Very messed up place. Some freak was standing be hind my girlfriend the whole time we where there. Staring at my girlfriend. The bartenders noticed it but did nothing. Out of respect for the bar we left. When we got home I called told the manager the situation he blew it of like who cares. And hung up on me. DO NOT Go to this place if you have a girl with you.

Six or seven waitresses, not one, in twenty minutes spoke to me or asked what I wanted as I stood at the front desk.They literally conversed with each other and walked back and forth as if I and other customers were not there.

We were told to seat ourselves. A couple came in after us, were seated, their order taken and served before us. Our server seemed more interested in wrap utensils. This was our second visit and we won't be in a hurry to return. Our first visit, the service was great and the food was very good..

We were in Hickory Tavern on Sunday March 10 around 730pm. We ordered drinks then we placed our order for dinner which consisted of I had a salad and my boyfriend had the power bowl with blackened tuna. When our meal was served we opened our rolled silverware to find dried food on our forks. We were immediately disgusted and lost our appetite. The waiter was very apologetic and replaced out utensils. As the manager of the establishment you should have come out as well and apologized. My boyfriend sent an email regarding this event but a manager never answered in any type of correspondence. He works in the food industry and I work in management and this is very unacceptable . We will not be returning to your restaurant due to this matter and will not recommend to anyone as well.

Met a friend out there because we were trying to find a middle ground between locations. I thought of this place because they used to have the best oysters (which I found out they no longer serve when I got there) so I was disappointed and the appetizers did not boost the morale smh. I ordered the pow pow shrimp which is basically a much greasier congealed version of bang bang shrimp from more reputable restaurants. My friend had the spinach dip which was HORRIBLE. Again super greasy, wayyyy too much garlic and correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't it be creamy?? I gave 3 stars because the bartender was pleasant and the drinks were good. Maybe entrées are better but the appetizers were trash. JS. Unfortunately no photos this time.. soŕry

Great lunch spot! The seared Ahi Tuna was delicious & the portion was perfect for a light lunch! Only drawback? It was cold in the restaurant!Our waitress, Noel, was great! She knew the menu & was able to recommend dishes for us! Great job!
