“I hadn’t been to the café in quite a while when we stopped a couple months ago for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We went back again this week, and, again, had a great dining experience. The food is nothing fancy, but its classic diner/café faire served quickly and at a fair price… it is one of the best ‘exactly what I’d expect’ restaurants I’ve been to in a while. If you want a quick meal that feels like home-cooking, I definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.I want to make a special note about the prices/value. You don’t have to drive very far from here to pay way more for a worse meal. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity/quality of food. Again, right on the mark.”
“Fantastic place. Bridger has awesome beer. This location offers a different menu than the Bozeman location. If you want pizza, go to Bozeman. If you want something else, go to the Three Forks location. I recommend getting the Smoke Show pulled pork sandwich, but ask for it sauced with their Korean BBQ for an interesting kick. Pair it with the coolness of their wedge salad and a Vigilante IPA. Delicious.”
“Take what I say as just an opinion: I'm a white midwesterner with zero Asian blood. That said, finding this place in a small Montana town was a wonderful surprise. It's a family-owned spot, which I always treat as a good sign. At dinner today, the first school day after Labor Day, the owners' kids were helping out. Turned out to be better than most of the Chinese joints back home in Minnesota, and goes toe to toe with the most memorable meals I've had at Chinese spots on other trips.Service was quick, filling our table with dishes in less than the time it took to eat our hot & sour soup (a must-try, free of unnecessary thickener). Pot stickers were crispy and delicate, nothing like the chewy mess I usually find at home. Moo shu was delightful, with airier spring pancakes than I've ever seen.Felt like countering one of the 1-star reviews from months or years ago, because this restaurant right here is my number-one reason for coming through Three Forks again next time I'm headed west.”
“We were here for only one night. The rating would have been 2 or 3, but the historic aura of this hotel makes it worth a stay. We enjoy staying in historic properties, and know that you often have to sacrifice comfort/convenience in many of these. However, the Sacajawea falls short in several areas. Three Forks is a tiny town, and this hotel is about the only decent choice. It's right on Main Street, with parking right at the hotel. the 2-story hotel building (no elevator) was built in 1911, and the lobby, front porch, etc. still exude the historical significance of this place. Sitting out on the front verandah is relaxing. But there are issues, some of which could be fixed without too much effort or cost. Our first floor queen suite (free upgrade) showed its age. It was a large room with a large bathroom (walk-in shower). It had a very high ceiling. But the furnishings needed updating, and the a/c was loud. It faced Main Street, so the road noise was significant at times. Notwithstanding, the room was OK for us given the history. But other issues outweighed the history feel. When we checked in, no one was at the front desk for a full 10 minutes---bad start. There used to be a fine dining restaurant adjacent to the lobby, but it's apparently closed now. So now the restaurant is downstairs in the bar, a popular place for locals. The food, etc. is good here, but it was very crowded, and we ended up having dinner sitting at the bar. Perhaps they should reserve some tables for guests of the hotel. The final issue was unforgiveable. As noted by other reviewers, breakfast is a fiasco. It's just a limited continental breakfast set up on the 2nd floor. You have to carry it back down to the 1st floor if your room is on that floor. There are no indoor tables to sit at----you eat in your room. We actually ate at an outside table on a patio behind the hotel. But this is, of course, weather permitting. The former restaurant on the 1st floor is dark. But it still has booths and some tables. So why not at least set up the mediocre continental breakfast there, so guests can eat breakfast there (and buss their own tables). I understand that, like a lot of places today, the hotel might be short-staffed. But these issues may indicate "terminal signs"---potential closure. That would be sad, as it is a lovely building with much history.”
“Pictures of food & bar drink options look very nice. It's a nice, small town that my high school friends purchased and I hope to visit them to have fun and experience their new business in the future.”
“JaMocha Junction is my Go To when I’m out and about in town (Three Forks). Always makes a great cup of coffee. Friendly, courteous and always delivers that perfect HOT drink. When I’m wanting something different I’ll trust who’s working and I’m happy to have them suggest something to try. Convenient location, right off the exit to Three Forks from I90.”
“So grateful there is another coffee place in three forks!! They are very reasonably priced and so far customer service has been awesome! I definitely reccomend Remuda Coffee for your coffee cravings!!”
“They have really good food. However I was a little disappointed this morning (3/29/24). You would think for $4.50 a bagel, they would be twice the size as a store bought bagel. Will keep that in mind for next ”
“I had the absolute BEST experience last night with Stageline! My husband called to order me pizza for my birthday so I didn’t have to cook. One of the pizzas he ordered had sauerkraut on it but they said they were out of it. My husband told them about it being my fave pizza and that I would probably be bummed but to just go ahead and make a Hawaiian without it. When he showed up, someone had gone to the store just for us to pick up sauerkraut so I would have it special for my birthday. Made my entire night. So sweet that someone went the extra mile for their customer. Thank you sooooo much!”
“You can order takeout from the Sac. Really good food you can enjoy at home. We just order on our way back home after a long day & it's so nice to count on a great meal without the fuss of cooking sometimes.”
“Update for recent visit April 2024Service in the dining room was disappointing. Not busy when we arrived for early dinner, but service was rushed. Tried to catch attention of our server three times and eventually gave up. Probably servicing bar side as well though. Spent over $350 for 3 people, and the food was mostly worth it. Breaded prawns were incredible, but the steak with it had a strip of grissle through it. Alaskan King Crab was also way too salty. Happy to pay market price for access to great seafood, just expected it to taste better. Will keep going back, but likely going to bar side. Some times, the old ways are the best ways. They know how to do a steak. The escargot is interesting (canned from a large world-wide food provider) and stuffed in a mushroom. Always get the mussels with garlic butter. I like the filet mignon, but the ribeye is good as well. Open seating at the bar (may 8-10 seats) but would call ahead just in case. They tend to book the dining room first, then will book all the tables in the bar as well. They serve the same menu. Owners are great, and you are bound to make some friends.”
“The absolute best Mushroom and Spinach Omelet that I have ever had in my life! The fruit that came with it was perfectly rippened. The Campers Hash was also to die for! And the service was wonderful!”

“Traveling through, I chose this cafe because of the pie. I had a BLT+A and fries, which was excellent. It was big enough that I didn’t have room for pie, so I got a piece of bourbon pecan to go. It was yummy. The atmosphere was fun. The staff was fun. I definitely would recommend a stop here.”
