Our server was AWESOME! Appetizers were really good; steak was mediocre at best. Supposedly there is a dress code for an upscale restaurant, but not here. Somewhat disappointing for spending the $ we paid.

Lex was our server and he's so very nice, friendly and knows the menu perfectly. Colby was our valet and so prompt and courteous. We will return to this very fine restaurant!!

The chicken parmesan was crispy and the sauce had a lot of flavor. The crab cake, thick cut bacon, and prosciutto appetizers were a great way to warm up our appetites. The wine paired well with the steak and the pasta. Our server was extremely helpful. The tiramisu with a glass of McCallan 18yr was divine.

The 12 oz filet split was a perfect portion. We paired it with the risotto. The crab cake appetizer was delicious.

What a wonderful surprise! We used to go to the farm in Chicago on E. Lake Shore Dr. here's ago and I always really enjoyed the food and service. Some of the newer Palm restaurants like the atmosphere and collegial connection to his customers that the older restaurants have Charlotte has both! Everything was absolutely great and we felt right at home. Er shall back soon.

There are so many good restaurants in southpark that this one is sort of a hidden gem. I made a reservation through opentable the morning of our dinner. We called to let them know we would be about 30 minutes late and they still held our reservation for us. It was a busy Friday night, but valet and the hostess were courteous and accommodating. Our server was Mohammed. They had a full wine list. My husband ordered a bottle of the Malbec and we started with the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was cooked in a spicy sauce that complimented it really well. Our entrees were the NY strip and center-cut filet (w/ blue cheese crust). Sides were the Mac and cheese and green beans. The Mac had bacon in it and the green beans had pancetta pieces in it. All the food was decadent. We were so full and had a great time. I definitely will return to try the other dishes.

The food was good but not great. Overpriced for what it was. There are better option in the area. Clean, good service.

Joey is THE MAN!!!! Unbelievable service..... and request Tony. The best in Charlotte. And a shout out to Mishka (Tyson's Corner - VA) for being a ROCKSTAR!!! I love these locations so much.

Have been going to the Palm restaurants for over 45 years. Last month visited the Charlotte location and was extremely disappointed. The lobster was reheated from the previous day and the tail meat was just mush. Never knew the lobsters were not freshly cooked to order. The dessert was a very large portion of old tiramisu. Although almost empty at the time we were seated near the cash register and kitchen entrance. Overall very disappointing and not worth the money. Sadly this special event we were celebrating was tarnished by the dining experience.

So, it has been a while since I have eaten here, and now I remember why. For the price point of this place, the food just wasn't that great. For one thing it took about an hour for us to get our food and when it finally came, EVERYTHING came out cold like it was sitting for a while, which took us by surprise since it was not that busy. That said, our server was great, but that was about the only thing at this point. It will most likely be a long time before I come back here as there are simply too many steak house options in Charlotte for the food to come out like that.

Returned to an old faithful spot last night. Same rock star service. Same classic vibe. Same delicious dishes and a few new ones. Pics below aren't great but the food was. I'm still stuffed. Our waitress Amber was on point and our sweet waiter from Belarus regaled us with tales of his experiences to and in the U.S. while cracking lobster tail. So succulent...and that drawn butter tho! *drool* The meatball was impossibly fork tender and flavorful. Loved the big juicy piece of crab in the crab cake. No fooling around here. You won't miss the garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes either! It's just such a delightful, elegant place for solid upscale food. There's a reason it's been around so long. Top the meal off with the cheesecake if you have any room left. Determined to get my face on the wall one day.

Came into town and had to find a place to have dinner with a special person in my life. Searched and searched until I ended up choosing The Palm, best choice ever. From getting out the car with complimentary valet to leaving with info on the history of The Palm from a wonderful server. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING...period!

I took my wife to the Palm for our anniversary. The food was excellent. My wife had the Seabass, which was tender, fresh, and well prepared. I had the Bolognese, which was very excellent. It was a large portion, and I probably shouldn't have finished the whole thing. We were served by Mo who was precise, communicated extremely well, very friendly, and attentive. He made the evening extra special. We will be back.

Our server Haziz(sp) was great, but all the food came out cold. My steak was overcooked, but my wife's was fine. So there is definitely some inconsistent practices in how they cook their meat.
