“This is a great BBQ Restaurant with excellent service and selection. Although the prices were a bit high, we were not disappointed with the portion sizes or the great service. They do a great job of taking your order as you come in, before you seat yourself, so the process is quick and efficient. The food came out quickly and was perfectly presented. The brisket, fried okra, potato salad looked spot-on and delicious. We also ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and were delighted by the portion size (though they had a bit too much breading and were sliced a bit too thin to allow for the flavor or the pickle to be enjoyed over the fried breading).The brisket had was a good portion, and had a bit of fat to provide a good amount of moisture, but parts were a bit dry. The fried okra was very good with a mustard dipping sauce. The potato salad was quite good as well.“
“This place is the destination after you've reached your destination. Famished, after a long mountain hike, pop on in for an ice cold brew and a breakfast lunch and dinner burger! It's 3 meals in one and I didn't even get the fries. I got the John burger, which was collosal, burger patty topped with brisket, cheese, and onion rings! It's everything you want on a sandwich and then some more goodness! My wife got the steak quesadilla which was amazing and pretty sure made with homemade tortillas. We also got chips and guacamole. The chips were those really good fried chips and the guac was fresh and made with love! We got a side of Mac and cheese skillet for the kids topped with bacon. Everything was spot on deliciousness and I'd highly recommend it all. Wish I would've gotten a hat to rep! Great job! “My sister and I stayed at one of the spa suites . They are awesome . This was for my 70th birthday and it was such a memorable experience. The room was spacious and had a balcony. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend this inn for a great time.“
“Had occasion to dine here while driving through the area. I have to admit that my taste of BBQ tends to be more Georgia and Texas. But I have to admit, this had a great taste to it, the brisket was smoked very well and had a great flavor. the chicken was better than the brisket. The only let down was that both were a tad bit dry so I put a small amount of sauce on a couple of pieces. The sauces are a let down compared to the flavor of the meat alone, so I choose to stay with the meat and drink more Sweet Tea. Sides were Tater tots which were actually cooked correctly, nice and crisp, not soggy or over done. The coleslaw was fine, nothing bad or great. Overall it was a great meal. The meats were GREAT!“
“Sandwich shop in a farmers market with outside picnick tables. Food of exceptional quality. Top few Cuban sandwiches I've had and I've tried at least 50 different versions. Best was at an authentic Cuban place in Florida but this one was right up there.“
