“I grew up in this little town and recently started coming back most days during the week, visiting family, and decided to check it out while passing through....out of curiosity.......my little one and I now look forward to coming in EVERY day we come to town. The absolute BEST fried and bbq chicken I've ever had. My little one always gets a fresh slice of chocolate cake. Daily specials are always delicious and they have the sweetest lady running the place that we look forward to visiting with as well. Highly recommend ?”

“The food was very good and our waitress did a great job keeping up with our table. This is probably one of the nicer places around Zebulon if you want a proper three course meal. Although there's a lot of great restaurants in Zebulon, this one would be good for special occasions and date nights. It can be pricey if you're looking for a steak though, but that's typical.Parking: Parking lot is packed most weekends, so come early or on a off night.”

“First time dropping in for a coffee this morning. The atmosphere is pretty chilled ? and the iced coffee I had was good. Overall, it's a nice place to come in and relax with a book and coffee, or you can bring your spouse, family, or friend for conversation.Kid-friendliness: Kids would love to come for some ice cream ? I saw they do serve ice cream as well.”

“My husband and I came here Easter weekend and it was great. The beer is delicious and the staff are friendly and very fast. It was not crowded when we came either which was perfect. It’s nice to have a cool place to go for a beer so close to home :)”

“Absolutely loved this chicken and BBQ place. While there are many locations in central and eastern NC, this is a North Carolina original. Though it is technically a fast food restaurant, care is taken that customers receive quality customer service. Food is very fresh and flavorful. Expect authentic “down east” vinegar-based BBQ sauce with a distinctive kick. I had the dark meat “snack,” which comes with leg, thigh & one side. I went with the baked beans, and was very satisfied. These are NOT vegetarian beans, as they are laced with pork BBQ, and quite to my taste. The chicken was very tender & juicy as well. Plenty of free parking. We chose to eat outside on a picnic table, to accommodate our dog. Staff insisted on carrying our food outside, across the parking lot to the picnic table. My only suggestion for improvement would be an umbrella over the picnic tables. Two Tesla charging stations on site.”

“This is alcohol only, no food is served here, not even bar snacks. As long as you're good with that the bar is one of the most well stocked in Zebulon if you just want a good place to have drinks, socialize, and watch some TV. They have a good booze variety. There IS a food truck that comes weekly and parks at this place if you want to eat also, but it's the food truck that's serving you.There's usually a good crowd here on peak nights as well so it's a pretty good place to meet up with new people too.”

“We tried Margarita House Bar & Grill and it was very good. Their menu had lots of great options and the food was really good. I got the Fajita Nachos, my wife got the Carne Asada, and the rest of our group got burritos. Everything tasted great. My only complaint would be we had to ask for silverware when our food arrived and had to wait quite a bit to get it. I chalk this up to how busy they were on a Friday night.”

“Super sweet and has amazing customer service. I love the sweets you can get from there. I have never had an issue while there. I would like them to be open a bit more just so when I get a craving I can go lol. Small amount of choices but those choices show the amount of love and time that go into them and they’re amazing. Totally worth going and checking it out.”

“This is a very small restaurant and a hidden gem! I ordered a meatball parm sub one day, and a veggie pizza the next day. Both meals were absolutely DELICIOUS!! I will be picking up a pie on the way home as I know my family will love Memo's Pizza as much as I do!”

“Ordered chicken, bulk, and 2 deserts for pick up. Both chicken and deserts were excellent as usual. Popeyes is always more golden, uses lighter oil, seems to drain oil better, and therefore tastes better than most competitors (including Smithfields) at lower carbohydrates & calories.”

“Top notch hot dogs. Homemade chili is the best! Tammy is such a sweet old fashioned southern girl. Always seems to be some local old guys hanging around to add to the barbershop atmosphere. If you like Southern Style hotdogs this is the place to go! Kinda feel like I'm at Floyd's Clip Joint but outside! Please help support this young lady's hard work!”

“I have no complaints about the food really but they forgot my fries. :-(.However, the service was great so it sort of kinda compensated for that. The surprising thing was it was younger people and they were professional and help unlike a lot of other stores with the younger generation. I compliment the staff at t least that day I went.”

“This was the first time we ordered from here it was on a Sunday about an hour before closing. The young man who was at the counter was extremely friendly and nice. Sometime when you go into a restaurant close to closing staff just wants to rush you out and go home. Understandably, as I am sure he wanted to go home also but his excellent guest service didn't waiver.The food was also really good. We will definitely return but much earlier. ?”
