Place was clean and like someone else said the pizza smell is amazing. I got me a milkshake which it was wonderful, but OMG it was wayyyy to much $$ for just a cup. Hopefully they will fix that price.
The owners and workers of Cafe 49 are by far the nicest people we have ever met at a restaurant.They are so kind, polite, helpful and generous not only in their demeanor but in their portions of ice cream, condiments and additional items like cutlery as well.They are so giving and just have the sweetest and most welcoming energy about them. The food was great and the vegan cheese wasn't gooey. The vegan meat alternative tasted pretty good. Not the best vegan pizza I've had, but it's hard to compete with Vegan Chicago pizza. We ate the food too fast to take pictures. Next time, we will take pics.
