Sorrento's Italian Bistro in Banner Elk offers a gorgeous setting with super nice staff. The portions are huge, like the spaghetti and meatballs dish. The meatballs are great, just the sauce could use more flavor. The rolls are super good too. The Artichoke Fricassee and Chicken Fricassee are beyond excellent, along with the outstanding wine and tiramisu. The staff treats everyone like family, making it the best place to enjoy in Banner Elk. The covered patio allows pets, like Maggie the dog, to join in. The Burrata appetizer, Panzanella salad, and White Pie pizza are all delicious options. A great dining experience overall.
