“We waited a bit on MSU’s parents weekend but oh boy was the food worth every minute! I got their Yellowstone scramble and this is the first time in my 40 years of life that I have ever finished my entire breakfast. My husband got the grizzly which was an impressive meal that at his 6’ frame couldn’t finish. My daughter made the “mistake” of getting a double stack of blueberry pancakes with strawberries and ended up having it for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. Great service, friendly staff, amazing breakfast!”

“We stopped by Vienne Cafe Wednesday, April 8, 2026 on our way back to ID. We purchased several bakery items including 2 loaves of sourdough bread. This morning when my husband had a couple of slices, he remarked, “This is the best sourdough bread I have ever tasted. The texture is amazing. There are no air bubbles in it either. “ Coming from the man who eats sourdough bread almost exclusively, this is a huge compliment. Thank you, Anna, for baking such a wonderful bread. We wished we had bought every loaf you had.”

“Wow! What an amazing crew at City Vineyard! I called Steve up on a Thursday asking if they could accommodate a large order of 35 individual charcuterie boxes for a business meeting on Tuesday of the next week. He went to work with his amazing staff and called me back to clarify my order and make sure all would work out several times. He made sure our order was spot on and the gal that put our boxes together was an absolute rock star. Jessie (sp) was a workhorse and came in at 6:00am to put everything together for us. The boxes were put together with precision and care. They were beautiful, delicious, and a huge hit at our meeting! I would recommend this crew for any event you are planning for tasty, filling treats and amazing service. I can’t wait to come back with my family members when we are in town. Thank you! “My boyfriend and I were visiting Bozeman from Billings this past weekend and made a point to return to Izakaya Three Fish after our first incredible experience in October. It did not disappoint.

Both visits have been for the omakase, and each time Chef/Owner Paul and his team created an exceptional dining experience. Every course was thoughtful, creative, and absolutely delicious. One of the things we appreciated most was how the chefs explained each dish as it was served. We are not sushi connoisseurs, so the explanations were really helpful without feeling pretentious, just genuine passion for the food and ingredients.

A special shoutout to Maddy, the bartender, who is a true artist. She crafts many of her own ingredients and is incredibly knowledgeable about cocktails and spirits. Watching her work and hearing her explain the drinks made the bar experience just as memorable as the food.

The entire team made the evening feel welcoming and special while still delivering a high level culinary experience. We cannot wait for our next trip to Bozeman so we can return again!”

“Everything about this place is how business should be done. Welcoming, clean, efficient. Bilingual. We ordered 4 delicious breakfast burritos for our family. We don’t speak Spanish, but learned our numbers today 😂. All of the staff had a smile for us and showed us where we could find the fresh (and free) chips, multiple salsas, pickled carrots & onions, and limes. I forgot that my brother wanted a coffee and went back to order/pay— only to learn that coffee is on the house. I got two. So glad they are here and will be coming back when I am back home for a visit. They made my day. Highly recommend!”

“I enjoy most coffee, but really appreciate good coffee. Since we've found Yellowstone Coffee Roasters out in Bozeman, MT, the difference between the two has been quite a bit easier to tell. So far we've tried Barn Dog (vanilla bean, cherry, and toffee), Farm Stand (chocolate chip, date, and honey), our favorite so far Winter Solstice (dark chocolate and molasses), and now this morning Mexico Chiapas (cocoa, pecan, and praline). We also have Big Sky Lift (milk chocolate, caramel, and roasted nuts) on deck. If you enjoy really great coffee, I can't recommend Yellowstone Coffee Roasters enough.”

She was on the ball with drinks and making sure we were happy, the food did take a long time to reach our table, 22 minutes wait for appetizers, and a additional 18 minutes for the food, wasn’t anyone’s fault I’m sure they were busy but was rather long to wait for chicken wings and chips salsa and queso

I grew up with the Dockside, Portland, Oregon (Tonya Harding connection, look it up!) - and for the longest time that was a standard bearer. I have to say, the sandwich I had yesterday was super flavorful. I can’t describe the meat, but it is just perfect, hints of smoke and very savory. Best I have had in Bozeman, honestly.”

“This was our second time at The Heist, and it was just as good if not better. They have by far the BEST steak in Bozeman. Delicious, tender and cooked to perfection! The Old Fashion, was probably the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for quality food. The sides are most definitely shareable. It’s a bit pricey but keep in mind, you get what you pay for here not like other restaurants in town that have similar prices but the food is “just ok”! Can’t wait to go back!”

“I eat here a few times a week. Everyone is so kind. I ordered sweet potato fries today to share with my friend. Usually, I think the sweet potato fries are sort of soggy but very tasty. This time they were cooked to crispy perfection! Is that because of the beef tallow you are using now? The taste was much better as well! And is it possible to buy a full size container of your poppy seed dressing? I have a lot of food restrictions and that is the only salad dressing that does not upset my stomach and I have been trying for a couple of years to find one that does not. “Roost Fried Chicken had lots of great reviews, so we checked it out during our visit to Bozeman. Roost is a small joint, like a house that was converted into a restaurant. We walked up to the counter, placed our order, and waited at our table for our food. We both ordered chicken sammiches; I got mine with the maca-maca cheese, and my wife got the fries. Whilst we waited, we looked over the swag for sale, and took a seat at one of the indoor tables. There was also outside patio seating, which looked nice. I thought the sammiches were a little small, but the food was tasty.”

The pizza was average, but it is pizza so what is not to love. Only soft spot was service. I think we had a new waitress. She was slow, we had to ask for basic things like silverware or napkins. Not at all a problem, just not worthy of a higher rating.”

I love their tzatziki sauce, not too sour not too sweet and the right amount of herb and garlic in it. It’s not often you get to enjoy some good Mediterranean food like this in Bozeman or Montana frankly as their Billings store is of the same quality having eaten there as well... there were no leftovers.”

“Ordered twice here so far. First time we asked for Louisiana rub, but got lemon pepper. Second time, went back for Louisiana rub, and swore we got lemon pepper again. The employees were working their butts off and I got upset and I want to apologize, i shouldn't have gotten upset. The supervisor remade the wings, and they are very good, so were the fries (which we really didn't want). But the gentleman who took our order said the wings only come in a combo, so we had to get fries. But I looked online and it looks like we can order just wings. Thank you team, you are doing great.”
