Black Bear Tavern is my go-to place for top-notch breakfast food in a quanit environment. My coffee is constantly refilled and Lisa makes sure to make us feel at home during every visit. With this being a small establishment, she is sometimes running the show all by herself. But, she is dedicated to making sure everyone is her center of attention and makes time to have a laugh with everyone.
Google did me right! A weekend retreat in the mountains led me to the mountains. They made sure to let us know that dinner Friday evening was on us, so a quick Google search steered me here. I was running late and was going to order a quick carryout, but the warm atmosphere and friendly vibe somehow had me pull up a chair. Soooooo happy I did. I love this place. It's was our first time visiting. We wanted breakfast but, they don't serve bread after 11 a.m. I got the ham & cheese wrap it was really good. My husband got the grilled chicken wrap. Our son got the crispy chicken sandwich. We really enjoyed our lunch. We will definitely be back for breakfast & to try their desserts!
