The restaurant has delicious home cooked meals. Their serving portions are generous and the daily selection of homemade cakes are exceptionality good. The owner and all of her staff are very friendly and they appreciate your business.

Very friendly. Ashley was great! It’s a hole in the wall, but some of the best food in the world is prepared in places like this Cafe.

We stopped in spur of the moment and I’m glad we did! Awesome food, great atmosphere with an outside picnic area that allowed my dog. Definitely must check it out!

Chicken sandwich was moist and the fries were perfect and hot. Great place. Friendly owner. Give this place a try, it's off the beaten trail you, but you won't be disappointed.

Went here with the wife and mom after they were featured on Fox 8 news and this place was excellent. Very small quaint building that looks like it was a home that was converted into a restaurant and it sits in a residential neighborhood. Small parking lot that only fits about 5 cars but most people that eat here order out. The restaurant itself is small as well and they only have two booths and a few tables but again most people order out here so if you choose to dine in you shouldn't have a problem finding a seat. They only have coke brand bottle drinks which I think is nice cause a soda machine doesn't taste as fresh to me. Everything is cooked fresh to order so you have to wait a bit but trust me this food is well worth the wait. The wife had the pork chops with fried okra and mac & cheese, mom had the hamburger steak with cole slaw & cabbage and I landed on the 2 piece dark chicken with fried okra and rice & gravy. All of the food here tasted great and met every expectation of what soul food should be. The restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms. The employee's here were very friendly and respectful. This is a family owned local business so put on your shoes and travel from wherever to eat here because this is great food and they deserve/need the support here instead of a big chain restaurant. I love love loved this place and we will definitely go back here again. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.
