I guess everyone gets a different experience because judging on the reviews, I was a bit skeptical about dining here. I came in around 2pm for lunch and first off the waitress was very prompt and polite! I ordered the chicken parmesean with spaghetti and the lemon pepper chicken with rice pilaf and broccoli. I won't lie, I walked into the Country Pride with very low expectations. Very. Low. As one does at a gas station diner. However, my experience was much better than I expected!Was waited on immediately by Miss Angie who took my order quickly and got my food out. I ordered the fish and chips cautiously and I was expecting the worst (Minced fish paste and nasty bread crumbs) But to my suprise out comes beautiful pieces of whole fish! Very hot and nice! Traveling thru, trying to decide where to eat.. came across the sign along the highway and stopped in to give it a try, 11:45am.
