My friend and I decided to meet up after work for a bite to eat and some drinks, so we chose Zapatas, a Mexican restaurant not far from my office in the university area. We arrived around 4 PM, and since it wasn't too busy, we were seated quickly. The service was great from the start. Was in town for a conference and decided to walk here. Cute authentic Mexican spot with large portions. The drinks could have been a little stronger but overall I had a pleasurable time and definetly enjoyed my food and service.

Me and my husband come here sometimes. The food is pretty good, I've never had a bad time or experience. They are a little slow and the service is bad but that adds to the lore me and my husband have for this place. we didn't even know the name cause we just called it "bad service" If you don't mind mediocre service for amazing food.
