Sadly, the Italian beef sandwich wasn't for me. The meat wasn't good and had that film on it that old sandwich meat has.

Sadly, the Italian beef sandwich wasn't for me. The meat wasn't good and had that film on it that old sandwich meat has. Update: I am extremely disappointed in the response from management claiming that I am not a "real" customer. A "real" manager would acknowledge my experience and have better customer service. See photo for proof of purchase.

I suppose if you've never been to Chicago, you might find it ok.

I felt like I was a tourist in Chicago while eating this sandwich. The sandwich was full of Italian beef and tasted awesome. I would highly recommend this spot for authentic Chicago style Italian beef. This gem is located in one of Charlotte's many food kitchens for small business restaurants so its strictly take out. But you won't be disappointed.

For anybody from Chicagoland, Wrigley's Italian Beef is an absolute hidden gem! Their Italian Beef sandwich is legit and it's as close to the original Al's #1 as you can get outside of Chicago. I wish they could open up a kitchen location down in the Waxhaw area. It would be a home run!

I had a craving for an Italian beef but I honestly didn't think we had any good spots in Charlotte other than a couple that I think have since gone. I ordered via Uber Eats so I don't really care if it is a ghost kitchen or not. The food was very good. I ordered 'The Beef' (with giardiniera) with tater tots. I had seen a review on here about how the tots were so good. When I opened the bag I thought "these are the same tots everyone has, what was that person thinking?" But then when you actually eat them they are a little different and better than you're average tot. I'm not sure what makes them different but they're really good. The sandwich itself is huge. I can eat a lot and I saved half of mine. $13 for a massive sandwich you get 2 meals out of and tots is a solid deal, in my opinion. It had a ton of meat (I do wish there was a little more giardiniera) and was dipped so it had good moisture. I do wish also that it came with a cup of the jus so you could dip again if you want but it was juicy enough as is. The biggest standout for me with this sandwich is the bread. I'm not sure if the flavor comes from the dipping in the jus or if there's something special about those Chicago rolls but it has so much flavor and is so soft. Really enjoyed that. Overall, especially if you're having takeout or delivery, your money will be well-spent here.

Great Chicago style beef and sausages from a ghost kitchen location. Good sized portion on the beef and understood directions of not dipping the beef

This sandwich was seasoned to perfection, My first time having an italian beef and it also had a nice spice to it from the peppers! I also got sweet peppers with it.

COUSIN!! THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! Had not heard of the Italian Beef sandwich before watching The Bear. A recent segment on Sunday Morning on the sandwich and the show inspired me to do a google search of Italian Beef's in CLT which led me here. Full disclaimer is that this was my first IBS so I cannot attest to its authenticity as compared to those made in Chicago. What I can say without equivocation is that Wrigley's version is AMAZING!! It is absolutely stuffed with well seasoned beef with the peppers on top. Wrigley's is located in a ghost kitchen and I will admit to being concerned with how the sandwich would travel given the legendary juice from the beef. Far from being a soggy mess, the bread held up very well during the 30 minute journey home. We ordered extra sauce on the side which was perfect. It's a simple sandwich but they really have perfected it. The tots were great too. We also ordered a Polish sausage sandwich. Absolutely fabulous as well. Wrigley's will now be on our go to order out list. Our experience last night deserves more than 5 stars!!

Another food not-establishment from the worlds oddest kitchen complex on West Summit in Charlotte It's where the food delivery drivers get a lot of the food ordered on-line from. There's no service per se, but they'll get your order out in minutes. There are picnic tables around back in a fenced in courtyard The Italian Beef Sandwich was good, it needed some "gravy" to dip it in. The flavor was good and they do add in a small cup of gardinera. Their Tator Tots are excellent.
