The employee working when I went in was nice. I don’t know if the cupcake cases in the store is proper, but the cupcakes are supposedly made daily so there’s that. I got a dozen for a birthday. They were all very tasty, moist, and delicious, even the next day. Overall, highly recommend.

I was in town on business and it was my birthday and I wanted a cupcake and this was near where I had just had lunch so I stopped in. I got the "yin yang" which was described to me as "vanilla and espresso cake with raspberry frosting". She went to put it in a monstrosity of plastic container and I asked her to just give it to me to eat straight away and she seemed like this was the first time she'd been asked this (there were tables there so clearly people have eaten on site before). Ended up being placed on a napkin The cupcake itself was a bit undercooked and had, surprise, a lot of gooey caramel in it that made it impossible to eat cleanly. So I had one bite and it was far too sweet and the tossed it.

This shop needs a deep clean. No cupcakes on display on a Saturday morning. I ordered online a dozen of various flavors. They tasted good, but after seeing the condition of the store, i just cant go back. I made the mistake of using the bathroom... the owner is obviously talented and skilled. I really hope she can get things pulled together. I would guess something else is weighing her down and she us just trying to survive.

I called last minute asking for some cupcakes when our plans fell through. Owner stayed 15 minutes late until I arrived, made a super cute arrangement of cupcakes and labeled them because I knew I wouldn't remember flavors. 5 out of 5 stars... our guests loved them!

Don’t have details didn’t get to experience, they say they are open till 4, I get there and there is a paper sign saying we are sold out….. which okay no worries supply and demand, however I wanted to get these cupcakes for my girlfriends birthday today, went to website to order some and there is no way to pre order cupcakes….. not a great business model, (my opinion) I work all the way on the west end from 5am to 2pm, and don’t have the luxury of leaving work or being downtown to just go get cupcakes so it would be nice to be able to order online and pick up. Suggestion velvet, allow to pre order and pick up so everyone can enjoy your products, don’t just list a cupcake kit to make your own, again no time to do that for me either….. make your product accessible to everyone not just wealthy business owners downtown who can leave work at 10am to come get cupcakes for the office. I have spoken.

Super cute and yummy Woodlands cake for a baby shower! Velvet did a great job creating/decorating a cake based on an inspiration photo I gave them. Great communication and the price was better than getting a cake at Albertsons!

Shout out to Antonia at Velvet Cravings! We requested a Superbowl cake on short notice and she came up with an incredible and delicious creation. The cake looked great and tasted better. All of our guests loved it! Highly recommended!

The place smelt terrible inside and there was flies all around. I saw a bug inside the display case and all the cupcakes on display looked old and gross. It took forever to be noticed by staff and they all acted very rude and unpleasant. The decorations on the cake I ordered were falling apart by the time I got back home and the frosting smelt and tasted spoiled. So disappointed because I heard so many good things about velvet!
