“Stopped in here while completing our Trail Way Map. Great seats out front – drinks were good – service was good. We started off with the Pretzel Bites (Delicious) – no complaints. I ordered the Brown Bagged Chicken & Chips – Zero complaints, chicken was delicious but I did use the dip from Kid #2’s nachos as I found the honey dip to be too much “honey”. I also preferred Heinz Ketchup – they seem to use that ketchup that has that different tang to it. Kid #1 ordered the hamburger and fries – Zero complaints – ate the whole thing and was trying to dig into to Kid #2’s nacho chips Kid #2 ordered the nachos – she ate them all (mainly due to Kid #1 showed some interest in them so she probably forced most of them in her). Wife ordered the Burrito Bowl – she mentioned that it was delicious and also that she couldn’t finish it. She offered me a few bites (which meant she couldn’t finish it and was embarrassed at the amount she did leave). I think the place deserves a second visit – I’d like to hit up a few other items on their menu.”

The coffee was freshly ground for every pot. What a great spot! The only regret is that it took me 13 years to come here! Not a great group place as there is only counter service but awesome for a few people in a group (1-5). It takes a bit longer to get your order than other restaurants BUT... it is fresh and hot because they only do on order (slip) at a time! Too bad there isn't an option for 10 ⭐ out of 5!”

“tried Chong's Place for the first time today, and it was amazing! I originally went to Buffet to go and it was so unsanitary that I left. I brought it home and we loved the food so much and are thankful for our leftovers hehe. We decided on making Chongs our go to place. I have driven by a few times and seen folks out for a drink but didn't think I would have the chance to stop in, but on a visit to Picaroons we grabbed a Taproom Trail map and discovered a cool event where you visit several different taprooms and get a stamp to be entered into a draw. The wife and I decided to make every Friday during the summer into a date day at a different taproom. Graystone was our first (we grabbed the trail map at Picaroons but forgot to get the stamp, we will be back) Graystone experience - hands down best service I have yet to experience. I only have three local breweries to compare experiences but was very impressed with Graystone. While ordering a second round I had picked up an additional can for a friend, the guy working said, "I'll put your name on it and leave it in the cooler for when you are ready to leave". It was perfectly cold for when we were ready to leave. I can't speak for the "beer" - I only look for Ciders and when they tell me they have York County Cider on tap - I'm a happy customer! Excellent first time experience!”

From the start, Emma and her staff, notably Oakley and Sage, provided a beautifully decorated venue and a pleasant experience all around. There were even extras thrown in to enhance our expectations. “The food is spectacular! This is a favourite spot for my husband and I to go on date nights. Definitely one of Fredericton's best restaurants. The atmosphere is trendy, yet relaxed and the wait staff are all professional and really friendly. I have a gluten and dairy restricted diet and they are always willing to alter a recipe to accommodate me, as well as already offering gluten free options. The menu is varied and the desserts are so good. Well worth the money- every time. This restaurant never disappoints.”

The food and drinks were top-notch: I treated myself to their indulgent loaded fries, kid #1 enjoyed classic chicken fingers, kid #2 savored a burger and fries, and my wife opted for the flavorful chicken burger. Not a single complaint—every bite was devoured with enthusiasm! Picaroons consistently delivers on ambiance and quality. “This Fredericton, NB spot was recommended by a "guy in the biz". It's small with very well appointed décor and a lovely outdoor patio when the weather works. We were thrulled to see several veggie options and we ordered them ALL! Cauliflower, Squash, Broccoli and Eggplant, along with the Puttanesca pizza. The veggies were all done in a unique way, with a light touch and very fresh. The Squash blew us away, like candy, and stunningly plated. The copious use of fine, seasoned breadcrumbs was wonderfully refreshing, adding a slight crunch to the dishes. The tomato sauce in all dishes was so fresh, so virgin yet tasty, we wanted or order a bottle to take home! (We did order the Penne to take home, ha!) The pizza was a complete surprise and we should have ordered that first as we were not expecting a Sicilian style pizza. This type of pizza in its original Italian form is from Sicily. It has a thick, spongy, focaccia-like crust that is crispy on the bottom. This one was LOADED and beautifully presented. Arguably the BEST Sicilian pizza I've had outside Montreal's Little Italy. The service was incredibly warm and professional and really added an additional dynamic to the evening that pushed the rating to 5! We can't wait to go back!!”

It’s a very homey diner, it’s bathrooms and atmosphere is clean and the waitresses are extremely patient and inviting. we did wait a bit for our food but it was a big order so that’s normal. when we got the food it was all perfectly cooked and very delicious. the portions were good for the prices. there’s also a make your own coffee bar and coolers so you can pick your own drinks (anything from juice to energy drinks). in the end our bill came to 178.22 and for the food we got it was well worth it. we tipped 40$ and thanked them for being patient with us. will definitely be back:))”

“I have been to the Hilltop a few times and each time it is different. One thing I don't like is the prices - showing the meal price and then in smaller print that indicates fries are more, seems a bit much. For the quality of food being served, I would think the meal price is sufficient. $18.99 for just a club wrap is ridiculous and then to add an additional $3.99 for fries is over the top...in my opinion. Overall I have been happy with my meal. I ordered the club and fries and my wife ordered the fish and chips. Her coleslaw (which I tried) pretty generic - didn't finish it. The fish and chips came with tartar sauce and a fry dip - which is usually a garlic aioli. My fries came with tartar sauce (I'm assuming was by mistake) but I didn't mind and between ketchup and tartar sauce, I made it work considering it seems like they switched from the garlic aioli to something different. I think the waitress said it was some Belgian or German dipping sauce?? My wife tasted and immediately said that there was something wrong with it. So she said to me, "this tastes awful....here taste it". I tasted it and indeed it was the most rank stuff I have ever put in my mouth. It didn't taste sour our past the expiry, it tasted chemically bad. I was positive that it must have been a bad batch of something - server came by and my wife mentioned the bad dipping sauce and she said it was their new sauce. Simply said, "ok - that is fine, just not for me". The waitress brought another cup of the sauce and said that they chef tasted it and it was fine. My wife tasted the new one and it was the same stuff. The Hilltop - it's spacious and a great atmosphere for large groups with a lot of character on the inside.”

“I recently stopped by Harveys and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. The menu had a good variety of options, and everything looked fresh and well-prepared. I ordered the [BH ANGUS BURGER MEAL ], and it exceeded my expectations — flavorful, hot, and clearly made with care.

What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service I received from Jannat. She greeted me with a warm smile, helped me with my order, and made sure I was satisfied with everything. Her friendly and professional attitude added a personal touch that made the experience even better.

It's always a great feeling when you walk into a store and feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Thanks to Jannat, this visit was a 10/10. I'll definitely be coming back!

“I was there this week in a large group on Tuesday for lunch. Our seating area was great, the lunch buffet and food ordered off the menu was good. I had the buffet, enjoyed the flavours of the dishes, especially the curry, the spicy veggie, & the dish with shrimp was tasty too. Everyone seemed to enjoy their selections! What stood out to me was our server. I’ve never seen anyone so attentive & proactive in their approach to looking after a large group. I regretfully did not ask her name as she moved around refilling drinks, removing plates, providing bowls, extra napkins, leftover containers, etc.. All without even asking, or really having to anticipate anything. 🤩”

“Normally I avoid this place like the plague. They messed up my wife's burger order completely. Swung back around to complain. Gabriel made up for it ten times over. Normally McDonalds has poor customer service but this guy was actually a solid employee. Give him a raise or promotion. Great guy that handled my problem well. I requested dark meat for my two-piece chicken, but it wasn’t available when they handed me the food. Still, it was fine, the staff let me know in a polite and friendly way. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful, the fries were hot and crispy, and the biscuit had that soft, buttery texture that hits just right. The place itself is a bit small, but it’s clean and has a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes it comfortable to dine in. The price is worth it too, not pricey at all for the quality and portion you get. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area and craving Popeyes fried chicken.”
