“Stopped in at Mannings while visiting friends in Clayton. The food was absolutely delicious! From the moment we walked in everyone was so very nice and pleasant. They chatted with us as if we were old friends. I had the Shrimp and Grits...highly recommend. My friends enjoyed their Gumbo and soup.“

“Went outside to say away from distracted others with there phones and noisy and rude kids .. listen to the birds . What a shame . Don't know how to handle ur heathens in public while enjoying mother nature . Teach ur kids manners and respect. Not cursing . Loud rude. Kids were talking like adults from ages 3 to about 14 .the mouth !! My own kids don't cuss in front of me called respect .. what makes you think I want hear ur foul kids mouth ?!!“

“This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed! My book club met here and there was plenty of space for us to mingle. I'm not a craft beer drinker but I did sample their seltzers, which were all good, and I ended up doing a half and half with their limoncello and sour cherry (at the suggestion of the bartender). It was delicious! I'll definitely go back.“

“We have been going to the Clayton Steakhouse for years. The food is always excellent! The desserts are wonderful. The service is always friendly, professional and attentive. We went on 5/16/24 for our anniversary. We had not been in awhile. When we arrived, we were taken by surprise by the remodeling. The Steakhouse has always been a rustic and the ambiance very nice. But with this new all white paint and taking out the wall that separated the Steakhouse into one area being a little more quiet than the front was odd. Last night that ambiance was gone. It was too bright and had the feel of a diner. Although the food was excellent the whole experience was off. I truly hope the owners will try and see the Steakhouse through the patrons eyes and make some experience changes and take it back to that relaxed, not diner experience but not too fancy feel. I hope the owners understand that patrons are looking for a place that offers not only excellent food and service but an experience.“

“This place truly is a gem. Went here today for lunch. The waitress(Amber, I think) was truly fantastic. Ordered the shrimp basket for our app. So flipping good. The husband had the bourbon burger, and my son and I both got the grilled Mahi tacos one with house made chips and other with onion rings . OH MY GOODNESS SO GOOD. We will be back. They are doing it right at this place, and I am happy to say I've been here. It's more than worth the try.“

“100% Sanitation grade. Food is always good and authentic Cantonese menu. Not your regular Chinese take out. Best hot sour soup ever. So good Authentic beef brisket noodle soup. Spacious interior and attentive employees. The prices though have gone up several times over the last two years. Servings are generous.“

“This is a good place to grab a burger and brew or a good pizza. The building is small and seating is a bit cramped, but there always seems to be a line of patrons waiting to be seated. We've had a good experience here, plus they've expanded to outside seating as well. Worth a shot, especially on weekdays when it's not so busy. Parking can be tough at times. Weekends you'll likely be waiting some time for seating. Prices are reasonable and service is good!!!“

“I can't really say how the atmosphere here is since I've only done delivery with them. I order the 6pcs kids meal and a 6in chicken philly sub. I kind of wish they added a little more chicken to the sub but overall it was excellent. Delivery was quick. Not even 30 mins after I order my food was dropped off. What got me to try them was my looking for a meal that wasn't pizza and I didn't have to use a food app to order it. Knowing that I have the option for cash or card payments is even better. Yes they do have a delivering fee I didn't ask I just know it was cheaper then those other places.“

“I’m not writing this to be a bad review but I think my experience was really funny. I went in and got two sushi rolls one of which I asked for cucumber to be added. After getting home and opening my container I realized that there had been a miscommunications. Instead of having a regular sushi roll with cucumber added, I received eel and shrimp wrapped in cucumber (no rice or seaweed ). I ate it anyway and it was actually good but definitely not what I thought I ordered. Thought I’d share because I thought the whole situation was funny.“

“We really enjoy going here, the prices are reasonable and food is good. It helps that we live only 10 minutes away...lol. But seriously, you get good portions of food for your money. My wife enjoys the pineapple margaritas! Full bar too, if you're looking for your fav drink! Definitely worth stopping in for lunch or dinner! “Before moving to NC, I’d come to visit and this was my favorite restaurant. The love the menu, the service is absolutely incredible, and I just love the vibes. I LOVE the food. I am not a burger fan, but I will order them from here. The quality of the food is fantastic as well. You will NEVER leave disappointed…I promise.
