“We went here for our 5 year anniversary and really enjoyed our experience. The waitress was super friendly and paced our meal out perfectly.Just about every meal comes with a salad and side. You get a wipeable paper to write down what you'd like on your salad and it's catered towards your taste buds.We got a bottle of wine and each got steak, his was a ribeye and I opted for prime Rib. Our steaks were prepared the right way and when we were done, the waitress boxed our dinners for us. I was very impressed with our level of fine dining. They even signed a card for us and that made our evening. We both enjoyed this experience and look forward to celebrating here again soon.“
“Great place that I wouldn’t hesitate to visit the next time I’m in CB. Attentive staff, good portions, good cost. I can imagine this place fills up quick in the summer time since it’s just a quick walk from the beach. Definitely worth a visit if you’re hungry!“
“Small, but quaint eclectic restaurant with a great atmosphere. Large selection of signature drinks served in fun glasses or pineapple! For appetizer, we had Mahi bites, which were delicious with the Wasabi cream. I had the half a pineapple which was wonderful with sausage and shrimp. I saved the Wasabi cream to dip the shrimp in. My husband had the steak, and even though he disgustedly ordered it medium well, (he likes it like that), it was still tender and juicy with great flavor. The wonton cheesecake with berries was fabulous. Recommended drinks, Hibiscus Pina Colada, Blue Octopus and rum punch. Attentive servers with great personality and service. The owner is very involved and insures you have a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!“
“Great place to get some good food! We had the seafood roll with loaded tater tots, penne Rachelle with shrimp, and the crab dip (must try!). I also had a drink where you can pay to keep the cup but opted out of that. It was a lot of food and delicious! We sat next to the aquarium and we got to see Dory and Nemo. The service could have been a little better as they were not that busy while we were there. We had to ask for our check and the waitress only checked on us once. There is plenty of parking and no need to pay.Atmosphere was good. There are plenty of tvs and a bar where you can watch game or two. Overall a good experience!“
“Solid 4 out of 5 stars. We enjoyed the lobster roll which was $20.99 and it was worth the money. Friendly staff, and definitely a locals place for sure. Had to pay for parking but overall quite happy with my decision to eat here.On a funny note, there is a sign that says “friends don’t let friends eat imported seafood” and on the chalkboard it said the crab was from Canada. (See pics) haha!Would return“
“Appreciate being able to bring our dog and EVERYONE giving him attention- the homemade dog treats were hit with our pup! Food is always wonderful - we met Jane today, what a wonderful addition to the wait staff! She gave excellent suggestions, very engaging in conversation and was just an overall delight to get to know! “
“This is hands down the best meal we’ve had on the boardwalk lately. Delicious food and wonderful service. Fried chicken sandwich was amazing, they actually use fresh chicken, not precooked frozen patties like most places. My oldest got the smash burger and said it was the best burger he’d ever eaten and despite only being 9 he knows his stuff. We will definitely be returning!“
“Unfair, perhaps, since I've lived here for over 15 years....but it's our Go-To-Breakfast and sometimes Lunch. The long term Wait Staff (some over 20 years) are "ON IT!" and Dependable. Sometimes that is just as important as the Food. It's our Islands place to see and hook up with neighbors and Friends. Come and join in.“
“Olde Salty's is now the new Salty's in the boardwalk! It moved! We were walking by and checking Yelp, but could not find Salty's in Yelp. We decided to take a chance and went in. Don't let the dive bar look for you. The food is excellent! My wife had the citrus salmon and I had the blackened catfish. Oh my! Two huge catfish fillets. The servings are definitely healthy. And both meals were very, very good. Both my wife and I were very surprised at the quality of the food. The food came out incredibly fast. The bartender was so nice and helpful. Even loaned us an adapter to charge my wife's cell phone. Definitely a place that we will be back to the next time we are at Carolina beach. I want to try the shrimp boil next.“
“I’ve been going here for years and this is by far the best bar in Carolina beach! Such a great time every time. They have live karaoke and great vibes. And recently they’ve improved, adding new drinks and better staff. If you’re in CB, you have to stop by here if you are looking for a great time. Highly recommend!!“
“Top floor has the best view of the beach, boardwalk and amusement rides. This was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in Carolina Beach. They worked with me for substituting chips instead of pita bread for the dip to make it gluten friendly. The afternoon we went was the last Sunday of their summer jazz series. Great music!Dietary restrictions: Will work with you for gluten free options.“
“Took a bit of time to get through to them on the phone, but well worth the effort.Directions provided were easy to follow, and everything was hop out of the pot fresh.Ordered enough for 3, and we ate it all, no leftovers!Great local seafood in an easy, self-cook at home style.I even brought home my cooking bucket :)“
