“This place is such a gem! We’re from out of town and eyed this place from reviews and stumbled upon it on the street organically! The service and staff, welcoming and attentive. The space is elevated yet cozy. The drinks match the vibe, and will please any service industry and patron alike. From the well to signature cocktails, all will come and be satisfied. The menu, unstoppable. It was such a satisfying array of flavors, presentations, and combinations. I can’t speak highly enough about the tapas menu hitting the spot. The bar ware is super cute and makes you want to put it in your pocket but the staff and overall vibe keeps you from putting it in your pocket… 10 out of 10“

“Had a great night tonight at 1889, our meal was very delicious and it had a great atmosphere. Our server Josiah b did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable, and walking us through some of our menu questions. He overall had a great vibe, and made the evening even more classy. “Has a very nice old style steak house feel. I’m normally not a fan of prime rib, but I ordered their blackened prime rib; it is hands down the bread steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant. That goes to include Ruths Chris too. It was cooked perfect, seasoned perfect and melted in my mouth.“

“I had chicken fried steak. It was made with real cube steak (so rememberthat when you eat it IT'S A CUBE STEAK), hand breaded and cooked in a skillet to absolutely PERFECTION. The mashed potatoes, real with skins in them and oh so cream and yummy corn. My husband had new york strip! Cooked to absolutely perfect. I had soup, white bean and ham. Reminded me of when my mom made beans and hame as a kid. I 100% will eat here again. They've done a nice job with the building. Take the time and stop by super yummy and I doubt you'll be disappointed. If you are, if you say something I'm 100% sure they will make it right. Thanks for the yummy food! Blessings to you and yours“
