“Some friends had recommended we try Huli Sue’s while in Asheville. This place is a must-visit! Great vibes, delicious food and unique flavours. The mochiko chicken sandwich, the nachos, and the BBQ (especially the ribs) were all awesome. We also grabbed a brownie to go. Will definitely be back next time we are in Asheville.”
“We were greeted warmly at the door, and our server was extremely gracious and provided wine samples to help us choose the right bottle. The raw oysters were fresh and bright, the Big Bowl of Greens was a terrific salad to share. The NC Trout and Pork Schnitzel entrees were flawless. We shared a Black Forest Cake for dessert. In summary, it was a perfect dining experience.”

“We absolutely love this place. We always visit them whenever we are in Asheville. We recommend sitting at the counter. The counter will allow you to be entertained by the staff. We hung out with Derek this time. He is an amazing chef. There's nothing like watching an artist at work.”
“Wonderful for all occasions! Food is delicious and I have been coming here since 2004 …highly recommend it.Parking: It’s always busy in the Village but if you go early and not during peak hours you should be able to find a parking space. If not, walk around the village, there’s lots to see and do.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the side of the restaurant for wheelchairs! Enjoy”

“Everything about this place is amazing. It’s a must visit while in town. I tried the Vada Pav , tomato and cheese Uttapam, and the Gulab Jamun. The buns were light and fluffy, the combo of mint and sweet and spicy perfect, and rose cardamom syrup in the desert was to die for.Dietary restrictions: Things marked vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. There is a disclaimer about peanuts and shell fish may be cross contaminated due to surfaces and shared fryers. I didn’t ask about a designated gf fryer.”
“Fantastic restaurant! The ceviche is always amazing, I typically get the sample, but the tuna is outstanding! Great atmosphere, great service, it’s no wonder it’s a top Asheville restaurant!”
“Absolutely one of the best places for Indian food we have been to. The place is new but the are a sister restaurant to Andaaz in Biltmore. The quality is very comparable and the drinks are a wonderful blend of flavors Eric had the Lamb Vindaloo while I had the Brazino. Both were amazing The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kevin the bartender was great. But don't get confused he isn't Indian. The owner Tony does have a vested interest and personally gets input from the patrons”

“Mehfil is so consistently good. Delivery, takeout, in-person - I've never had a less than stellar meal. And the staff and owners are also incredibly nice. They go out of their way to make you feel like a welcomed guest. It's my favorite place to take visitors because I know the food and service will be on point.Dietary restrictions: Tons of great, clearly marked options for gluten free, vegetarian and dairy free!”
“The calzones here are the best we've had in this area. That fact and that they're less priced than the competition around here pretty much cements where we get it calzones from now on. Not really going to push it since they definitely made the best one so far around Asheville, we think but, they could have a little more ricotta cheese and they'd go from a 9.5 to 10!”
“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!”
“I recently visited the Pillar Rooftop Bar in the Hilton Downtown Asheville, NC, and overall, I would give it a 4-star rating. The highlight of this bar is definitely its incredible view of downtown Asheville and the breathtaking backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The atmosphere is vibrant, thanks to the live band, full bar, and the stylish arrangement of furniture. However, I must admit that the food selection left something to be desired. The crabcake, in particular, was a disappointment, especially coming from Maryland where we have high expectations for this dish. Additionally, the BBQ shrimp wrapped in bacon was served cold and covered in a generic brand of BBQ sauce, which was not up to par.On the bright side, the cocktail menu stole the show. Every drink had a unique and creative theme, making the ordering experience quite enjoyable. It's worth noting that the venue is pet-friendly, which was a pleasant surprise given the upscale decor. However, I did find it lacking in terms of a designated relief area for pets. One minor drawback is that the immediate view of the downtown skyline is partially obstructed by the Buncombe County Courthouse and City offices. Nonetheless, the overall ambiance of the venue, coupled with the amazing cocktail menu, makes it a must-visit spot in Asheville.I do plan on returning to Pillar Rooftop Bar to try their main menu, as the staff assured me that it surpasses the quality of their small plates.”

“The whole experience was wonderful! I loved the food and we sat at the bar so it was fun to see the food as it was made. It is purposely small - so it was like I was invited into a dinner party in a home. Unique drinks, flavorful food and yummy ice cream.”
“Stopped in here on our road trip and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, i had the Pot Roast and my girlfriend had the Stroganoff, both of which i highly recommend. Drinks were also delicious! The service was also top class, felt very welcome and the server's recommendations were spot on (see above).Next time we're in town, we'll come back to try some of the other items on the menu we couldn't fit in our bellies first time around.”

“Had been waiting to try Curate and since we decided to celebrate our rehearsal dinner here later this year. Our server Angelica was so lovely and we really enjoyed everything. It is very thoughtfully done and flavors are wonderful. The pulpo was melt in your mouth! The manager was kind enough to bring us a dessert since it was our first time dining and it was also amazing. Can’t wait to bring family back in October.”

“Shrimp & Grits was excellent. Great flavor, plating was superb ?, sauce added depth to a popular dish. The truffle fries are something you just need to try.”

“Excellent high quality food just like their original Strada restaurant. Here it is more about small plate meals, which can get a bit pricey. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy and higher end with the price point they are at.Dietary restrictions: Very willing to cater to people's needs like food allergens.”
“Finally found the Boba Fruit Milk Tea with poppers I have been wanting! 4 years ago tried Milk Fruit Boba tea on vacation but never found another place that made it similar around home. Just discovered this the other day! Staff were super helpful and answered all my questions. Mango milk boba tea was amazing. I would like to throw it out there and suggest for mango and strawberry flavors it would be cool if you could get tiny pieces of the fruit chopped up and mixed in with the poppers or boba. I can't wait to go back and try the pastries! Had a large beautiful selection of many tasty goodies. Definitely going to be a repeat customer for the milk boba tea. Conveniently located very close to the parking garage at 40 Coxe.”
“All the food is super delicious but I’m especially obsessed with the lamb Frankie and Vada Pav. The staff is so nice and helpful I highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian food.”
“Visited 3/25/24. Omg go to rebel burger if you haven't been already-what a solid food truck this is. My biggest regret was that I ate this burger so quick that I didn't have time to take pics. The process is fairly simple, you order via QR code, grab a drink at Hi-Wire if you wish in the meantime, then wait for them to email you that your order is ready. My mom and I split a rebel burger and an abundance bowl. The only thing we couldn't think of was how to tweak the ingredients while ordering online (my mom initially didn't want the mayo), but honestly upon trying the burger, we both admitted the ingredients included were perfection. That is one good burger and the bun was delicious too. And the abundance bowl was just as good-so flavorful and well balanced. A side/smaller version of the abundance bowl would be an awesome option instead of fries as something to go with the burger (we didn't want fries because we had already had some earlier in the day). It works just as well on its own though and is pretty large so you may find yourself with leftovers. This is one food truck you shouldn't miss.”
“It's always a great place to get fresh oysters. We started our meal with a few cocktails, and appetizers, all very good. Bouillabaisse was very delicious, get extra bread. We will return.”

“Excellent food! Wings are amazing. This restaurant is set up where you order and pay for your food first at the register, they give you a number and bring the food to your table. There is no wait staff. Beer is served and the wings are hot.”

“The food was excellent, service was quick and professional. Anil was spot on with recommendations and anticipated our needs perfectly. Despite being busy, food came out very quickly and everything was delicious.Vegetarian options: Very many vegetarian and vegan options. I had the chickpea saag and it was amazing and very filling.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly labeled and there were quite a few to choose from.”

“Our server Rachel was the whole experience. Chef was accommodating with our requests. When restaurant fill-up and by that I mean 9 tables, the noise level was higher. All in all great experience.”

“This place makes an excellent martini (with blue cheese olives). It's a cool environment, somewhat crowded, but the busy-ness adds to the appeal. I think they shine more in cocktails than in food. The burger is made with American cheese, to its detriment. Burrata was good, and the table tried some small Spanish-style fish. We had another OK pasta dish as well. Less likely to return for a meal but happy to come for drinks + apps.”
“A west Asheville treasure! The sweet potato cauliflower soup was smooth as silk and full of flavor! The confit mushrooms were outstanding and locally sourced! The trout was perfect! I highly recommend trying Jargon.”
“We decided to order everything that looked good and share it all since we were traveling through and likely can't return. We got the gnocchi (amazing) the crispy Brussels (best ever in our lives) beef cheeks (insanely tender and 10/10) pork belly (10/10) sunchokes (good but not exciting) fried chicken (perfect and the strawberry barbecue sauce was perfection!) and the schnitzel (the sauce was ISANE and a perfect dish!). Overall we LOVED this place and the prices were so reasonable! The two of us ate all we wanted and took tons of leftovers home with us. Love loves this place!”
“The BEST lobster we have ever eaten! (And we live in Florida) Must have dinner here when visiting Asheville! House oysters were delicious and COLD.Parking: Parking lot directly across the street that was easy to walk to. It was a paid lot, $4 an hour. Very reasonable parking priceKid-friendliness: Brought our 3 kids under 5 y.o., and the staff was very friendly and welcoming of our kids. They had crayons, coloring pages, booster, high chairs, etc for the kids. They spent a lot of time watching the lobsters and one of the staff members let them “pet” a lobster. THANK YOU!”
“Amazing seasonal fare served at a 'dolce vida' pace. Service was wonderful, and at whatever speed you wanted. Reservations are a must. They have a great wine list too. They also have a "family dining" option for $75 per person which is a great sampling of many items in the menu that night.”

“The croissant was delicious, highly recommend. I didn’t particularly enjoy the tortilla española. It tasted fine, but could have used a bit more salt and was rather runny in the middle which can be tasty but wasn’t a great decisions since it was made several hours before and was kept at room temperature. Service was great.”
“This place is great! Great beer, Great Vibes, great views. A fabulous place to people watch, kick back and have a good time on a date night or with a group of friends. Can be chilly in the cooler times of the year since it is next to the river. Only complaint is that their hours are very inconsistent and it is a crapshoot to see if they will be open past 5pm on a FRIDAY NIGHT.”
“Loved the experience! The dining room is beautifully decorated. The bread that they brought out for an appetizer was really good. I especially liked how they had different types of bread to try. The food was very good too. I got the lobster tails, and both had really good flavor. Everything else in the dish was a very good compliment to it too. The filet mignon was very good as well. Very flavorful. Next time I visit I will definitely come back here for dinner.”
“Recommended by Scott at Weinhaus/Asheville- and we loved it! The entire staff was so gracious and attentive. The moule frites and steak frites were perfectly cooked and predented correctly. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.”
“The best crab cake we've ever had by far. Crab cake is a little misleading in that it is mostly just crab! And high quality at that! Cornbread was pretty good and the club sandwich was delicious. Pretty pricey lunch but worth every penny.”
“Love the Odd. Just had food here for the first time & Rob made me a killer plate of food. He makes his own seasoning & sauces, and I highly recommend this spot for a meal.”
“Wonderful experience here recently with my wife for dinner. The server made superb wine suggestions, plus she was completely attentive to dietary restrictions with regard to menu items & their ingredients. She checked things with the chef for details & worked with us successfully for helpful tweaks for items where possible, while being clear which items could not be adjusted. The menu items were all delicious & we took several items home, enjoying them later.”
“We had 6 people in our group. We got seated right away. Nicholas was an awesome server! He was very helpful with the menu and drinks selection. For tourists the southern sides we got with our BBQ board were great. All the food we had was great and the drink selection was good too.”

“I HAD TOO WAIT 30 minutes before I was even greeted or order was taken they where overly staffed and my order still wasn’t taken and when it was a lovely old lady had too take down on a napkin too get my take out order today while another gentleman came the person who was supposed too take my order she rushed too him moral of the story no matter what we look like we shall be treated the same”
“Employees were really friendly and the cook was great! The food came out perfect for a Waffle House. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. It was a very pleasant experience.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved watching the cook make the food in front of us. The food is definitely kid-friendly.”
“This particular location I usually go to currently has three specific people who are the reason I keep coming back. I know if see Rebecca and/or Royce and/or Zach working, it's going to be worth my while and every dollar I spend. They're literally such rockstars every time I pull up, and no matter the kind of day I've had I know it'll be even better after I see them.Vegetarian options: If you're an "ovo-lacto" vegetarian who's not pious about what's "healthy" or concerned about cross contamination with animal fats, you should be fine here. Just don't forget to tell the server no meat, and they'll understand.Parking: Ample handicap parking, directly next to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are a bigger challenge than I care to see for wheelchair users to enter the building, but I'm optimistic that the staff would be happy to help anybody who actually struggled with the doors anyway for any reason. I'm currently able-bodied so I wouldn't really know.”
“First time eating at this store. Their wait staff were so nice. The waiter and cook seemed to work well together. I felt like the waiter took a little more time than most in making sure we had everything. That we were happy. And i didn't feel rushed at all. I wish they all had help as well as they have at this store. Will definitely be back.”
“This McDonald's on Leicester highway is always and has always been the best one it is the most comfortable the service is the best of who's the best the location is wonderful I love this place like it's homeVegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options but they are there is the I can't really complain too much being is it's a fast food restaurant in it is supposed to be really cheap as it used to have a dollar menu but it's borderline expensive nowParking: You could never run out of parking in this location there's several places sharing a huge lot and there's no way they can all fit in McDonald's if everyone did Park in every space is privacy to hang with your friends or family or whatever you want to do in that parking lot if you wantKid-friendliness: My kid brother loves this McDonald's in they're always really kind to himWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is easily wheelchair accessible in every entrance”
“This place is the best to go to , they are very quick, and very respectful, love the environment, and great employees, and they are always open early and have my food fresh.”
“Place stays busy. Service is good never had any problems. Food was hot when I got it. Always had a good experience with cashier an others when I was there. I would go back and eat again.”

Takeout Restaurants
“We had a nice afternoon on the patio for St. Patrick's day! The on tap beers and cider we tried were really flavorful, and the food trucks on site were easy to order from (and delicious). Great space for getting together with friends and listening to live music.”
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!”
“After coming to Asheville twice a year for 5 years, I really regret not knowing about this restaurant before. Today we decided to stop by and we had an amazing dinner experience. Flavorful, fresh and served with an honest and friendly smile. Deserve the high reviews and a bit more.”
“I'm biased cause I have family who work for this rest group, but this place is amazing. Sooo happy I can now get my okra fries fix without going downtown. The desi salad is fabulous, too.”
“Today was my family's first Crumbl experience. Everyone has been raving about these cookies. This was a fun weekday treat. We don't do a ton of sweets in our family, so we are selective in what we splurge with. This was so worth it and the service was speedy. The people working here were very sweet too. No pun intended ?”
“Food and service are both fantastic – some of the best Mexican food I've had in Asheville. Unlike other places, the food isn't *too* fast – you actually have a moment to take a sip of your drink before your meal comes out. My one disappointment is that they only have a changing table in the women's restroom – FYI men have children too! Granted it's a single-occupancy restroom so I could still use the women's restroom if needed, but that kind of thing can be controversial in North Carolina post-HB2 so it would be nice if they had equal facilities.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, unfortunately they only have a changing table in the women's restroom”
“Excellent food! Wings are amazing. This restaurant is set up where you order and pay for your food first at the register, they give you a number and bring the food to your table. There is no wait staff. Beer is served and the wings are hot.”
“Omg delicious, FRESH and hot pizza at all of your favorite breweries. Our faves are the hot honey and bianca *chefs kiss* We follow this food truck throughout Asheville it’s so damn tasty; five stars!!”
“My new favorite Asheville brewery! Gorgeous space, tons of outdoor seating in front and back (along the creek) and SUPER delicious food. Really friendly staff and on overall upbeat vibe”
“We had 6 people in our group. We got seated right away. Nicholas was an awesome server! He was very helpful with the menu and drinks selection. For tourists the southern sides we got with our BBQ board were great. All the food we had was great and the drink selection was good too.”
“I got drip coffee - a local brew - which was absolutely delicious and hands down 5 stars. I gave the food a 3 star rating because unfortunately the breakfast sandwich was soggy, bland, and frankly inedible. I would however go back and get the coffee again and try something else from the menu. The breakfast brownie for example looked very good.”
“Interesting little spot in West Asheville. Smash burgers and fires were hot of the grill and very filling.Josh was both bartender and waiter but was very attentive.Parking: The parking lot is small, so we can see having to find a spot up the street and walk down.”
“An absolute gem. Don’t let the line deter you — service is quick and the food is 1000% worth it.We loved everything we tried! Every taco is jam-packed with flavor and comes out freshly made. Our favorites were the queso, the chicken tikka masala taco, the Korean BBQ taco & the Thai chicken taco. Too dang good.”
“Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and generous portions. I got the lonchera with ropa vieja and it was great. I have never had escabeche before and now I'm addicted! It was the perfect compliment to the savory shredded beef and rice and beans. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes!”
“This is a locally owned meat three+ restaurant. Breakfasts are their specialty but their sandwiches and entrees are tops.Parking: Parking can be dicey at 12 noon so drive slowly around the block or two if the parking lot is full.”

“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. Shown to our seat then our drink order was taken right away. Beautiful place, nice & quiet. The food came out hot & delicious.”
“I recently tried Taco Temple and overall, it was a decent experience. We started with chips and guacamole, which was fresh and plentiful, with large chunks of avocado. For our main course, we ordered the barbacoa and mahi tacos. The barbacoa had a delicious stew-like flavor, but the mahi tacos were a bit dry. I also ordered the avocado torta, it was quite good! The meal was good but not outstanding. The prices were average for the market, making it a reasonable choice. However, parking can be challenging, especially when it's busy. I believe there's also a drive-through option, which might be more convenient for some.”
“We had a wonderful experience at Fahrenheit Pizza. We brought some family with us from out of town. We had pizza, garlic knots and even tried their cannolis! The food was all very delicious, especially the pizza. And the staff were all very kind and inviting, especially Conrad. (He was the one that sold us on the cannolis) As a pizza snob, this place has inched its way into my top 3 pizza places in Asheville. Cheers!”
“Everytime we eat here it's so fresh and delicious! The staff is always so nice also!We have 6 in our family so it's a good quality for the quantity also. Price reasonable!”
“I started coming here sometime last year and have been addicted to them ever since. My all time favorite is the Almond Crunch...it's just so good lol. Just tried the pumpkin today and I also enjoyed that one. The people who work there are always super nice and answer any questions you might have/give recommendations. I stop by to pick up the Vitamin Spice-C when my hubby is sick too. He swears by it”
“It's fine! It was described as the best ice cream in the area, and that's probably true, but it's mostly vanilla soft serve in various concoctions. Maybe I just didn't know what to get but I wasn't crazy impressed.”
“Granny's is our favorite "Best Kept Secret"!! Awesome cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chili, tater tots and old fashioned crinkle fries!! We always enjoy our food and our visit. Customer Service is tops! dine-in area is small, but they stay very busy with drive-through and carry-outs. Love it!!”
“Great pulled pork and sides. I haven't had anything bad on the menu. BBQ pork is not fatty or greasy. Great tasting sauce.Very clean and organized establishment. Friendly staff. Little pricier choice for fast on the go foods but top quality product. I eat here every time I can.”
“Amazing food for a great value. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, with a great variety of flavors on every plate.Dietary restrictions: Great for a person with celiac disease”
“Wow, Hi-Wire Big Top knows how to throw an event. I stopped by with a friend for A Court of Thorns and Roses themed event and I was blown away. They used their event space, which was my first time in that space. It was huge, well decorated, had it's own bar as well as a DJ for the event. The turnout was huge and the costumes were immaculate. While we were there we noticed posters for a wrestling event they were hosting the next day, so we decided to check that out as well. Another A+++ event. It was the first time I heard about the wrestling event but I was told it happens monthly. It was extremely entertaining, hilarious, and the crowd was so into it. I highly recommend checking it out. There's a food truck on site with burgers, so come hungry. I'll be keeping my eye on the event calendar for future unique events.”
“I had a really good experience. I went with my family and our waiter was gracious and really seemed to be paying attention to what we needed. He didn't push drinks or dessert on us which I appreciated. My one issue was I ordered a half pound burger and it definitely was not an 8 oz patty it was maybe 5-6 ounces.”
“I’ve gotten coffee here on numerous occasions. Everyone is always really nice and they get my drinks out very quickly. Have never had any issues with wrong orders, taste, etc. Highly recommend!”
“Quiet place for a good lunch. I had a good Cuban sandwich and friends tried the empanadas and tamales. It is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a good meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheelchair”
“Amazing experience, but super special as I ran to my car to put my drinks down and by the time I was walking back into the building, someone from Chick-fil-A was walking outside with my food. They didn’t have to do that, but they were attentive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond. The food was super hot and fresh (Spicy Chicken Sandwich Meal) and we enjoyed our meal our first meal of the day while visiting Asheville… Definitely would stop at this Chick-fil-a when passing through again. Thanks Chick-fil-a!”
“Panda has some of the quickest, yet delicious Chinese food I've ever had. The service at Tunnel Road has very friendly people that go the extra mile for you. We have always loved PE and started with the store inside Asheville Mall - their service is slightly less than the stand alone store. No matter what food I get, I love. The Kung Pao is really spicy and very good, but you have to be careful not to accidentally put a whole dried pepper in your mouth. My favorite is the Honey Shrimp. I don't know what they do to it, but it's amazing. In the mall, you're eating right beside kids playing, so it's a dull, screaming roar that makes it hard to hear yourself, let alone a companion. At the stand alone, there's great lighting, great service, and it would be a great place to take a date or a job interview.”
“Citizen Vinyl is one of the many places that make Asheville a memorable place to live and visit. Our area is rich in music history. We are so fortunate to have a fun place like this to enjoy. Try the Rhubarb cocktail.”
“In Asheville to get married and everyone suggested Posana. They were right! The cuisine was perfection in every regard, and the staff made our night even more special with champagne, tasting spoons, and even a signed card! Highly recommend for a top notch dining experience.”
“I had been a patient at Mission Hospital for three days. They brought me in my Easter Dinner and I cried. The pork steak was sour. Nothing they had brought me was edible. I truly sat there crying and my nurse came in and I told her I was starving. She sniffed my food and made a face. She told me then, "you know you can order out for delivery". Then she said that when she was a patient there that she ordered out for all meals. I chose PIE:ZAA and ordered a slice of sausage. It was so good. When the nurse brought it to me she said "Good Choice." My stomach was smaller after not eating for three days but I almost killed that giant piece of pizza. It was a good amount and since I've gotten home I wish they delivered up on Rock Knob! I will go out of my way to go there when I am in town and will recommend everyone who will listen :)”

“Ben is such a delightful human. He is an asset to the establishment and makes you feel instantly welcomed and appreciated. Ben's competence and attitude is such a breath of Asheville mountain fresh air. If you are lucky enough to be there when he is on the waitstaff, you will have a delightful time.”
“We were there to celebrate a birthday...all was great except it would have been nice if they would have offered a cupcake with a candle or something to make the night even more special.”
“Are the drinks expensive? Of course. But the view is just unbeatable and the interior is spectacular Craftsman. Largest fireplace in America - there are actual two- one wood, one gas. Totally worth it.”
“Chicken salad pita tasty. Garden salad sufficient. Line service queue quick. Plus $3.25 water bottle. Diet coke fountain. Portions could have been more for the price, had to satiate hunger elsewhere afterwards. Maybe that’s their grand plan.”
“John F has single handedly saved my first experience at the GPI. My 2 kids and I have traveled across country from Wisconsin to Chapel Hill after packing up my childhood home for a month after my parents passed away. I was exhausted after a 9 hour drive to Asheville and decided to book a room here as a special treat. When we arrived it rained and despite accepting the pouring rain we didn't get any sympathy or help except for John who listened to me rant and bought me a glass of wine. Bottom Line - Thank You John”
“Had a wonderful breakfast this morning. Lora was top notch and brought milk out upon seeing my daughter grabbing cereal. Hashbrown casserole was amazing and I was impressed with what was offered on the buffet (lox and all the fixing).Yes, there are many spots to eat in Asheville, but Renaissance caters to a lot of groups that do not have time to go to breakfast outside the hotel in the mornings. Also, I enjoyed breakfast as part of my Marriott Status.”

“If you want the best food you’ve ever had in your life, go here!!!Ask for Lee, she’s a fantastic server through and through. Very friendly and attentive. We tried everything from appetizers to desserts and EVERYTHING was top notch. Absolutely fantastic.Thank you, NINE MILE!!”

Cucina24

“Went here a few weeks ago for brunch with a friend and....yum.Are we vegan? No. Have I stopped thinking about that chicken sandwich with mushroom gravy? Also no. Highly, highly recommend.”
“Fantastic family owned business!Fresh seasoned to perfection fish.Chips… omg you can tast the LOVE!Don’t forget the homemade sauces!!Great addition to South Asheville.Welcoming Golden Chips with open arms-See you soon!”
“After a great dinner, we walked around checking out different shops and looking for a cookie to take back to our hotel. It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!”
“Had a blast! Great selection of pinball machines, arcade cabinets. They even had ALL the consoles with a great selection of games to choose from. There's a QR code to scan that will break down the game selection by consoles so you don't have to stand there and comb through all the games yourself. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.”
“We ordered a half-gallon of ice through a delivery service. My name is Newt, and one of the staff left the most adorable drawing of a Newt on the receipt. You have no idea how bad I needed the smile that gave me! Thank you guys for always being the sweetest.”
“Take a step back to the food court days! From the four food options we saw today we tried two of them. A little cheese and corn empanada snack from Mikasa Criolla was tasty if but just a tad over salted. We also enjoyed the chicken plate from Bun Intended. Excellently fried and crispy. Sauce was our favorite part of the dish.”
“Great place if you want healthy, plant based food and a calm, quiet atmosphere. I got the Caesar chickpea sandwich and really enjoyed it.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options”
“I was visiting my sisters and their friend in Asheville and was invited to eat at Pizza Mind. My group are all vegetarians, but I am not. They ordered personal sized pizzas with vegetarian toppings. I did get a taste of the Roasted Beets and Cauliflower pizza. It was a very good combination. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a Caesar side salad. The dressing was authentic with anchovies. I'm not a fan of anchovies, but it was so well balanced, I really didn't mind. I ate the whole thing. The Cuban came on a really great bread. I think it was baked locally and was really fresh. The rest of the sandwich tasted good, but a little skimpy on the meats. I'm used to Florida Cuban sandwiches which are plump with meat. I would visit Pizza Mind again on my next trip to Asheville and try a pizza.”
“Rosetta’s is a delicious restaurant with a diverse menu chock full of vegan items. They also have a great selection of drinks and vegan desserts. Unfortunately, since moving to their new location, they have been getting more and more expensive. The fare stays the same but the prices get higher. The food, however, is fantastic. You’ll just feel the hit on your wallet as well as the one in your stomach!Vegetarian options: Extremely vegetarian and vegan friendly. There’s no meat on the menu!”
“Great place to meet up for breakfast. The only reason it's not five stars is that the menu doesn't list the ingredients and our party had a few allergies. Overall, would recommend.”
“Well I am definitely surprised and loved the ginger beers. As all can tell from my reviews I drink a lot of craft beers. This is by far an excellent break from the normal beer scene and wish they were in Florida for those real hot days. Bartender made excellent recommendations. I would suggest getting flights here to get a real good idea of the varying to lavors.”
“Chaunie’s is absolutely the best place to go for coffee! I’m a daily regular that can’t get enough of the coffees and tacos. My personal favorites are the cold brew with salted caramel and house made oat milk, hot mocha, caramel lattes, and tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Just had a truly delightful experience at this restaurant. The chef/owner has the most welcoming affect and her daughter was so personable. I felt like I was in their living room at home having delicious home cooked Thai food. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back.”
“Grade A++ tiki experience. Excellent service. Got three drinks, one a bowl, all absolutely excellent. The decor is spot on. Only issue was music could have been island tropical but was blues. But I like the blues too. Just not right for the vibe for the decor. But 100% recommend anyone who is tired of all the beer to pop in here and escape to Bali hai.”
“Hello my name is Bobbi Nicole and my husband Lional and son Jay had the best breakfast at Wynns! The waitress Lisa and the owner are the best, super nice people. If you hadn't tried the Cinnabon pancakes you must try. Everything was delicious. ❤️”

Contrada
“9.3/10 Easily the best pizza in Asheville. Smaller Italian style pies made with top tier cheeses and great chewy crust. The service is incredibly kind and welcoming. I only wish they were in a larger spot with better pickup parking.”
“Was taking a break from yardwork and wanted a quick lunch. Ordered grilled turkey sandwich. Sat outside and ate the best turkey sandwich I have ever eaten. You must try it yourself.”
“The BEST pizza place in Asheville. My husband and I ate here on our honeymoon and they offer gluten free crust that doesn’t taste like cardboard (you gluten sensitive people know what I’m talking about). The employees were cool and it felt industrial/punk and we were living for it. We will be back next year!Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free crust!”

Bargello
“Bargello was a nice surprise. Located in the Arris (Kimpton Hotel) in downtown Asheville (close to everything Asheville) is the place to go for brunch on Sunday morning. The eclectic menu had just what everyone in our party wanted for brunch. From the classic Cubano, to a delicious take on Eggs Benedict, to Avacado toast and sumptuous French toast, everthing was delicious and the service was superb. Asheville has plenty of brunch options, and this option delivered.”

Rendezvous
“Recommended by Scott at Weinhaus/Asheville- and we loved it! The entire staff was so gracious and attentive. The moule frites and steak frites were perfectly cooked and predented correctly. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.”

Avenue M
“This is the spot to go to when in Asheville or as a local looking for a restaurant who still prioritizes the ambiance and unmatched quality of food. Steph, Ralph and Tony are owners who care and love what they do. Easily my favorite spot to eat in Asheville. Not a bad choice on the menu. Ralph’s knowledge on wine is unreal and def worth listening to for pairing.”
“I loved visiting this beautiful bar for their new Saturday brunch. I had the fried chicken biscuit with pimento cheese, special pickles, and salad. Chef Charlie Hodge's food always hits the spot and I can't wait to try the rest of the brunch entrees. I couldn't pass up the "Kick in the Pants" cocktail, a good brunchy type drink with coffee, cinnamon and rum. They also have a creative selection of "Zero Proof" non-alcoholic choices. If you are downtown, don't miss this brunch! The space is beautifully furnished and you can come for a big breakfast and order it all, like I did, or just enjoy a simple morning meal. Prices are reasonable and if you are lucky, like I was, having a conversation with Chef Charlie might be possible -- he is delightful! Saffron was the server that day and she was friendly, professional, and made the experience really wonderful!”
“Really great service, go in pretty often for a thai milk tea with boba pearls. They are quick with my order and it always taste amazing. They’ve even walked my tea to me the 10 feet because I was in lala land. Amazing to see a family owned space be so accommodating as well as have fun decorations and things to buy.Not sure about the Jesus saves pamphlets but otherwise great space”

“First of all, the food here is so good and unique. We enjoyed our dinner and so did the kids. Second, our waiter, Evan, was very attentive and respectful. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.”
“2nd time me and my wife have visited here for our yearly Asheville getaway. Relaxed atmosphere with very cool bartender. Dog friendly and they have an amazing IPA!! A must visit for delicious craft beer. Cheers!”
“If you are looking for a delicious Italian meal in Asheville, Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian restaurant is the spot to visit! We both started off with side salads: Caesar and Greek. Each table is served complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic. For my entree, I ordered one of the house specialty items: the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken breast used for the dish was MASSIVE and breaded to perfection. My friend ordered the Baked Ziti Penne dish and really enjoyed her meal! There was a small wait, but we got seated within 15 minutes and the food came out very quick. The service was very attentive. If I am in the Asheville area again, I would definitely come back to Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian restaurant.”
“Got two cocktails, which were an absolute delight! I would recommend trying their seasonal. Look at the notes in the description. It's what I used to guide my choices.”
“Was traveling back to SC when I felt the need for dinner and totally on a whim chose this place and it was a WINNER! Bread was spectacular. Crusty and soft. Wedding soup was exquisite. My dinner...wow. Just so well done. Service great. Atmosphere a 10. Thanks for a memorable meal.”
“Great bar any location you visit. This location is their distribution center and has a brewery too. Outside seating and I sides seating. Dog friendly. Great beer selection. I got a double ipa that did not dissappoint. Pricing is on par with other local breweries. They offer snacks and soft pretzels at bar. They have a side food cart that I believe offers hot dogs and nachos. Free parking lot and a good amount of parking available.”

“Solid, tasty brunch. I had the bagel and lox- it’s a perfectly sized portion, with plenty of salmon and roe- and the cream cheese is delicious! I got the Bloody Mary, which was good- the pork rind was a nice addition. My only disappointment was the cinnamon roll my friend ordered and shared. I was eager to try it since it’s famous in town, but it was completely stale. No effort had been made to even re-warm it, and it was hard. I will say that she enjoyed it that way; but being a pastry chef myself, I would never serve a cinnamon roll like that. I hope to try a fresh one and will update my review if I do.Over all, it was a nice experience and I’m looking forward to trying other menu items next time I brunch there.”

“This is such a beautiful place, gorgeous plants, great vibes, and the service is exceptional. Also Emma is such a cutie and will tell you everything you need to know about any brew on tap!”
“Delicious food and the portions were good for sharing! The hummus was very smooth and tasty. There were many gluten free options. This was the first time I had GF pita and it was wonderful!I look forward to returning here on our next visit!”
“Such a fun place with a great atmosphere! Staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and the food was FANTASTIC!!!! I am already looking forward to going back and getting the blackened catfish and more mac n cheese! Don't miss the fries, they are so unique in the best possible way, you have to try them. Also, I am NOT a pickle person so when I say I ate every single pickle on my plate, just know that's an incredible pickle. I could write a novel about the sauces but instead I'll just say each one was so clearly crafted to perfectly compliment the dish it came with, I was VERY impressed.”
“This place isn't like your typical authentic Japanese spot. It's more like a fusion vibe, catering to the American palate, which is kinda cool, right? The ribs were absolutely delicious, and those skewers were on point! Everything was just so yummy! ? Though I gotta say, the sushi made with fried rice balls was just okay, nothing too special. But hey, can we talk about the service? It was seriously top-notch! ?”

Ben's competence and attitude is such a breath of Asheville mountain fresh air. If you are lucky enough to be there when he is on the waitstaff, you will have a delightful time.”
“I love a good dark beer and this place had one that was dark and really smooth, lacking that awful bitterness that some dark beers get. It’s so cozy inside! I love being there. Lots of plants. It almost has a cafe vibe! I would bring my dad there as well as a friend or a date, lol! The staff indeed is exceptional. They know their beers and are so incredibly warm and welcoming. These folks have a great thing going.”
“Came here on a Monday night and found it to be trivia night. Had a lot of fun. The bartender was awesome!!! Nice Irish bar with lots of room. Very clean. I'll be back for sure. We had a couple of appetizers, and they were great!”
“ELDR is Ashevile refined. Accessible to all but off the beaten path. New explorations on the menu are elevating the menu nicely. Primary dinner menu offers diverse flavors, centered around French farmhouse & New American.Great for groups of 2 - 6. Relaxed atmosphere.”

“Excellent. Brought my wife to this unassuming gem years ago for a date night ans we had a blast. They had frog legs and other adventurous delectables then and now that our kids are 8 and 5, I like to expose them to exciting food and restaurants from time to time, so we brought them. Sometimes kids at nice restaurants are unwelcome, so I scheduled earlier in night for the patio (6pm). We showed up 10 minutes early but we were met with smiles and and open table. Beware, there is no "kids menu" here, nor child beverages. However, our waitress was very kind an whipped up some Shirley Temples for them to sip on to feel fancy. The food was amazing, we started with the cheese board and olives - gouda & bleu with crostinis, toasted nuts, and a gooseberry jam - castelvetrano olives in a citrus marinade with blood orange segments and zest. They were great together and the kids enjoyed both - although much to the parents satisfaction, they shied away from the bleu. Next we had the head cheese, oyster mushrooms and pork belly as well. The head cheese is exactly what you would expect (if you go for that sort of thing), a little fatty, but when smeared on the bready toast points it's quite good - only wish we had more bread as it's too rich by itself, but we had more food. The pork belly was the most composed dish, well browned and juicy towers of pork on a pool of nutty/earthy sauce with crumbles of Rye. My kids don't like mushrooms, but I always make them try it again when we go somewhere new, this time was a miss for them but a HUGE hit for me. Brown butter and hazelnuts gave them a crunch and a coating of glaze that left them AND my taste buds dripping. Finally we shared the gnocchi - I had to explain what they were and how they were made to my kids so they could appreciate the dish. Fantastic pillowy bites of goodness with ramp green pesto, tetragonia and parmesan. By far the favorite of the night by all parties. We finished with the whiskey orange chocolate cake and a semifreddo sundae. All of this in about an hour with great service and hospitality in between. Well done on all fronts and one of the best Asheville has to offer.Kid-friendliness: Brought our kids Shirley Temples when they found out there wasn't much else for them. Friendly and engaging, as we as patient with them when ordering.”
“I stopped in today to try their pizza for lunch. I order a cheese as well as a Margherita pizza (wanted to take a pie home for the family to try). On Mondays they include a beer with the purchase of a cheese pizza or burger. It's too bad I was on the clock. Anyhow - Both pizzas were delicious, but the Margheritawas superior. Definitely an American take on Neapolitan style pizza. Do yourself a favor and find a reason to try their homemade ranch! That shiz should be bottled and sold everywhere! I will definitely be back with the wife to try some other menu items and beers. Cheers!”

“Food was great, portions not huge. Pricey, but worth it. Chef came out and asked his patrons how were they enjoying their food....you rarely see that. I would return.”
“Great spot for a vegan meal. As a note, our waitress Victoria was absolutely wonderful. Her service alone would be the reason to return. She was that nice! Enjoy.Vegetarian options: Fab menu!”
“Remember, this is Chuck E Cheese and not some quaint eatery and you'll be pleased. Everything seemed exceptionally clean. The pizza, bread sticks, and cookie were really better than I expected. The app was maybe a little confusing at first, but I think you can learn how things work pretty quickly. The games all seemed to be working and the electronic tickets are nice. Overall, this is a glorious hub of noise and overstimulation with just the right amount of fun and energy expense. I was a little confused when the animatronic Chuck E came out and just looked around, but no one seemed bothered by it. If you are looking for some wild fun and looking for a nap after, this is your place!”
“I’ve become quite the regular here! Staff are super friendly and service is typically very quick. Food is delicious and super reasonably priced for being a downtown restaurant. Plus a dog friendly outdoor patio!”
“This place is delicious! We enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller, Trout and Etouffee. All were, “oh wow, this is so good,” out loud with your mouth full delicious. We will definitely be back on our next visit. Service was great and the vibe is relaxed enjoyment. We sat outside at one of the seven tables, and there are eight or so tables and a big bar inside. Go and enjoy!”
“Spent 3 nights in Asheville checking out the many brewpubs. One World was the only place that we went to twice. Server Jules, his amazing dog Rolo, and the incredible playlist by Jules won us over. The beer wasn’t bad either! Will definitely be back.”
“My husband and I came for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Our server Brendan was wonderful. He was attentive and so kind. We ordered the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The collard dip was incredible. We sat at the window and got to see black bears play in a tree! Dinner and show lol highly recommend this restaurant for food, service, and atmosphere.”
“Not only is this a gem of a spot where you can see records being pressed while you sip on a cozy latte - Cheryl aka the Giddy Chick has taken over Sessions Cafe and made it next level!!! From the Falafel Waffle, to the personal sized quiche, the amazing egg Sammie to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl, the hardest part is making a decision!!! Don’t sleep on dessert either - Cheryl ran the pastry program for the Inn @ Biltmore and before that the Ritz in both Chicago & NYC. Her Cookies! Her Pastries! OMG!!!Pro tip: She also does custom cakes and pies.Vegetarian options: From the quiche (best ever) to the curried cauliflower Buddha bowl to the falafel waffle, Cheryl has got you covered with any dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Options, soooooooo delicious!!!”
“Solid beer, great pizza, and incredibly kind bar staff. They took every precaution with my weird food allergy without making it feel like the inconvenience that it is. Can’t thank them enough!”
“Had the sweet potato noodle dish it was not what I was expecting but really good! I was not ready for the texture it was awesome, haha! The stone bowls were also delicious and served sizzling hot so the mango sorbet at the end was the perfect touch. Great for a fancy date or fun new family experience. Will go back!”

Blue Ridge
“Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet selections. The prime rib was amazing; and the diverse array of salads was amazing. This was our second visit to the Blue Ridge Room. Top quality! I don't remember having to pay $12 for parking though.”
“My wife and I have been coming to the Grove Park inn for over 30 years. We've stayed there, hosted meetings there and just plain visit and have lunch or dinner. Recently, you've changed your rules on parking. I've heard many people comment that they feel that the $12 charge is excessive especially in light of the fact that they were eating lunch or dinner. Several of the people we've talked to have indicated they will not go back and others have said that they will continue to visit the Grove Park inn but will not be buying drinks lunch or dinner. Seems like you're $12 charge may not be the best business decision. I'm not suggesting you change your policy of one free hour, but I feel that if a couple is spending between 50 and $100 for lunch or even more expensive a dinner, that it would be appropriate to waive the parking charge. Seems to me it would be a small price to pay to retain loyal customers and attract new clients.”

Café Bomba
“Food is amazing and service is efficient. Only change I would suggest is to find a way to move those corner tables away from in front of the bathroom lol, I understand the minimal space though.”
“Gorgeous space with attentive and knowledgeable servers. One of my favorite places in Asheville to lounge and savor some delicious (albeit somewhat pricey) treats. The chicken liver mousse was a particular standout and so was the Albariño and the Nero d’Avola!”
“On our last night in Ashville we dined at PROPER. We loved it. Everything was delicious. This small restaurant is definitely run by a good chef at the helm of the kitchen. Flavor First! It was one of the best dinner experiences in Ashville.Bone Marrow was fire. Steak was also on point. Scallops where perfect.Highly recommend.”
“We were there to celebrate a birthday...all was great except it would have been nice if they would have offered a cupcake with a candle or something to make the night even more special.”
“This was our first visit to Luella's, but it will certainly not be our last. We made the trip to Asheville to visit REI and decided to give Luella's a try since it was close by, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was great and the service was excellent. It was a 5 star visit in every way.”
“Chicken was awesome! Took a little while , but was not upset. Bartender noticed food took a bit and provided a discount without us even asking or concerned. Great food! Great service! Will go again when we come back! Awesome place!”
“We went here lastnight for my birthday. We specifically went for the sake and Ramen. It was amazing. The egg rolls were killer. The nachos were salty. The atmosphere was cozy and festive. I can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu!”
“We came here for a business dinner on a weeknight… the staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Menu looked really good too! Wine and cocktail offerings are quite nice. The venue is beautifully decorated, like an old Italian village. The pizza was decent, the bread service was nice. The salad done in a Greco salad was awesome! But that Shrimp Papperdelle was pretty bad! It was watery, had no flavoring, the pasta was overcooked and so was the shrimp. I ended up sending it back. But they took it in stride and continued to provided great service.Overall, I’d definitely return, just try something else next time.”
“Stippednin for lunch without planning and was overjoyed at how delicious the food was. The string bean dish was our favorite. Simple but done right. All of the food we sampled was wonderful and delicious and our waitress Jes was sweet and amazing. Would definitely eat here again and again.”
“I had the Signature Bloomin' Chicken dish with the Outback sauce on it. It was sooo good I''m not even a sauce person but this sauce might change all of that!”

“The food was amazing. We had the Bass special and dumplings and both were delicious. Presentation was great and so was the service. Would highly recommend trying this place out!”
“The atmosphere was fun and the food was amazing. They close at 9 and we arrived at 835. They still took us in and served us. They were super friendly and the food was fantastic!”
“Dinner was delicious! We tried the Mole Molcajete and 2 taco platter with a Al pastor and birria taco. Our server, Nehemiah, did an excellent job making suggestions and brought out a sample of the new mango salsa. It was great! Excellent hospitality. Can’t wait to return!”
“My favorite place to see a movie and enjoy a delicious pizza, salad and great beer that’s brewed right there! Great vegan pizza!!!! Yummola!Vegetarian options: We love the vegan pizza with the soy-rizo, mushrooms and spinachDietary restrictions: Our favorite vegan pizza in town!”
“Somehow well-known, yet still an early walk-in, so off the "local secret" list. In similar balance, the experience is up-scale Asheville casual. Expect it to be a little pricey. Composed, semi-seasonal menu, not pretentiously obfuscated. Good ingredients conservatively elaborated, leaning toward French full-flavor. Service is professional without being stuffy or hovering. If accustomed to fine dining, appropriately AVL-relaxed; if new, not intimidating.-=-Setting expectations after reading other reviews: allow adequate time. The menu favors multiple courses and conversation. Think, "leisurely double-date with a short walk," if going to a show after dinner.”
“Visited in October 2014. Absolutely a must-visit spot. The Funkatorium serves an impressive selection of sour and funky barrel-aged Wicked Weed brews. The place charms with an interior that blends the warmth of a bodega with the conviviality of a German Bierstube. The absence of Wi-Fi was a minor inconvenience during my last visit, though this may have since been updated.”

Capella on 9
“"Capella on 9 rooftop in the AC hotel downtown offers breathtaking views of Asheville from its rooftop setting. The cocktails are top-notch, but the food is decent in taste. Can stop for a quick drink and head out for better food in downtown. Nonetheless, it's a fun spot to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Asheville. “A stop at Walls Wine Bar while in downtown Asheville is a must! You can enjoy a taste, a glass or a bottle of some exceptional international wines. Walk through the gallery to take in the amazing photography of Benjamin Walls on safari or step outside and relax in the open air patio while people watching. While you are there, learn about once in a lifetime travel opportunities; the stuff dreams are made of!”
“Loved my Palak Paneer at Cinnamon Kitchen! They nicely accommodated my health issues with broccoli instead of rice for a small up charge. I was very happy to be able to enjoy this delicious Indian food!”

Bottle Riot
“We stopped in here to have a glass of wine before dinner because it was right next to our hotel. We ended up staying much longer because we were having such a great time! The atmosphere is top notch and so is the entire establishment. They have a fantastic selection of wines, great decor, and a great patio. We also got the opportunity to speak to the owners, and they were genuinely kind and great people! Bottle Riot is also dog friendly which is always a plus. Any time we’re back in Asheville we will make a point to stop here again to support a great local business!”

“Wow. The Filet was delicious, so much flavor. From the starter to the main course, we were both impressed. Plates were literally cleaned so we didn’t have room for dessert. Next time!! The staff was very kind and friendly. That something you remember.”
“This little market has truly become the heart of West Asheville. It's community driven and well stocked .I personally love the bulk area as I'm trying to reduce the single use containers in my home.”
“I had an excellent Jersey Cheese personal pizza with wild mushrooms and bacon that was huge! It will make for great leftovers, too! I also enjoyed a cold Ginger’s Revenge. Everything about my experience was perfect.”
“It was a really nice and chill place. We had a great brunch. They handled our group of 11 with ease. If in the area, I’d go back.Kid-friendliness: Our kids were very comfortable and they made concessions with the menu items to accommodate the kids. They pretty much told us tell us how you want it and we can make it.”
“Churrasco is a fun way to dine. There is something very satisfying about perusing through food choices while dining in a relaxing environment. This is an expensive restaurant for the type of food served. If you are looking for an elite epicurian experience this is not the place for you.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level facility”

“The food was fresh and good ? and we didn't have to wait long to get our food.Vegetarian options: There's an impossible whopper and it doesn't use real meat. It pretty good ?”
“We finally tried their Sunday Buffet and I was very nostalgic. The only thing missing was the pitchers of soda my family used to get when we were little. The pizza and pasta was fresh and delicious. However the salad bar had some sad items in it like broccoli that seemed like it had gone bad. Other than that it was really good and the staff was busy but friendly. We didn't go there for the salad anyway... ;)”
“I had been watching pizza reviews for days and was craving a New York style pizza. I ordered the New Yorker, and it did not disappoint. Sweet tomato sauce with mozzarella and Asiago on a thin crust. I ordered the medium-sized pizza, which was plenty for two. Let's be honest, though. I ate the whole thing by myself.”
“I met girlfriends there for lunch. The menu has everything Greek you can crave. Their Greek salad is the best I’ve ever had anywhere, hands down. My combo Gyro Platter had lamb and so much chicken I removed some and took it home for later. The prize was meeting Jimmy the owner, one of my friends had worked for years ago. Delightful man. Often when I’m out, I will order a large Greek salad to go. Oh forgot to mention the desserts, my oh my, they are divine!”
“I had an excellent Jersey Cheese personal pizza with wild mushrooms and bacon that was huge! It will make for great leftovers, too! I also enjoyed a cold Ginger’s Revenge. Everything about my experience was perfect.”
“Izzy’s is the best! I was actually on my way out of Asheville and left my wallet in the shop. When I realized, I was already states away. They were so kind and actually shipped my wallet to my home in Texas!! Not to mention I had an absolutely fire London Fog latte while I was there. 10/10”
“Best buffet in Asheville. This restaurant is family owned and the food is wonderful, everything. Great salad bar and any meal is the best you’ll find anywhere. We are locals and we go all the time, lunch and dinner. Excellent home cooked food. You’ll enjoy!!!!”
“Really cool little spot in downtown Asheville. My husband has performed here twice and it's neat, very hole in the hole I would call it. Staff is friendly and professional. Punk-ish atmosphere. Not stuck up. Would reccomend anyone check this place out.”
“We had a wonderful experience. It was a cooler day of 77 and we really enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables and playing connect 4.We couldn’t believe how soft and flavorful the snocones were. I had the apple a La mode and my family enjoyed the rainbow. We will be back, thank you.”
“The food is very good. The place is small. I noticed that many people ordered food to go. There's no restroom. The guy who runs the gas station next door WILL NOT ALLOW YOU to use the restroom. We were planning to buy something at the gas station, and he said that it was out of service until a little girl ( assuming she is the owner's daughter) beg him to allow us to use the bathroom, but at this point we decided to go to anothe gas station and buy some snacks, and use their restroom. So, if you are planning to go to the restaurant, keep in mind there is no restroom. Take it to go. Overall, the food was very good!”
“We had 6 people in our group. We got seated right away. Nicholas was an awesome server! He was very helpful with the menu and drinks selection. For tourists the southern sides we got with our BBQ board were great. All the food we had was great and the drink selection was good too.”
“After coming to Asheville twice a year for 5 years, I really regret not knowing about this restaurant before. Today we decided to stop by and we had an amazing dinner experience. Flavorful, fresh and served with an honest and friendly smile. Deserve the high reviews and a bit more.”
“Excellent high quality food just like their original Strada restaurant. Here it is more about small plate meals, which can get a bit pricey. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy and higher end with the price point they are at.Dietary restrictions: Very willing to cater to people's needs like food allergens.”

“My friend and I ate here on 3/10/24 and we had Kat as our waitress! She was AMAZING! I had never eaten here before and she was so sweet to answer my questions and help me decide on what to get (the meatloaf was the final decision. Sauce was a little spicy for my preference). When dessert time came, while she hasn't had them yet, she went and asked someone else there what they preferred. I had a follow up question on the dessert and she asked them for me as well. Another perfect decision. It was the best evening after a lovely day at the spa! Thank you Kat!”
“Awesome place, first responder/LEO appreciative , USA and Irish flags hung proudly. Drinks and servers super! Loved the music and the crowd will be back when we are next in town!”
“We had the most delicious dinner of arroz con pollo (perfectly cooked chicken with the most delicious rice and fried plantains) and camarones con coco. Eman was the most attentive, kind server who gave us great recommendations and checked us on us the perfect amount of times. Thank you Eman for taking good care of us! You’re the best!”
“Cedric's is one of our favorite places to visit when we're in Asheville. The food is always quite good and the service is always excellent. I strongly recommend their shepherd's pie. Don't miss their home made pickles either”
“Delicious food!! Exquisite tastes!! Every bite shared was delicious. ? Atmosphere was busy and seemed a little tight. The only uncomfortable part about the experience was we were not told the check can only be split 3 ways with a group of 8 people. Not sure why we manager later allowed to split the bill 7 ways but not 8 ways as that was the total of us in a group. Friends felt uncomfortable and pressured. Overall be aware it is pricey. Gratitude + plus kitchen appreciation added. Surprised us since it was our first time there. However overall delicious food. Recommend”
“We had a small elopement dinner at the Main Cellar and worked with Jason, Nicholas, and Brit. They were all so lovely to work with and made our dream event happen. They even let us have our dream cake and made sure everything went accordingly! Our servers Creg and Brooke were amazing and honestly helped us out so much! They were very attentive and fun! Our guests absolutely adored them! The Food was amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back to eat here again. The pastry was DIVINE!! love the pastry chef so much. I am a huge dessert person and the sweet Hors d'oeuvres, the seasonal cheese cake, and the cake really enhanced the experience for me. EVERYONE can not stop talking about how good the cheesecake was so definitely give it a try.Overall everyone was a pleasure to work with and if I were to host another event i would definitely go for Isa's Bistro again.”
“Excellent farm to plate fare in a casual upmarket setting. The whole trout is not what I’d ordinarily order, but I took a gamble on it being made well. It paid off!! Good cocktails also.”
“Reminded me of Atlas restaurant in Paris. Every dish was perfect. From the olive tempanade, to the melt-in-your-mouth Mahi Mahi. And the biggest Oysters we've ever seen. Our server's name was Darrin, and he made the best suggestions. Best service. Definitely coming back.Wheelchair accessibility: My mother in law was able to sit at the table with her wheelchair.”
“One of the very best meals of my life. Every bite was filled with so much flavor! A few of our absolute favorites: fermented kohlrabi, cowboy candy,London Fog cashews, wood grilled steak, the Raspberry Beret non-alcoholic cocktail, and Thai tea sorbet. My husband cannot have gluten and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. We had a great experience here and would love to come back next time we are in town!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options are labeled clearly on the menu. Staff can also make small modifications for some dishes to accommodate.”
“We were there after a movie and Leo's was not crowded. We would have liked the food to be warmer when it was served. Our Server Ben was the best...his recommendations were superb....he made it a very special meal....”
“This place started in Ashville NC and now has 20+ locations all over the US. Every time I’m in Ashville for work I eat here! Really great options for some unique dining. I always get the hot honey chicken with Mac and cheese waffles and it never disappoints! Service is ALWAYS excellent, so nice and friendly! Definitely one of my top 10 restaurants to eat at.”
“Absolutely great time this morning. Came for brunch and Daisy gave us the most TOP TIER SERVICE. Friendly, good recs and took the time to chat with us. Will definitely be back because of daisy and the chicken tendies!”
“Fried green tomatoes and blueberry bbq wings were delicious! The smash burger and garlic herb carrots were good. I wouldn’t get the turkey panini again. It definitely needed spinach or a tomato or the blueberry bbq sauce to make it better.”
“Some of the best ramen I’ve had in awhile. Quite a few options and some traditional Asian options as well (eg chicken katsu, poke). I had the classic miso and it was delicious.”

“Good reset from the last place and on its way to becoming a neighborhood favorite. Back to being just a brewery, the has a good selection of English and German styles. Good bar with comfy seats and tables with chairs. Good outside seating with picnic tables. Worth a visit!”
“Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! Adam was our server and he was attentative, kind, and fast! The margaritas were very good and not watered down at all. I'm going to come back and try new flavors :)”
“This is a quick jaunt from my main work location and conveniently located just off New Leicester Hwy. So far, I have ordered coffee once and jessi cakes twice, but I can tell they make everything with love in mind. The bagel was surprisingly good, the brownies & cinnamon rolls are GIANT and meant to be shared. Please give this small business & baker a chance and stop in for a visit!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options in the case and made to order.Kid-friendliness: Small comfy sitting area in the front, bright friendly vibes.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get into the building. Gravel and uneven concrete may still pose an issue.”
“The most amazing food! The jerk is incredible, and the sides are so amazing too. I can’t believe we’re so lucky to have this place in Asheville! Thanks Charlie!”
“I love this place, the people who work in there are really funny and they usually get my order right. Sometimes they don’t call my name when my food is ready or they forget to make my food for a while, but they’re nice about it so I don’t mind.”
“I got the quesabarria and rice and both were excellent. The beef was really tender and the rice tasted like it had been cooked in some kind of broth. I thought the house margarita had too much sour mix and had to ask for napkins and water and fetched my own silverware but will return for the food!”
