“Great large indoor and outdoor area that is pet friendly. We tried a few beers that were good, not spectacular but good. We had the Brussels (really good!) and the smash burger (okay). We got to be out for the eclipse which was awesome after a great local hike as well. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“Very Good Mexican Food in Cashiers. The place has a very large menu, with a wide variety of choices--all at reasonable prices. I think the most expensive thing on the menu is a steak dish at like $15. Most choices are in the $8 to $9 range. The service is fast, so everything comes out hot. There is a full bar and their Texas margaritas are the best!”

“Cashiers offers a number of good restaurants, though some may be closed in the off season. If you don't want to drive to Brevard Cashiers has options. The Ugly Dog pub is a great choice. Good food served fast. The place was not crowded in March. The manager made the rounds to check on us. My wife needed gluten free. They don't have GF bread ? but they offered to give her the sandwich on the plate, no bun. They have a full bar with two big screen TV's over the bar. If you are in the area and don't want a chain restaurant, it's a good option.”

“At this Starbucks, the service was exceptional, with Ariana’s top-notch skills crafting a delicious cappuccino, perfectly sweetened with Splenda. Karly greeted with warmth, making the experience superb. I also enjoyed a delicious peppermint mocha with less sweetness that was absolutely delightful. Highly recommended.”

Order took a long time to arrive and two tables that came in after us received their food first. Server was much more attentive to the other tables. I wouldn't stop here again on my way through but wouldn't advise you against it.”

“This place is the destination after you've reached your destination. Famished, after a long mountain hike, pop on in for an ice cold brew and a breakfast lunch and dinner burger! It's 3 meals in one and I didn't even get the fries. I got the John burger, which was collosal, burger patty topped with brisket, cheese, and onion rings! It's everything you want on a sandwich and then some more goodness! My wife got the steak quesadilla which was amazing and pretty sure made with homemade tortillas. We also got chips and guacamole. The chips were those really good fried chips and the guac was fresh and made with love! We got a side of Mac and cheese skillet for the kids topped with bacon. Everything was spot on deliciousness and I'd highly recommend it all. Wish I would've gotten a hat to rep! Great job! This is part of a complex of three restaurants, hotel and spa. We only had time for lunch but would like to have toured the rest. Highly recommended when you’re in Highlands, NC.”
