“Went early on good Friday to avoid the 2 hour wait at the fish place down the street. This place is so under-rated. Fish wasn't all batter, it was all fish!!! Yay! Got the 12 piece for our BIG family and we all had a decent portion with leftovers. Our son loves this place for their poutine so we decided to try it out. This is our new fish and chips place. Super friendly staff and has a down home feel. The tartar sauce???? #Heavenly Can't wait to try their fried chicken and other stuff. Probs our next birthday dinner stop. Sorry no pics...we devoured it. Even left overs 😋🫶🏽😍”

“Beautiful spot in Shediac! We sat on the outdoor patio, which offers a lovely, scenic view of the harbour. We shared the seafood platter, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. If you're looking for great food with a view, this is the place to go.”

“We were staying ay Parlee Beach Campground and my wife and small dog took the bikes to this restaurant. What a great idea that was. Food was good, servers were really nice and super friendly place for a dog on the patio. They had a bike rack to park our bikes so that was nice. The decor was also very nice. They had live music that day and the guitarist had smooth tunes all night. Will go back again if I’m in town again.”

“The Donaire's here are not to be missed. The small is huge and absolutely delicious.
I cannot speak of the atmosphere as we did take out, but the ladies here were beautiful. Very friendly amd helpful.”

They are very nice when they get something wrong (they have only ever gotten one thing wrong) There burgers ARE amazing! Better than McDonald's.
Overall 6 stars everywhere... This is the new family spot.

“I hadn't been to Shediac in 40 years. We traveled from Toronto to visit family and friends. We stayed within walking distance to Golden Fry. I had a lobster roll and hubby had a burger. Great food. Excellent service. I have to add that the coleslaw is the very best I've ever eaten 😁 I wish I could have brought a giant tub of it home 😅 Golden Fry is a great place to stop by. It's busy because the food and service is great 🦞”

“The first time I went there couple of weeks ago, the young lady working behind the cash seemed to be new at it. Didn't know much about the menu was a bit confused. It was like hit or Miss with her. Last week I went to the same a&w and Shediac at New Brunswick, this time a young man was behind a cache. He was very courteous. Nice, polite, easy to talk to.
One thing about a&w. You can also have a senior discount LOL”

“We we're looking for a nice patio to have a drink. Coralee greeted us quickly and cheerfully, while managing a few dishes at the same time :) Then Caitlin our server was great, she checked on us several times. The white sangria was lovely and the breaded wings were tasty too!”

“We have used Dixie Lee many many times over it's time in Shediac and the most recent time was end of Nov. December 9th we ordered a huge order as we had company at our home . A barrel plus an extra 12 piece . our bill was 120.00 . we was excited for our company to try this chicken as we had told them how good it was . we all started eat .. it was so salty we took the skin off and tried the chicken. so salty .. not one of us 7 people could eat it . it was beyond Salt . I do not know what happened but it was disgusting. We called the business the next day and explained how terrible it was .. they replied with bring a piece in for us to try .. which my son did yesterday. They told us it was our taste buds that was off ... lol . sorry but 7 adults and all felt it was 25 times salty then it should be . The salads and French Fries was good .. The chicken was terrible. I hope the business owner is aware of this . as I am a business owner and would want to know if someone who is a regular returning client was nit satisfied with my service .. We WILL NEVER Order Dixxie Lee in Shediac Again .. it was disgusting and terrible customer service . after telling us it was our test buds .. we always ordered from there because it's not as salty as other places .. our business means nothing .I spoke with the owner after the assistant manager told me .. if we did not come back to the restraunt it would not matter to them . One client means nothing . The owner called me shortly after and was intoxicated at 10 pm at night and confirmed she was going on vacation to drop off the rest of the chicken which I did and she would get back to me in early January 2025 ... since then its crickets.. not a email , not a call , nothing . We will never darken your door . We did not expect much however fix your wrong salty chicken .”
