We stopped in after our candlelight tour. I got the spikes vanilla hot cocoa. My husband got the spikes apple cider and I was instantly jealous. I ever thought I'd like anything with a Jack Daniel's liquor. But I was shocked. They had heaters set up outside, which was very nice.
The Stable Cafe is one of the restaurants on the Biltmore Estate and is the closest to the House. You can make reservations if you know when you will be wanting to dine. The atmosphere is nice here to dine and the service is really great. There are booths to one side of the restaurant, tables in the middle and partitioned sections with a few tables in each on the other side. The Biltmore Bake Shop is a nice place to sit and enjoy a pastry. It is also very busy and the lines are not too orderly. The pastries were very good and we enjoyed them. The service was okay but not very outgoing. They also have a wide variety of beverages, cookies and even serve some alcoholic beverages.
