“We were visiting Raleigh and noticed the highway sign with the restaurants logo. We looked it up to check reviews and decided to try it. My wife had bistec de pollo, and I had the masitas de puerco. We were very impressed with the quality and taste. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice, but the seating could be better to be more comfortable. This is a great place if you're visiting Raleigh and have a taste for Hispanic food. We're willing to travel 2.5 hours just to eat here. It's a must!“
“The Cajun catfish was fresh and it was great. I also had the cabbage and collards which were decent but the catfish was definitely the star! They do not have table service but you are able to sit inside after receiving your food and enjoy it while there. The restaurant was nice and they had that good ole gospel playing in the background. I would definitely recommend the Cajun Catfish!“
“I have always wanted to try good Jamaican food. This is a small business with a great menu. I asked some customers what was good and the Brown Stew Chicken was recommended. I also got a Jerk Chicken Patty. One of the other customers recommended the brown rice and peas. They also included cabbage with carrots. The flavors were amazing. I can't wait to try other meals.“
“Good Jamaican food, generous portions. I had "jerk chicken meal" take-away and really enjoyed it my meat, rice, beans, cabbage and plantain. Me & my two friends all enjoyed our food. Can't really rate the place for atmosphere because it was a Saturday night and they were only open for take away with no explanation why no table service. We enjoyed our take out at the local cidery.“
