After a few loops, we secured a spot close to the entrance, identifiable by the distinctive wall plate.Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the attendant at the booth who promptly escorted us inside. Within moments, we were welcomed by the hostess and led to our reserved table. I had made the reservation through Resy for 7:30 pm, and I overheard the attendant informing walk-in guests that the next available seating was at 10:30 pm.We decided to start our evening by sharing a cheese plate, which featured local cheeses accompanied by four crisp crostinis. For drinks, I opted for the Thai Pepper Paloma, a bold tequila-based concoction with a spicy kick. It was a unique blend that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was informed by the server that it is not made with freshly brewed espresso. it was very sweet and more of a dessert drink. All of the drinks were way too sweet in my opinion. Even purchasing the drink mixes and charcuterie boards during the shut-down to help the establishment and employees. This place has defiantly changed towards the ($$$$) Inner Circle group (as mentioned in one other review), of which we are not. just regular folk who enjoy splurging on good food, great atmosphere, and good people to hang out around, once in a while. Have decided to start exploring other restaurants and bars in and around Charlotte for the next ($$$) hidden gem without the inner circle priority. Wish you all the best with your future!
