Took my kid here for breakfast because I knew he could get a fancy waffle. The hostess was friendly and we were seated immediately because they were slow. My kid ordered the cookie dough waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich had chicken tenders, eggs and gravy. The waiter seemed very apathetic. While we were waiting for our food, I watched a piece of food float to the bottom of my drink. I figured I would just ask for another when he brought our food out. We waited quite a while considering how slow they were, but I've worked many kitchen and serving jobs so I try to cut them some slack. When he finally brought our food out, my kids waffle was plain. Not the one he clearly ordered. Also, the eggs were clearly very old. They were cold and had that rubbery texture eggs get when they've sat out for a while. I mentioned the waffle to our waiter and he tried to say that my kid ordered the plain waffle but reluctantly said he would have it remade. A few minutes later he brought out a bowl with some whipped cream and cookie dough in it for my kid to put on his waffle. I knew things were not going to get any better at this point and I wasn't going to argue with this guy who clearly had zero concerns, so I told my kid not to eat the eggs and I scraped them off of my sandwich too. He ate the waffle and bacon. I ate the cold food on my plate. I didn't drink the coke I paid for and we left. Sometimes you just cut your losses and know not to go back to a place. Such a disappointment as I was just trying to do something special for my kid. Thanks a lot Ike.

Had a great brunch at this restraunt while in Ashville for the weekend. They were pretty busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. Service was very good! . All the food we ordered was hot and fresh. No complaints at all.

In town for the ArborFest, my friend and I were eager to discover a breakfast spot that could offer a hearty meal and a glimpse into the local dining scene. Another Broken Egg Cafe caught our attention, and we arrived shortly after opening, hopeful for a good start to our day. The cafe didn't disappoint; we were met with a friendly welcome that echoed the inviting atmosphere, making it clear this place was a local gem.Promptly seated and with our drink orders swiftly taken care of, I decided to have the Supreme Omelet accompanied by a side of sausage. The dish was flavorful and satisfyingly filling; it was everything I could ask for in a breakfast. The omelet, in particular, was a standout. As the morning progressed, the cafe quickly filled with locals, adding a vibrant buzz and affirming its popularity among the town's residents. This transformation from a quiet morning spot to a bustling community hub enhanced our dining experience with a genuine sense of place.Based on this visit, I recommend Another Broken Egg Cafe to anyone searching for a quality breakfast experience. Whether you're a visitor in town for an event or a local looking to rediscover the joys of a well-made morning meal, this cafe promises to serve great food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The food was amazing but our server Meredith was phenomenal! We are visiting from out of town and she provided a hand written list of other locations to try based on our interests. Truly went above and beyond for our group and it is so appreciated. Thank you Meredith!

This was my wife and I’s first time eating at Another Broken Egg Cafe, and it was a wonderful experience for us both. Our server Sarah H. was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, but having such a wonderful server is what truly made our experience so amazing. We 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!

Expect to be ignored if you have a child with you. I have dined here 3 times. Twice with my 2 year old and 1 time with friends and no kids. The service was night and day. The first time I ate here with my husband and our son we were sat at a table further away from everyone else, which is fine, I get that’s easier when you have a kid. The server took forever to even take our order and forgot about our drinks entirely. The drinks came after we were almost done with our meal. When I came on a different occasion and ate with my friends the service was great, the servers were attentive and it was quick. Today I came with my 2 year old again. We were sat at a table right away but nobody ever came to take our order. Multiple people who were sat after us were served. The manager came by every table around us to ask how things were and flat out skipped over our table. After 20 minutes of sitting with a restless and hungry 2 year old we decided to cut our losses and just leave.

We went because our parents raved about it....service was nonexistent....food slow and cold. Waiter did not care. This is a waiter that my dad pulled aside and informed "you're better than this" because he is a regularPlenty of staff there (all ignoring us)...restaurant only 1/4 full.Hope thus restaurant can fix this....I couldn't eat the cold congealed eggs and cardboard pancakes (not even warm enough to melt butter)...

Our server looked angry to have been given another table upon seeing us waiting for service. She completely lacked any sort or motivation or enthusiasm, which for a birthday lunch really kills the vibe. You have a liquor license..you are in Asheville, and your Menu in bold print says "ask our servers about our beer selection". I did that excited to get a beer...however you ask them the selection..and the answer is "we have no beer". So disappointing and confusing considering the menu tells you to ask about beer. Then to hear them say that Asheville isn't a beer market and that it's silly to expect beer from a manager, kinda blows my mind. Hoping this was just a bad day, as this was one of my favorite places in Asheville.
