The food truck far surpasses the restaurant near the university. Don't know why but the truck team is just way better at presentation and quality. Truck team is engaging, knows what you want and they are quick on recommendations. Tacos are great. Quality is there and the atmosphere is 1000% better than the restaurant. Also price point is spot on.

What a pleasant surprise. I stopped next door for burgers and beers on a monday afternoon and they were closed. i walked two doors down and had tacos instead. this is definitely a hole in the wall. If you want authentic mexican food, probably not place for you. But if you want very flavorful food, definitely your place. I had 2 "street tacos", appeared to be 6" locally made flour tortillas. Twice the size i expected. I got the barbacoa on a Montes and Korean style taco. those 6" tortillas were filled with enough meat to fill me up. I added a side of Diablo salsa, this a hint of ghost pepper, but balanced flavors and very tasty. The guy at the counter was very helpful and patient as we explored the menu while i was ordering. Service was quick. I will definitely be back

Tried their vegan tacos at Music on Main the other day. They tasted horrible, nothing seasoned. It gave me the impression that nothing was cooked, just out of cans and arranged to make it look "nice". Not even a simple guac, lime or salsa.

Five stars for fresh, original tacos. We had Korean tofu, desperado shrimp, desperado barbacoa and Thai rant shrimp tacos. With perfectly cooked proteins and the amazing combination of toppings, very reasonable prices and fast, helpful service, I would recommend eating here 3-5 times a week. The restaurant has a few tables and several seats at the windows for people eating on their own. Could the place use fresh paint and an interior design that reflects the food? Yes, but the best plates are hidden in holes in the wall, like this place.
I have traveled all over the world and I pretend to be a foodie - and these were legitimately some of the best tacos we have eaten.. ever.. I snuck a peak into the kitchen and they were making tortillas from scratch..? The Korean with pork belly, Steak Chimichurri, and Jamaican with steak were our favorites. HIGHLY recommended for fantastic tacos!
