience. Our soda had no carbonation so the head guy left and the waiter did the right thing by getting us a bottle of soda that had carbonation, for which I’m grateful. The owner did go to the store and bought a lot of soda but it did take awhile. The food wasn’t real great and the selection was minimal. The customer service was great, the food was ok and the selection was small.I’ve been to hundreds of Chinese buffets and this one just wasn’t very good. It was $70 for 2 adults an 3 kids under 13 and my wife and I joked around that the best parts of the meal were the bottled diet Pepsi’s and the bubble gum balls the kids got out of the gumball machine. It was a disappointing Fathers Day meal.
