“One of my favorite places to eat since I moved to Shelby some months ago. Burgers are fantastic--probably as good as you can get locally. Parking is hit or miss, but there are a few places within a block or so, but nothing that is prohibitive. Have eaten here or gotten take out 3 or 4 times, and the food is always good.“

“Very cute place and good coffee but the service is what made it top tier. Both times I’ve been here, the baristas have offered unique drinks catered to my tastes that have been amazing, and have had such passion about their jobs. They work so hard and deserve the world!!! Thank you guys!!! The coffee is also genuinely really good, both iced and hot.“

“Liver mash. What the heck is liver mash you ask?

Come to the Shelby Cafe and find out. This NC delicacy is available in a handful of counties inThe Western parts of the state. We stopped in with a friend on a whim for breakfast. I had no idea I was going to be ordering something
called liver mash. I had the egg breakfast and my son/his friend both had the garbage plate. AdditionallyWe split an order of pancakes because they all looked great. The food was very good, a solid 4/5 but not quite a 5/5. The service was a 5/5 and the bathrooms were 5/5On to the liver mash. You must try. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Shelby, eat liver mash. I can’tSay you won’t regret it but I can say you won’t forget it!:)“
