Love the food! Customer service is always a hit or miss. This particular experience has me second guessing visiting ever again! I ordered a salad with chicken I received steak. The dressing was bad with chunks of a foreign substance that no one knew what it was! By far thee worst experience!

Incredibly disappointing experience tonight. I eat here 2-3 times a week because the Tuna Poke Bowl is amazing. Customer service is always hit or miss (willing to overlook due to food quality) but tonight is a true testament to serious mismanagement. As eluded to by other posts, this specific location consistently closes earlier than the posted times both on the front door (9:00 PM) and online (8:00 PM). I arrived around 7:50 PM (still under the assumption the closing time was 9:00 PM as posted on the front door) and waited at the order station. There was nobody to be found, so I went to the register to see if anyone was in the kitchen. After a few minutes a woman came out from the back, looked at me, and says “the door was locked, not sure how you got in here but were closed”. No name, no actual communication, nothing. I proceeded to be herded out of the store, and when simply asking when the new operating hours were was just told “you can speak to a manager if you need to” as if me asking somehow insinuated confrontation? I have no idea what this persons name was as there was no formal greeting, but I would highly encourage upper management to check in on your staff. I would gladly have left with no hard feelings if it had simply been communicated that hours on the door were not accurate; I’m not a “last minute to the restaurant” kind of person and assumed over an hour was left before closing. To the staff member who basically spoke to me like a dog, I would remind you that while there are definitely stressors working in customer service (I’ve done it for 15+ years) basic human decency is still possible. The respect I showed you tonight was not reciprocated even slightly, and that interaction should have gone way differently.

Update (10/21/21) I appreciate the company response and that they made the mistake right. I updated my review from a 1 star to a 3. I don't feel like it would be legitimate to go to a 5 given the situation.I placed an order for pickup. They forgot one of my items. I understand mistakes happen so I called to request that I be refunded for the item that was forgotten. When I called, I first spoke with someone and told them what happened. Without saying anything, they handed the phone to another person. I repeated why I had called and she said “I’m going to have to put you on hold. We have a real long line here” with an attitude. I said “sure, no problem” but after being on hold for 15 mins without a single check in or update by the representative, I ended up hanging up and eating my money as lost. Poor customer service.

I want to like this place but the inconsistent availability of simple toppings like chic peas, black beans and edamame makes it challenging. Not only that, the store regularly closes 10 minutes before their current 8:00 closing time so half the times i come by after the gym they already have the doors locked. If I were the owner I would want my employees focused on maximizing customer service and profits over getting out early from their shift.

Absolutely horrendous. I had the tuna bowl and I have not idea how they mixed these ingredients together. Also had a SW chicken taco: so bad and dry (while dripping sauce the chicken was so dry). And I asked the lady what’s your popular dishes. I can’t believe this is true

This is a bowl place with fair amount of toppings to choose from but with no particular theme. If you know what you want, you can get it and they do have pre-defined bowls but it's all over the place -- from Korean to Southwest. The flavor of Southwest bowl is not particularly good. The chicken is dry and it's clear why - they have pre-cooked chicken breast on a warmer, they take it out when it's needed and grill it to warm it up for a minute before serving. This is not nearly as fresh as other places where they cook it in small batches and not have food sitting in a warmer to dry out.

Waited 45 minutes for a salad that I didn’t get!!! Tonight they are out of most of their ingredients. They didn’t have the majority of their proteins available. Customers are just walking out because there’s nothing that they want left. The salads are very good here. However, when you’re paying $13-$17 for a custom-made salad you’re expecting that all of the ingredients they offer on the menu to be available. The manager was very nice and apologetic.

I love this place. I eat here often. I like the variety of options and the ability to switch things up to make different combinations. The best part is there are next to no gluten-containing items (just taco shells, and bread that I've never actually seen anyone order but I am sure they do). The staff is knowledgeable of cross-contamination and the various allergens in their offerings. It makes it a go-to for my boyfriend (who is lactose intolerant) and me (with Celiacs). I highly recommend it. My only negatives would be that they are often understaffed and I feel bad for the employees. Also, their credit card machine does not work properly almost every time I visit.

I love all the salads here and always get the southwest chicken...the best. Unfortunately, I won't be going back here due to the service. Most are nice but I have had an issue with one of the workers (girl, big fake eyelashes and long fake nails) two times now. The first time, I ran in after the gym without my glasses on to get a salad. They were out of Romain so she said "pick a different lettuce" I asked her what she would recommend to supplement Romain and she said "literally pick one of these lettuces it's not a big deal" and I told her I can't see any of the lettuce names on the containers and she said "look with your eyes". I was so put off I said "I wear glasses and can't see anything but thanks anyway" and walked out. Today, I just went in to get a salad (was wearing contacts) and I got a lemonade. She was stocking the cups under the lemonade containers. She scoffed at me when I walked over there and would stand inches away from me whenever I moved to get out of her way without saying a word. It was sooo bizarre and rude. I never leave reviews but this has been twice with the same woman so felt it was worth noticing.

Delicious food and super friendly staff! I ordered the Sriracha Ginger Tofu and Quinoa bowl and washed it down with the fig vanilla drink. SO good.

Food took 20 minutes after waiting in line for 15. Not prepared correctly.

My husband and I don’t normally post reviews, however our experience at this restaurant was disappointing from start to finish. Especially in terms of customer service. We were the only customers in the restaurant and yet the employees ignored us for so long that we almost started to leave. When we finally were helped, our orders took sooo long to be made and came out wrong in multiple ways (even after the employee wrote down our orders on a napkin just to be sure). The food was mediocre and did not seem fresh or quality, so it was way overpriced. Almost all the patio tables were crawling with ants. We tried to be positive throughout our visit but we will not be returning.

In a word....unfriendly and totally unmotivated staff. My goodness....You are the first impression that people are introduced to when they walk in the building. Attitude is everything. It sells the food, the restaurant and the ambience. On my last and final visit my husband and I waited for over 6 minutes to order. Why ? Because the employee was at the other end of the counter filling a take out order. Wouldn't it have been nice if she would have look up and just said "Welcome to Corelife.....I'll be right with you."...No, she ignored us. When we were finally graced with her presence (still no smile or greeting).... I ordered the chicken caesar salad. She tossed two leaves of kale along with 4 leaves of romaine in the bowl along with a few cherry tomato halves and avocado.....you're kidding, right? My 2 year old couldn't fill up on that. Needless to say, we paid $32 for two small salads and two drinks and honestly, left hungry. My husband got extra meat on his salad which must have driven the price up tenfold but still not worth the price we paid, especially for lunch!! On a more positive note, the food at Corelife is really good (what you get of it) and the selection of healthy drinks are also delicious. I love the decor and the fact that they have outdoor seating. I could possibly look over the small portions if the employees were more friendly. We will not be back at this location.

Wonderful visit! The person working there was patient and easy to follow as she explained. Most of these new places are very cultic to many over 50 folks and they don't have patience or take the time to help. So we generally don't frequent these places. So, thank you young lady for teaching us how to order in your establishment.
