I'm from Uniondale New York, I grew up with a place called Gino's pizza, it was a mom and pop pizzeria ran by an old Italian couple. Gino's pizza is the standard that I hold all other pizza to. So finding amazing pizza, that harkens back to the amazing cheese and tomato sauce that Ginos had is difficult.This brings us to Magones. I got a large cheese pizza from them (been a customer for years but never got the pizza) and I'm not kidding, the cheese and tomato sauce was so reminiscent of Gino's pizza I almost got a tear in my eye. Amazingly good pizza. The only other pizza that comes close is Randy's and I find they don't use enough/good enough tomato sauce for their Pies.I don't know about the low reviews but I'm telling you, as a new yorker pizza snob, this place is the real deal when it comes to classic thin crust pizza. Also has amazing Italian meatballs, something else that is hard to find good in the south.

First time customer and last time customer. The food sucked. One of the worst meals I have ever eaten. Because the restaurant are so cheap. They put my hot food with liquid and sauce in an Aluminum pan with a paper cover. It spilled all over the bag before I get it home. The chicken breast was inferior quality because it was very fatty. I paid 55.00 for all noodles hardly any meat. I hope I don’t get sick. Don’t know how they got 4.5 stars. I give them 0 stars. Don’t waste your money!
