“This place isn't like your typical authentic Japanese spot. It's more like a fusion vibe, catering to the American palate, which is kinda cool, right? The ribs were absolutely delicious, and those skewers were on point! Everything was just so yummy! ? Though I gotta say, the sushi made with fried rice balls was just okay, nothing too special. But hey, can we talk about the service? It was seriously top-notch! ?“
“I stop here every time I am in the area and this place is amazing. This time was by far my favorite. The service is always incredible and they have a dog friendly patio! I brought my pup and they were very sweet and even brought him a bowl of water while we dined. My friend got the chicken hibachi with a customized roll and I got the lunch chicken teriyaki with a spicy salmon roll (recommended) - 10/10!“
“Visited after running the 2024 Asheville Half-Marathon. We parked downtown and walked a few blocks to the restaurant.Delicious Asian food, wide variety of dishes and tapas.Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff.Itto Pork Buns - ordered as an appetizer and did not disappoint, We chose the Chasu pork which was sweet and savory with a nice blend of flavors from the cucumber and arugula. The buns were soft, moist and fluffy. For the main dishes we order Ramen of course! I ordered the Itto Deluxe Ramen which featured black garlic oil and Chasu pork. My wife ordered the curry ramen which was had a rich curry broth. The deluxe broth was very flavorful and Chasu pork was braised which really added flavor. Both ramen dishes were very good and help replenish my energy after the race.A selection of local brews and cocktails were available as well.Overall a great place for Asian food and casual relaxing dining.Parking: Plenty of parking options near by.“
“I am so glad we found this little place! My fiance and I live in Delaware, but we are moving to Asheville in July. We visited the city last week, and I was recommend this restaurant from the Facebook group, Asheville Foodies. Everything was fantastic. The service was great, atmosphere was awesome, and the food was amazing. My fiance and I eat Japanese ramen every Friday night as a tradition from our favorite ramen place in Delaware. So we wanted to establish a new Friday night ramen spot for when we move. And I think we found it! Such a little gem.“
“This is a great addition to the Asheville area. Everything is super yummy and fresh, including the soups not pictured (each hibachi dish comes with a soup or salad to start). The rolls are substantial in size and delicious every time (the Las Vegas deep fried roll is my fave)! Quick and easy with accessible prices and you don't sacrifice quality. The ambiance is very simple but everything is clean and tidy. Even if you order to-go, everything is served appropriately and packaged nicely.“
“I just went here for a birthday party the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time! They dimmed the lights so we could light birthday candles! And the manager asked us how we liked it. Super fun experience and the sushi was really good!“
“Let me preface with: the sushi here is great, for lunchI'm honestly a bit upset, tonight my roll I got was TINY. I get food here often and usually is fair priced. $7.50 for this roll :(. The hand roll looks giant compared ?. I usually get the lunch special rolls“
“Amazing food and absolute angels here !! I didn’t realize how close to closing we had ordered (I felt so bad but I floored it there) and they stayed open so we could grab our order :’) you guys are amazing 10/10 I will be dining here again!! The food was fresh and hot and so so good just what I needed after a long day !!“
“I’ve been going here since I first moved to WNC over 20 years ago and it has to be the most consistent restaurant in town. The food has stayed the same portions, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is very “refurb fast food casual”. All things I come to expect from an excellent Japanese Restaurant. All the other Japanese places in town are much more expensive and serve smaller portions than Asaka. To get your money’s worth of great prices, good quality, and fast Asian in Biltmore Village, look no further than Asaka!“
“First statted going here in February2024 and I come back weekly if not every other day, seriously. Every time is ALWAYS delicious, fresh, quick, clean and polite. BEST sushi and spring rolls in Asheville hands down. The General Tso chicken is amazing as well. Never been disappointed! The lady that appears to be the owner is so sweet and remembers what we order at this point, even knows my name! I've dined in and got take out. Also bonus, undoubtedly the easiest and quickest way to order online, customize your order, track food readiness and without fees! Very efficient and beyond reasonably priced. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It's 4/9/24, I am deeply concerned... I've ate here the past 8 days in a row it's addicting .“
“Three of us had perfect meals, drinks and an appetizer. The sake and mixed drink menus were great, and the food menu was more Japanese than I knew what to do with and I still found multiple items to choose from. Service and vibe inside were good, too. The Tempura Banana dessert straight up burnt me even after waiting a couple minutes, served way too hot. Everything else was perfect.“
“I came to eat Monday afternoon and I had a pleasant experience. Kacey was very efficient at her job. Got us taken care of when we came in and the food was great. The service was great as well. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town!“
“The flavors of their food never disappoints. Panda Express is right next to this place but theirs is always better and the food is made fresh.I get a chicken teriyaki combo with double meat for around $11. And the portions are huge ! Always some left over.“
“New favorite Chinese Buffet. Dined on a Saturday night and had a great selection of food that was all rather surprisingly tasty for a buffet. Everything from fried crabs and boiled crawfish and prawns to the norms to honey glazed ham. Didn't try the hibachi bar or a lot of the items for dietary restrictions but they had plenty of meats to get my full of $20.“
“The lady was awesome that helped us!! The sauce on the hibachi had great flavor and portions were good also. Steak was cooked perfectly! We got a fried shrimp appetizer (cannot remember the name) but similar to bang bang shrimp..10/10 awesome!!! We will be back when visiting chimney rock.“
