GOT SICK ?? Ordered a steak burrito and tacos. well first burrito had a bunch of lettuce more that half of the contents inside was lettuce and barely any meat or beans or rice. About 20 min after i was in the bathroom throwing up ? maybe cross contamination or something same as my sister and she had the steak tacos she was also throwing up ? and with headache after all this with in 20-30 min after eating the food we took over the two bathrooms just puking our guts out. Fries were good overall though very very bad experience don’t recommend honestly

Initially I ordered two quesabirria meals through post mates for pick up. When we got there we were told the order was cancelled which was a huge bummer and I wish someone notified us ahead of time. What confuses me is that he said we can get the tacos but they dont have the consommé for it but I thought the consommé is the broth from when the meat was cooking. Will likely come back to try them. I suggest ordering take out when you get there if you prefer to eat at home. There is more on the menu in the restaurant than on post mates. I went with asada quesadilla with salsa verde and its good. What is really blowing me away though is the salsa verde, it is probably the best I've had. I also dont typically see fries as a side but they are really good. They are the breaded kind which are my favorite and they have a nice crunch to them. My boyfriend said that his salsa is very good too but that the ACP isn't better than the average. Im really wishing I got tacos because I feel like I cant judge this place without getting tacos first. I did enjoy my food and I will be returning but for now I'm giving 3.5 stars because they did not contact us regarding the cancelled order and we likely would have gone elsewhere had we known and tried this place out a different time. There is nothing wrong with a language barrier but you may want to pull out google translate if you cant understand spanish or communicate it.

First time coming to this place. Online says they close at 11pm. I arrive at 7:42 pm lights are on, open sign turned on and someone was at the front desk. I tried to walk in to order the door was locked. The lady is signaling to me, thought she was saying push or try the other door. I tried both still didn't open. Then she starts signaling again with her hands. I guess it meant they were closed. If you are closed turn off the OPEN sign. The lady at the front could of came to the door as a courtesy to explain they were closed early today instead of just standing there behind the desk using her hands to talk.

They have good tacos there but they are small I usually eat 3 I ordered 4 and I could've ate 5 honestly also the salsas were spicy !?and that was just the best thing.The menu is kid friendly they have tenders and fries which was great !The inside is small so there Is like 3 tables butThe lady there was really nice and made sure to get our drinks to us and ask if we needed anything. We will definitely be back to eat here if we are ever in charlotte again.

This is NOT a taqueria and not Mexican food. I honestly feel like I was scammed.Naming aside, the food is just not good. When it comes to rice and beans, salsa, or anything else that should be house-made, you had better bring your A game. They do not.SMH...Rice and beans. SMH soooo soooo bad, so easy, but so bad. I'd rather microwave both items from a grocery store. Ducal ftw. More flavor and better product.The signature "Machete Taco" was overly cornflour flavored, dry, bland, and soggy up and down. SMH soooo soooo bad.The enchiladas were not enchiladas. I'd trade 20 of these, for a real Mexican one. SMH soooo soooo bad. No amount of salsa can save this food.

This is low-key, one of my favorite little spots to eat. I always forget to take a picture before I eat but I love the food here.I've had the arroz con pollo, the steak burrito, chicken burrito, the cheesteak, the quesedilla, Buffalo wings, fried chicken sandwich, and their burgers. I've also had the Cubana torta. And they have the tall glass bottled cokes which are the best ones. It goes good with anything you order.Everything is made fresh to order which is always a plus. Like I said this is low key one of my favorite restaurants to from here in charlotte!! They have one of the better fried chicken sandwiches and burgers in this area in my humble opinion too. They are both big AF. Their arroz con pollo is excellent!! They don't always have it but if you can catch them when they do, your in for a treat. The rice is perfect and fluffy. The quesadilla and burritos are huge with generous portions of whatever meat you choose. There's maybe four or five different options for meats. Their cheesesteak tasted like they chopped up a piece of real steak to make the sandwich. And their buffalo wings taste like they use homemade buffalo sauce, not that cheap bottled sauce. Also the Cubano torta is HUGE!! big enough to eat at least twice. That's one of my favorites. The burritos, quesadillas, burgers and sandwiches all come with fries. The torta does not come with any sides, but you won't need anything else with that one. It's a beast!!Down side, you probably will want to order take out as there is really not a lot of dining room at all, but the food is worth it. It's especially perfect for me since I live close to the area. The parking is also kind of tight, but it's next to a laundromat with a decent sized parking lot so it works for the 10-15 minutes you may be there.Overall I would give this 5 stars as a quick take out eatery..????????????????I did manage to take a picture of my steak burrito before I ate it this time.. I will add more pictures in the future

If you enjoy good food then you gotta come here. My Taurus boyfriend put me on to Taqueria Madina today Friday September 1st. He said they are consistent with taste and service. And I must say, this place is a hidden Gem, baby! Today I tried the chicken quesadilla and fries, Buffalo wings and fries with a side of Mexican rice. My drink was a old school glass bottle of Coca-Cola. Man I was pleased with everything. My food was fresh and delicious! My drink was cold and refreshing. These Buffalo wings taste so good like the 90's wings used to be, perfect size and everything. My Taurus and I try many places for great food and I will be coming back to try other options. Thanks for your great customer service and taking care of my family today! It's a MUST TRY YALL. BTW it's a clean place, sanitation is an "A". Let me tell you something, Taqueria Medinassss!!!!! Reminds me of taqueria Los Cucuyos in Mexico City, with a hint of Tijuana tacos. Every time I order out or in the place never fails me! The carne tacos are everything!!! All their food really is just great. We need to support these local businesses, but especially Taqueria Medinas. There service is always amazing, the restaurant is always clean and everything fresh! I love restaurants that treat take out just as important as the dine in. 10 stars for me always!! VIVA MEXICO EL REY!!!!
