Hurricane Alley's was the first place we checked out on our first day of our vacation. We ended up going there twice over the span. The top floor is a great view of the fair and ocean. There's a nice breeze and relaxed atmosphere up there. The Southwest chicken rolls were delicious! As were the hushpuppies- make sure to pair them with the honey butter because it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice, has a rooftop bar area that had live music. The staff is friendly, fast and nice to my kids, even closed the doors when fireworks were going off to help with my baby. The burgers were very delicious, peel and eat shrimp was good the cheese quesadilla for the kid was good. The fries were not good since they were overfried or something since there was no potato on the inside leaving a empty shell of steak fires that disappointed us. Top floor has the best view of the beach, boardwalk and amusement rides. This was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in Carolina Beach. They worked with me for substituting chips instead of pita bread for the dip to make it gluten friendly. The afternoon we went was the last Sunday of their summer jazz series.
