Stayed overnight in uptown Charlotte and had breakfast here. This is a small mom/pop type cafe in the lower level of the Wells Fargo building. They have breakfast sandwiches, omelets, coffee etc. Our breakfast was prepared fresh and staff were so nice. Everything about it was great. Will go back when in the area again. Highly recommend.

Halfpenny's is a neat little café/deli located on the lower level of the Wells Fargo Center building. They have a variety of options to choose from for breakfast or lunch items. They also have dessert options as well. Likely, many employees that work in uptown businesses have visited Halfpenny's and it was a hit. Wonderful little place. We stopped in for a nice breakfast. We had breakfast croissant sandwiches, grits with cheese and some delicious coffee. The lady at the counter was super attentive. Seating is nicely spaced out for social distancing.
