Without a doubt the best meal I've had in 30 years of living in Asheville. The duck adobo and Nengswurst were incredible and the service was great. Definitely recommended anyone living in Asheville to try and get a reservation.
Had a delightful evening at Neng Jr's on a Friday evening. You need to make a reservation for this place circa 20/30 days in advance. However, you can get on the waitlist/call on the day and hope for cancellations. The spot itself is accessed not via the main road but down the alley. We had high quality service from very friendly staff. Had 2 cocktails, one whisky based which was perfect, and the other which was the gin/vermouth base which was fine. The whole experience was wonderful! I loved the food and we sat at the bar so it was fun to see the food as it was made. It is purposely small - so it was like I was invited into a dinner party in a home. Unique drinks, flavorful food and yummy ice cream.
