“Amazing service. Get to that in a moment.
Had dinner with 14 colleagues. We ordered several apps and soups. All delicious. Our dishes arranged from vegetarian to gluten-free to pad Thai to shrimp, chicken and beef. I originally ordered the firecracker shrimp. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dish came out lukewarm, shrimp a bit tough and it lacked flavor. Our server, Upon sharing with our server, Trinity, she immediately removed the dish. I replaced it with spicy chicken. It was hot and packed with flavor.
Trinity offered exceptional service, taking care of our group. We never had to ask for refills. She was engaging and we enjoyed her wonderful personality. Well done, Trinity!“

“Rainy day eat out. Looks much like last time we were here, which was too long ago to remember when it was. Selection is good. Prices are fairly good for these days. Food was very good and9 they give good portions, no complaint there. Would rather of had a booth, table height seemed a bit awkward. Waitress was quite good and timed a refill, just about perfectly. Order was accurate and didn't have a long wait for plates to hit the table. Fairly quiet, but then I don't hear well, so almost everyplace is fairly quiet. I would easily recommend P.F. Chang for a nice dining experience. We should go hear more often and do steaks less.
One fly in the ointment is the horrid, atrocious parking situation. Definate shortage of parking spaces. We luckily found an excellent parking space, but that was right place at right time sort of thing.“

“Now I've never been to China, but if this is what it tastes like, I think I'm going to schedule a trip. This was a lovely experience! From the moment you walk in the door, you're immersed in beautiful Chinese culture and decoration. The staff is very friendly. Be warned though that everything is family style so it's going to be big portions. meant to feed two or three people. if you're just a single person or a couple I would suggest you only get one dish and a few appetizers because that's what we did and we were not disappointed! The crab rangoons are probably the best I've ever had, they weren't sweet and nasty like you find on a lot of little buffets and things and the wonton wrappers were handmade. We also ordered the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious. You can even tell that the sauces are fresh and either hand made or hand selected. They certainly didn't taste like anything I've ever had from a jar. We got the garlic shrimp which was fantastic and we got the hot and sour soup as well. Even the chicken and the hot and sour soup was tender in Delicious. Absolutely everything was handmade. this house made broths and seasonings and sauces. You could throw a dart at the menu and I guarantee what you would have landed on would be delicious. Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had.“

“The food was awesome. And fair prices too. My grandson ordered sushi and a noddle dish, I had beef and broccoli. He had ice tea, and I had water or bill was $43.95. It was the best beef and broccoli I had it was served with a large bowl of white rice. I will go again on my next visit to Charlotte “

“Best Chinese food we've found in University area. Always freshly made, never had anything we didn't like. Lunch combo plates all under $9 and very generous portions..enough for 2 people to share. We get takeout here often but they offer dine-in also.“

“A family favorite for many years. Was back in town after a few years and went there for dinner takeout. Quantity and overall taste was good - a little bland and too saucy.
Took a few points on service as the take out guy gave me grief about requesting fortune cookies and utensils.“

“Never been an egg roll guy but gah damn I ate the whole thing. The sesame chicken could’ve used more sesame seeds but the taste MORE than made up for it! I got the plain lo mein as the side and it was delicious covered in the sauce from the sesame chicken. 10/10 Chinese food“

“Super delicious, authentic, and great owners!!
If you want sugar filled, sticky sweet, battered shrimp, you may want to go to Panda Express. If you want fresh, authentic, Chinese, check this place out! The owner is very kind and hospitable. 5 stars!“

“The best meal I’ve had In charlotte in years. Order an A1. Don’t worry about what’s in it. It’s amazing.“

“I am usually VERY suspicious of super large takeout portions, mostly because you question the actual quality of the ingredients.
I cannot say that this is the case for A & C, I feel as though the price accurately corresponds with what you get. If I remember correctly I got a massive serving of pork fried rice and a order of sesame chicken for around $20.
The pork fried rice filled a clamshell takeout container. The fried rice was packed full of quality cuts of meat, eggs, and vegetables. I certainly will be getting this again sometime soon.
The sesame chicken was not what I was expecting, but it too was delicious. They serve it how many other Chinese places serve sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken tenders with the sauce on the side. As someone that has had plenty of chicken of the like, I can say with confidence that this is definitely top tier.
I often check restaurants health inspection ratings before going, and I found that A & C has consistently scored right around 95+ for several years, you cannot get much more hygienic than that.
Do not let the location of this fine establishment turn you off, it is (in my opinion) one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Charlotte!
Parking: They have their own parking lot, super easy to get in and out of.“

“i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

“The food here is really good for the most part. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the egg rolls are never cooked properly. They’re not crispy on the outside, ever, the outside is rubbery and chewy. I believe to be a very basic staple item that all Chinese restaurants should get right. Other than that, everything was great.“

“Got the shrimp fried rice. You can definitely taste the MSG. This rice was good but the shrimp tasted bland. Very small sitting area but the waitress was very friendly. You can tell it is a local favorite and has plenty of regular customers.“

“I love this place! When I am working out this way I always order pickup from here. The gentleman who answers the phone is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to when ordering food. He is just as nice in person as well. I love the sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the chicken lo mein. Egg rolls are great also.“

“This food is some gas!! For real!! I have tried a lot of the Asian spots locally, like Osaka and Hop Feing. This is so much better. Better quality food, cooked to satisfaction, noodles better, rice better and good portions of meat. It’s in a little hidden spot off of Independence, but great prices for great food. 10/10 would recommend ??????“

“This is the first spot to have food that tastes like home to me. The flavors taste fresh and not overpowering. I returned a few days/ week later to enjoy more. I do wish they took cards bc it's cash only. There is an atm nearby- our food came within the said time. The shrimp lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick and shrimp egg foo young are perfection. Shrimp rolls just as delicious. I didn't care for the white rice or brown sauce for the egg foo young- it has a word unfamiliar taste and unlike most places with a darker brown sauce.“

“Best pork fried rice in charlotte! Based on some reviews, if you are not satisfied, he is willing to make it right or give a refund. Try getting a refund at another Chinese restaurant and you would think you were in the wrong. Great fried rice! Lets boost them eggrolls. ❤️“

“Went for the 4.7 rating. I wasn't that impressed, and neither was my sister. I ordered General Tso, which was nothing special that stood out. It was fresh and crispy at least, but the sauce tasted more like a honey sauce with no spicy kick at all. I like my crab rangoons, sweet, but these were way too sweet. Almost like candy. The crab rangoons could be a dessert. I threw away that sweet red dipping sauce after I tried one plain because I was not trying to get diabetes. The chicken wings were smaller than expected. They were also super salty. I needed a drink after the 3 of the 6 tiny wings. The shrimp was smaller than average. Not the tiny salad shrimp, but maybe one size bigger. My sisyer said the steak was a bit over-cooked. Extra sauce is $1. The drinks are cans. There are a few tables to sit and dine in. 1 shared bathroom for men and women, which was essentially well clean.“

“Went with a group of friends. A huge buffet of American and Asian dishes. All of the food was fresh and hot or cold as needed. Good service that got our drinks and cleared dishes as we finished. Selection was great you'd be hard pressed to not find something you liked. Our group enjoyed the food. Seating was cafeteria style. We did not try out the cooked to order but they have a section where you select the ingredients and they are cooked fresh for you. Also no MSG so it doesn't go right through you!! Try it out. Enjoy!“

“The food is nice and hot. The staff is attentive to putting fresh food out on display. It wasn't crowded. It's not a bad spot for a Friday lunch service. Keep in mind the time you come and the location of this establishment. You may run into some heavy-duty traffic ...“

“When I went to UNCC in 2005-2008, this place was my go-to place to eat. I would eat here 2-3 times a week. I graduated and moved away, but after 16 years, finally had a chance to try it out again. The egg roles seem to have changed, but that aside, it’s exactly how I remember it. I love the Sha Cha Chicken. I’ve only ever been to one other Chinese restaurant that has this dish, but nothing comes close to the bold flavors and hearty sauce that House of Leng’s version has. If you like bold flavors and a bit of kick, give their Sha-Cha Chicken a try. The staff were wonderful and attentive too.“

“Ho Ho is my partner and I’s go to spot for Chinese food in Charlotte. It’s nice that we are able to order all vegetarian; we usually get the spring rolls, fried rice, crab rangoon, and sesame tofu. The food is always very tasty, and it’s a pretty good bang for your buck. Also, the woman who hands us our food when we pick up always brightens our day, she’s very polite and always seems happy to see us.“
