“Oh my goodness I went there yesterday for the first time. It was such a cute little place and had delicious southern food and the sweetest people both staff and customers! I got the special of the day which was fried pork chops though I could’ve got them grilled but everything fried is better I believe ha ha, I had black-eyed peas and fried okra and it came with your choice of bread either rolls, biscuits or hush puppies and I got hush puppies so it came with three large ones and they were delicious but heck everything I had was amazing! I just hate I didn’t have room for some peach cobbler or one of the other yummy desserts. I will be going back though. And one of the sweet regulars there actually bought my food but I didn’t even know about it until after he had left so I thank him if he ever reads this/ their review/ reviews. They said that he was one of the local fireman and worked for Barnhill Contracting. So again thank you kind gentleman for buying my lunch. And I can say that after only one there once it’s already one of my favorite spots, next time I want to try breakfast though ?”

“We are new to the area and we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary a little early. We had no reservation and walked in on a Saturday evening. Place was very busy and the only sitting available was at the bar. The service was very good. The food was excellent. We definitely will be going back, will call for a reservation next time. What a pleasant surprise to find this gem so close to our new home.”

“We eat here fairly often, it's a very nice family that owns this restaurant, they are kind and fairly attentive. I have never gotten food from there and been disappointed... I tend to only eat chicken fried rice, but it's amazing give them a shot! They do have ample parking with an ATM right in the parking lot also located right next to family Dollar and food Lion so it's pretty convenient, they are kid friendly and have wheelchair access”

Although there's a lot of great restaurants in Zebulon, this one would be good for special occasions and date nights. It can be pricey if you're looking for a steak though, but that's typical.Parking: Parking lot is packed most weekends, so come early or on a off night.”

“Sunrise is a simple little restaurant that serves great food. There's not much seating inside and there's not a lot of parking but the breakfast biscuits are the best. Big homemade biscuits with anything you want.”

“Absolutely loved it. A local police officer recommended it. Very cozy and good vibes. Misty the bartender is super duper cool. There is a diverse selection on tap and I have to admit, each draft selection I tried showed excellent taste. I was even surprised by the mead; something I may have tried once in my life, but it was like a slightly sweet, bubbly wine. I even got a small impromptu tour by the owner who was fun to talk to. Highly recommend, Definitely going back soon.”

“This is a great place in downtown Louisburg. It looks small from Nash Street but its big inside. We went for dinner. Got a seat right away. Staff is super friendly. We got the spinach and artichoke dip. Came with some good bread and chips. Quite good. I had the Cuban sub. It was fantastic. Great flavors. Wife had the Reuben. She was very pleased. Prices are good. Parking can be a bit dicey but the chow is well worth the hunt for parking.”

“This is a good ole no-frills BBQ joint. They have pork and chicken, fried chicken and more. They also have daily specials. I enjoy the fried chicken. Daughter had the chicken tenders. The chicken is quite good. We both got mac-n-cheese as a side. It was decent. I got Brunswick Stew as my other side. It was ok. Daughter got the potato salad which was also quite good. The prices are great. For the money, there's no better place.”

“Okay this place may be my favorite hole in the wall I didn't know i needed in my life. I've been here for two visits and they haven't let me down and will have me coming back to try everything on their menu.My first visit I had the pork chop sandwich and I was expecting what others have served me at different establishments and I was sadly mistaken. This was a thick bone in center cut pork chop cooked to perfection and the size was immaculate for a lunch portion. The chili cheese fries have some of the best chili I've ever had on French fries and they were heavy handed on the cheese which was a plus.The second visit I had the flounder sandwich and fries and I loved the portion size of the flounder and the breadcumb crust.This place is small but the food is mighty, please pay them a visit.”

“Packhouse is some of the best coffee around. The louisburg location is staffed with kind people who are happy despite the never ending line of drive through cars. The coffee is great and also well priced, the treats are made locally and you have to grab a coffee cake muffin any chance you get. It’s worth the drive through wait!”

“Absolutely loved this chicken and BBQ place. While there are many locations in central and eastern NC, this is a North Carolina original. Though it is technically a fast food restaurant, care is taken that customers receive quality customer service. Food is very fresh and flavorful. Expect authentic “down east” vinegar-based BBQ sauce with a distinctive kick. I had the dark meat “snack,” which comes with leg, thigh & one side. I went with the baked beans, and was very satisfied. These are NOT vegetarian beans, as they are laced with pork BBQ, and quite to my taste. The chicken was very tender & juicy as well. Plenty of free parking. We chose to eat outside on a picnic table, to accommodate our dog. Staff insisted on carrying our food outside, across the parking lot to the picnic table. My only suggestion for improvement would be an umbrella over the picnic tables. Two Tesla charging stations on site.”

“Love this coffee shop. I literally live in Southern Illinois and drink only Blue Collie coffee. I buy it or my family brings it to me from Louisburg North Carolina Blue Collie Coffee Shop. ( I have connections) Everyone there makes you feel like your home. They have a great Chai tea, sandwiches and specialty rolls also. The workers there are amazing. “This is alcohol only, no food is served here, not even bar snacks. As long as you're good with that the bar is one of the most well stocked in Zebulon if you just want a good place to have drinks, socialize, and watch some TV. They have a good booze variety. There IS a food truck that comes weekly and parks at this place if you want to eat also, but it's the food truck that's serving you.There's usually a good crowd here on peak nights as well so it's a pretty good place to meet up with new people too.”

“We tried Margarita House Bar & Grill and it was very good. Their menu had lots of great options and the food was really good. I got the Fajita Nachos, my wife got the Carne Asada, and the rest of our group got burritos. Everything tasted great. My only complaint would be we had to ask for silverware when our food arrived and had to wait quite a bit to get it. I chalk this up to how busy they were on a Friday night.”
