Cherry Pop's Soda Shop is THE spot to visit in Catawba, heck, all of NC if you want that retro flair! The food is immaculate and makes you want more. The drinks, sweets, and other baked goods are out of this world and out of this time. Everything is perfect; I have never, EVER been served something I don't like in my many visits to Cherry Pop's. Came in at 3pm on a Monday. This was a fun little spot. It was a little out of the way of Hickory in Catawba but if you're in the area I'd stop in. I ordered the soda flight and got the cantaloupe and melon, blue curaçao, cotton candy, poly juice potion, Coca Cola, and habanero lime. They were all really good! The waitress was also super nice. The price for the flight, which was a lot of soda, was only 6$! I'd recommend this spot if you're in the area.

We absolutely love this place for a good old-fashioned, soda fountain experience! Atmosphere is so nostalgic, service is super friendly and treats are delicious! Our favorite place to stop for ice cream and to bring visitors! We come back again, and again!
