The food is always awonderful and I often times have trouble picking a favorite. The braised short ribs are too die for and melt in your mouth. I usually sit at the bar and Becca makes great drinks and handles her bar service with effortless grace. This is a must stop neighborhood gem!

I had the pleasure of trying the baked Brie as an appetizer, and it was simply divine. The side salad portion was incredibly generous, and the steak dish was cooked to perfection, complemented by a delicious medley of vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes. This restaurant truly delivers on both taste and ambiance, making it a must-visit for any food enthusiast.As a side note the fire cracker shrimp was not that exciting and the old fashion drink was really watered down.Parking: Parking spots available in front of the restaurant

The roast beef sandwich was super yummy, as was my dessert....the chocolate, bourbon, pecan cheesecake! I'll order the exact same meal next time I go back. My daughter enjoyed the Caesar salad with grilled chicken very much, too. I've had their short ribs in the past, and they're delicious! Service is very friendly and efficient! I've dined here several times, and they never disappoint.

My wife ordered Braised Beef Short Rib for the both of us. We were excited because we’ve been looking for a good braised short rib for a while. Unfortunately, this was not it. The meat was dry, unseasoned, and the texture was rubbery at best. The menu also claimed that the dish had a red wine just over the meat, it absolutely did not. At $36 a piece for two dishes, we were very disappointed. We will not be ordering from there again.
The food was great. Mussels, ahi tuna and fruit di mare was excellent. Great service, dogs are welcome. Definately suggest this place.

Very good selection of food and drinks. The atmosphere was very pleasant and a good place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. We received great service and everyone had a smile and worked well as a team!

I don't understand the 4-star average rating. I've been to this place twice in the past 18 months. Both experiences were similar. Food was just slightly above average and the service was straight up awful. I went with a buddy for a late lunch on a Thursday. There was probably 10 customers total in the restaurant and it took the server about 15 min to come take our order after sitting down.

I brought a friend here for lunch the Monday following Thanksgiving 2023 and the wait staff were rude, dismissive, and full of bad attitude. I ordered chicken salad, and it tasted like old left-over turkey, so politely I asked the wait staff what kind of spices the chicken salad had in it and was told in a very flip and dismissive manner it had only mayonnaise and celery (it had a putrid taste to it ... like I said, old meat). The awful lunch and terrible service surprised me because I had been there earlier that year and the experience was completely different. Because of this, I cannot recommend Academy Street Bistro any longer.
