The Biltmore Bake Shop is a nice place to sit and enjoy a pastry. It is also very busy and the lines are not too orderly. The pastries were very good and we enjoyed them. The service was okay but not very outgoing. They also have a wide variety of beverages, cookies and even serve some alcoholic beverages. It is worth a visit and enjoyable.Vegetarian options: Mostly non-meat itemsDietary restrictions: Premade, ask before orderingParking: Large lotsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible

Honestly terrible srvice and terrible food. Its a bakery shop that wont heat up your pastry, like im sorry when you pay hundreds of dollar to visit the biltmore with your family you should AT LEAST be able to get a hot pastry and a good sandwich. The sandwiches tasted like something i grabbed from the gas station.

We stopped in after our candlelight tour. I got the spikes vanilla hot cocoa. My husband got the spikes apple cider and I was instantly jealous. I ever thought I'd like anything with a Jack Daniel's liquor. But I was shocked. They had heaters set up outside, which was very nice.

Great food! Insanely disrespectful employees! The sweet lady running register had no help and when she ask the two standing behind her just staring at the customers they would be rude and continue to not help their fellow employee or customers! So sad, felt horrible for the lady at the register who also voiced how they would not help and if they did they wouldn’t tell her and it confused her that much more.

The Stable Cafe is one of the restaurants on the Biltmore Estate and is the closest to the House. You can make reservations if you know when you will be wanting to dine. The atmosphere is nice here to dine and the service is really great. There are booths to one side of the restaurant, tables in the middle and partitioned sections with a few tables in each on the other side. I prefer to sit in the section with just a few tables as it is quieter. I ordered the pot roast that came with mac n cheese and greens. It was a lot of food and the meat portion was huge. It was enough food to split. I couldn't finish it but my waiter gave me a to go box and put it in a bag. The meat was tender and very good. The mac n cheese was creamy. My waiter went above and beyond and made sure I had everything I needed and kept my beverage full.

This unique venue is located in the restored stable house at The Biltmore Estate. The room, a large stable space with original tile walls includes booths set in the horse stalls with the feeders still intact. The place was boisterous as it was lunchtime and packed with servers bustling to get diners and Biltmore House guests in and out to make their Tour times. I wished I had written down the name of our server because she was the epitome of casual southern charm. When we informed her we had 50 minutes for lunch before our ticket time for a tour of the Biltmore House, she did everything to make sure we got served quickly and brought our check before we were even finished. This was much appreciated. My wife LOVES pot roast and ordered that. What came out was a MASSIVE portion of pot roast on a bed of white cheddar macaroni and cheese with braised winter greens and a demi-glace on top. The cheese sauce on the macaroni was more like a bechamel, but she had no complaints! She could barely get through half the pot roast and our server ("bless her heart") kept asking my wife if she found the food to her satisfaction. Absolutely she did! I ordered the Blue Ridge Spicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, tossed in a spicy vinegar with housemade dill pickles and a pimento cheese spread with housemade potato chips. I'm not a fan of the local cheese spread, but that's just me. The rest was delicious! This meal was good to begin with, but made great by the amazing service of our server and a unique environment. Recommend this place for a lunch whether you're visiting the BIltmore House or not.

They opened late. Ordered a plain bagel, not toasted, with cream cheese. Took 10 minutes to get. The older gentleman who was working the cash register was the only one working. The other employees were too busy getting themselves coffee drinks and talking to care about the customers. Pass on this one.

We visited twice at Christmas and enjoyed a very delightful gingerbread man and cappuccino after touring the estate the first night and a sandwich and soda the second night. Food and drinks were great and the service fast and friendly.

Had a very good lunch here- we ordered the sampler and a bowl of chili to share and it wAs perfect- the sampler comes with chicken with gravy, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese and collard greens- plenty of food and very good. Our waitress was lively too. Enjoyable lunch!

Love the stable atmosphere. Great service and great food. Had the pot roast and they added great southern collard greens. The meat was moist. Chicken salad was tastey and flakey croissant. Cappuccino were perfect in a cold day. Caterer to daughters allergies. Good atmosphere and good food.

Great flavors, great service. Josh took excellent care of us. Roasted chicken breast was moist, flavorful. Spicy fried chicken sandwich was a bit hot without being over the top. Special of the day meatloaf sandwich was a pleasant surprise. Mac and cheese was spot on. We don't always dine when we visit the Estate but this experience was motivation to do so again very soon. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Okay food that is not really worth the wait or the price. Since this restaurant is located adjacent to the Biltmore Mansion, this restaurant was packed on a Thursday at 2, but the wait for 2 people was only 30 minutes. I ordered the chicken cracklin' and brussel sprouts salad. The salad was almost entirely mixed greens and was doused in dressing. In retrospect, I should have ordered the dressing on the side, but the salad would have only been marginally better with less dressing. Most of the "cracklins" were devoid of meat (which also isn't unexpected), so it was like eating crispy fat. Admittedly, it is kind of neat to be eating lunch inside the old Biltmore stable house, but I would recommend you avoid succumbing to your impulsive side (as we did) and choose a cheaper and tastier restaurant while you visit the Biltmore.

Not much for vegan options so we had the only thing available which was the mushroom ragout. It was awesome with nicely cooked and solid savory flavors. The salad was well done too and finished with the sorbet made us so full it was great!' Again a great vegan option lucky
