“I've been going to this place since my birthday...I was 5. My grandfather Bill Fleming (Finnegan Electric) said to order anything...it was a lobster tail as big as a cauliflower! EVERY time I'm in Butte this is my go to. I tell people whenever we talk food about this place and the memories my family shared. I'm now 59.. Ruth's Chris has nothing on Lydia's! There were other supper clubs, in Butte at the time...just goes to show that only the strong survive...and if you're a Butte local, you know what that means!”

“Jokers Wild Bar is hands down one of the best spots around! The atmosphere is always fun, welcoming, and full of great energy. What really makes this place stand out though is the bartenders — they are absolutely fantastic. They’re friendly, attentive, and always make sure your drink is perfect. Even when it’s busy, they keep things moving while still making everyone feel taken care of.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning a night out with friends, Jokers Wild never disappoints. Great drinks, great service, and an all-around great vibe. Highly recommend!”

“We have been long time Mackenzie River fans. Our youngest daughter was recently diagnosed with celiac, thus forcing us to eat out less. When we received the email about the Hold the Gluten menu, we came right in! The gluten free alfredo was phenomenal! I had to ask Caila what brand the pasta was. And best of all, our daughter had zero issues/reactions. I can't say enough good things!”

“We love coming here for their sushi rolls. The menu isn’t quite kid friendly but they do have a few options. It’s on the higher priced side and if you’re looking for authentic Asian beer or saki they do not serve anything but Budweiser and bud light sadly. We would go more often if they could drop the food prices and have real authentic drink options. But regardless their butte maki roll is probably my favorite and our sons is the cream cheese ragoons. Would be even better with crab!”

“Our friend, Pam, stopped at this pub as she was passing through Butte. We were traveling a couple days behind her so she contacted us to recommend it. We're so glad we stopped in. We met the owners, Kyle and Jean. We had a bit of Wisconsin background to share with them and felt like we were back home.Our hearty pub burgers were excellent. Just what we were in the mood for. They have lots of seating. We chose to eat and have a beer at the bar and met a couple of "regulars" and had great conversation. We highly recommend The Homestake Pub. “We were briefly in town and popped in this place. Yes there is limited seating but there’s not much you can do about that. It opens into a lovely art gallery. Very warm and welcoming. It was very busy the day we were there, as it was farmers market, but the barista moved through the line fairly quickly. They were very knowledgeable about the coffee and the menu. The espresso itself was phenomenal. Very smooth, not acidic or bitter at all. I am admittedly, very picky about my coffee and this place checked all the boxes. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Butte.”

“What a great experience! Jim (our bartender) is a gem...so attentive and genuinely hospitable.
Hops is located in the Best Western hotel. We liked the atmosphere, comfy seating area, great selection of beer on tap and assortment of gaming machines. Bar area was quiet enough to converse, which we did as Jim is a knowledgeable local host.
We were offered a snack of chips with salsa or nuts and pretzels if we so desired, or if we wanted hot food, he would have gone next door to the Perkins restaurant to put in an order for us. I tell you, you don't get this kind of service most places.
Prices were good and we would return!!”

The beer is top notch! Currently the Open Pit Porter and the Ragged Shute NEIPA are my two favorites. They do 16 oz and 32 oz can fills as well and growler fills. I really do love Quarry!”

“Amazing. Full disclosure this is one of my bestest friends shop, which means if it was bad I'd talk mad trash :P But it's not! The coffee is delicious, we ordered sour dough paninis. Ham and cheese. Simple and yet exactly what I want from this kind of sandwich. My kids split an order of French Toast sticks and they were both decadent but still the down home kind of breakfast item you hope for. Dan even has a special candy corn syrup for his fall menu, which was disgusting, BECAUSE i hate candy corn and it was spot on for the flavor! If you want some good coffee with a very friendly staff, skip the others and head over to Miners!”

But we have had many many bday parties, surprise parties, and even my parents 42 vowl renewal wedding there”

“I love silver bow. We go there every Tuesday for the buffet. The last 3 weeks pizza selection was poor and what was there was cold. We are there at noon. Rarely is there 5 people there when we arrive. I was told by a girl that she would have more in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, still nothing. Left hungry after paying over $11 for lunch.”

“The cashier was one of the grumpiest people I've met on my road trip across the USA. No smile, no words spoken, just an RBF throughout the transaction. I was agast when I was prompted for a TIP at the point of sale.

The breakfast and coffee were good. The dining area was rustic and pleasant.”

“The name says it all. One huge party after 9pm. Be warned non drinkers. For those of you that don't drink alcohol, you will be ignored. Once you get your first Pepsi or water, your on your own. You'll have to throw something at the bartender to get their attention after that. Music at times is so loud you can't talk with the people you came in with. It does get loud. 5 people in the bar but the music volume is set for a packed house. During the day its quite and there's a few pool tables to be played. But at night it's a different story. It's worth checking out.”
