“It's a great place to go for some time away from the world. Rent a cabin. Bring something to entertain yourself in case the heavenly scenery isn't enough to entertain you for a whole day. Great place for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.Nearby activities: There are NOTHING but bars and the hot springs itself within 20 minutes of here.“
“If you’re in Missoula this is one of those need-to-go places. It’s a classic, with some of the best ice cream in Missoula, possibly even the best. If you do visit expect a line but it’s worth the wait. Big Dipper is a wonderful treat and place during hot summer evenings or really any time.“
“I have been here a couple times now, and wish that I had discovered it sooner. The crepes are absolutely amazing, I can speak in particular for the T and C Classic. The service is very kind, making this place an excellent spot for an after-dinner treat.“
“It's exactly what it's called, it's local burgers! Everything comes from local producers. The staff are always nice and friendly. The burgers are always delicious and incredibly moist, those are the best chips I've ever had in my life, and I really enjoy their chocolate shake. Very different than say a 5 Guys or a McDonald's burger, fries, and shake but it's my favorite burger in town! Also I got to meet Gary the last time I was there, he's a dog!!! : )Parking: There usually tons of free parking on the street, or even the parking lot which gives you a free hour and ~1$ after that.“
“This brewery is tied for my second favorite in Missoula. We came here after running the half marathon and we got a free drink when we showed our medal! We didn't know they were doing this and the bartender told us it was all taken care of after we ordered. So nice! The beer was good - I liked all the samplers I got in my flight - and they had a large variety to choose from. It's a large space - it was pretty crowded but we were able to snag 3 spots at the bar. They were starting to set up for a band, so they have live music as well.“
“My husband says I’m spoiled but the truth is I this is the best coffee I’ve had. Everyone is always friendly and Maya has her special touch she always makes my coffee just right. It’s nice when they see my car in line at the Broadway location and already know my order ❤️“
“A friend and I had a decent lunch here. We tried the queso which was good, but was a little on the thin side. Fish tacos were just OK. The piece of fish is on the small side and there wasn't a ton of flavor in the tacos. The Cobb salad was very nicely prepared. Service was reasonable, but not the most friendly“
“Went here a couple years ago and it was like stepping back in time! Who would have thought that there was a saloon in the middle of a forest, but there was! It was so neat to walk in and smell the wood fireplace fill the air and see a table of regulars playing poker at a table. The dim lighting set the stage even more along with the crackling fire and the cold weather and snow outside! We had found our winter haven! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We were staying at Lolo Hot Springs and all the food options were closed up and we didn't want to drive all the way to Missoula, so we thought we would follow the signs for Jacks Saloon. We are glad we did! What a great experience. We got ourselves a couple burgers, steak fries and a couple beers. This hit the spot on a cold, winters night. My husband and I often talk about this place and wanting to go back when we are back in the area! Thanks for a great experience!!“
