“I will start this review off by saying you have to give them a try no doubt about it. With that being said I will give you my experience. When we walked in we were welcomed and seated quickly. Austin was our server and he did an amazing job hands down. The Food was amazing as well. Everything was out in a timely manner so you don't have to worry about how long it will take your food to come out. Austin was very good about giving us an update on things as they were coming out. Not to just brag on Austin I will also say everyone seems to be in sync with each other. Everyone seems to help out to make sure customers are well taken care of which I love to see in a restaurant. It really takes up the experience to know that you are going to be well taken care of. I will end by saying check out the pictures and go give Christine's Wood Fire ? a try!!“
“We made the drive from Charlotte to eat here!!! It was amazing. Great food all around, amazing service. Everyone is so friendly, attentive and welcoming. I will say, if you’re in a car pulling into Jays. Go extremely slow, exaggerate the slow pull in. You’ll be fine in a truck or lifter SUV. My boyfriends car fender liner got busted out even when he went slow due to how rough it is pulling in think because It’s uneven and bumpy and makes it harsh. beware of the parking lot. But it’s worth the drive for the food and service.“
“Food was very good, service and atmosphere was lively but also relaxing. Prices varied like most restaurants and given the extensive menu not overly expensive. You could tell the staff was dedicated to your enjoyment and upbeat about their restaurant. I'll be back.“
“Our waitress was very attentive even though she was extremely busy. Hush puppies are great!Crab cakes are delicious!!! Chicken Parm was ok I had much better and the fried flounder was decent. Overall it was good. I’ll be back to try another menu item and post again.“
“For a little town this was an awesome Mexican restaurant. Service was good. Portions were huge especially for the price. The burrito was really good the steak was juicy. The chorizo was a little bit spicy but just right not too greasy either. The guacamole was so good that came on everything just the right amount of seasoning cilantro and lime and you could tell the avocado was fresh. Good queso and chips. Whether you're just passing through staying nearby or live somewhere nearby this is a great spot to get some good Mexican.Parking: Parking on side of building and behind building.“
“Just about the best fish camp in the state. Amazing perch, flounder, and catfish. Get them salt-and-peppered. The red slaw they serve by default is good, but if it's not your cup of tea they have white slaw as well. Their hushpuppies are probably/definitely the best I have ever had.“
“In a word: amazing. Another word that comes to mind: fresh! Thrilled to have found a place in town with the highest level of quality and pricing.Everything is seasonal, so call ahead if there is something specific you are craving. We had the shrimp w/fries and fish & chips, which can go wrong, but not here! Ample servings, and the freshness was obvious. We did not eat in, but the dining area is inviting. We came well before the dinner rush, and the turnaround time was very reasonable. We will absolutely be back.“
