The food was overall extremely delectable! I would 100% come here again. The stars of the show were the lamb skewers, pop stickers, fried golden buns(mantou), and the fried egg plant. The owner was extremely nice and we got our food relatively quickly. Beautiful artwork walls and as a plus, there was a Chinese food channel tv :).Vegetarian options: The spring rolls and all the vegetable skewers (cauliflower potato etc)

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm glad I was finally able to go! This is a great Chinese BBQ place tucked away in Cary. We frequently go to Chengdu 7 in the same shopping center and were curious about Door to Door each time we left the parking lot.We came on a quiet Wednesday night for dinner. We ordered the fried buns, french fries, garlic eggplant, beef tendon, wingettes, beef ribs, pork belly, chicken gizzard, and lamb leg. They also give you a basket of peanuts to snack on while you wait for your food.The meat skewers are seasoned with a typical Chinese BBQ seasoning blend that is heavy in cumin (perfect!), only a tad bit spicy, and allows you to appreciate the flavor of each meat. I personally would like a bit more salt in the seasoning, but my partner thought it was perfect. The pork belly and gizzards were my favorite; I'd highly recommend them! Everything else was great. It reminds us of our favorite Chinese skewer place back in Dallas.This is a great place to have a casual dinner. The meats go perfectly with a cold glass of their draft Sapporo. We look forward to trying the oysters and lamb kidney next time!

First time visiting Door to Door. I’ve seen great reviews online, but to me it was too salty, same seasoning on everything except the preserved duck egg and tofu. As you can see in the pictures, all of the meat/seafood are seasoned with same salty, heavy cumin seasoning. I don’t mind the seasoning, but not on everything and so much of it! We ordered #1-5, #8-10, # 17 #S32 and #C1. Honestly I think it’s kinda expensive too, one skewer with maybe 4-5 pieces small meat cost 2.99+ each skewer. The only food I like is the preserved duck eggs and tofu! That’s really good! It may look simple but the taste is amazing! staffs are pretty good very friendly. Atmosphere is really nice.

Thought it would be more traditional where you could keep on ordering and drinking but that didn’t seem to be the case for us. Tried my brothers pho was VERY FLAVORFUL. Will be back though great little spot!
Really cool joint to go with friends on a weekend get together. The decor kinda mimics the street stalls. Service was great and prices were reasonable. Lots of proteins and veggies to choose from. However, the seasoning is very similar so after about 5 sticks it starts tasting the same. It's a tasty, cumin based seasoning but can get linear after a while because of the salinity. We also ordered the short rib pho which was impressive. The rib was tender and portion is decent so def worth ordering if you have a group. All in all, an enjoyable spot with good vibes.

I love how new specialized Chinese restaurants are popping up. The ambience reminded you of Izakaya bar in Asian countries. Service was great and prompt. Food was so good, and you can try different skewers to your taste. Great place for night out with friends and feels like you're enjoying nightlife in China.
