“Yes, yes and yes! This impromptu dinner did it for me. We were able to walk right in and asked for outside seating. The weather was perfect with a tad bit of rain in the air. Since it was our first time we decided to try a bunch of smaller ideas. My husband ordered the wings, and I went from the grilled romaine and pimento cheese dip. Both were top tier. He enjoyed the smoked wings and end up returning the crispy wings. We later found out the wings were made with rice flour. That made them resemble Tyson wings . However the smoked wings were great and he ordered a second order of those (6) in an order. I definitely would recommend this place to watch foot traffic, enjoy some fresh air & some fun creative dishes. Would I be back? Yep! But next time I'm not sharing my pimento cheese“
“Vinsons is one of my husbands & I’d favorite spots to eat! Whether it is a buffalo chicken sandwich or cheese curds we are always impressed. If you’re going to stop by for a meal, Gracie is the waitress to ask for. From the couple opportunities we have been fortunate to have her, she has gone above & beyond to make sure we enjoy our time & offer any recommendations.“
“Straight outta PHILLY and we really enjoyed our lunch!I had the mushroom steak Philly and my son, had the chicken Philly. Both were equally great! The fries with their special seasoning (which can be purchased) and the side of antipasto salad were delicious!“
“My daughter and I started having weekly visits to Nancy Jo's after our library time. Absolutely one of the best, friendliest, establishments in DT Clayton. My daughter loves their grilled cheese and their cakes!! I love having a place where we can go enjoy lunch for an amazing cost and have a beautiful welcome when we come in.“
“Really I'd give it an overall 3.5 but the food and service is always a 4. I don't go here much but whatever I order is always really good. I took my kids here the other day and they loved it. My son got a cheeseburger and it was huge. I was surprised he ate it all, to be honest. They're generous with their french fry portions as well. I usually get the falafel, which is always good, but sometimes I'll do a veggie or kebab platter. You really can't go wrong.“
“Wife and I moved to North Carolina nearly four years ago. Not long after we discovered Smithfield's. While not a big fast food guy I must admit I'm quite impressed by this chain. For fast food their food quality is quite high, along with quality side selections. Their service is second only to Chick-fil-A's and it's a very close second. Good food value, pleasant and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and the best fast food dining in atmosphere. It's my impression that thier customers are passionate and loyal and help to create a pleasant dining experience. Stop here before any other fast food restaurants if looking to have a quick eat out or carryout. Very family friendly.“
“The ambience is welcoming and local friendly. The food is consistently delicious and the menu is varied. Good place for a casual lunch or business mtg. Dinner is relaxing and unrushed, the service is not in your face but staff easily anticipates the flow. Nice wine list and full bar.“
“I heard a few people talk about this spot. Being the only breakfast type restaurant in the Clayton area. I fi nal got around to trying it out. Course the place was pretty busy, but they will text you when your table is ready. I expected the place to be similar to an Ihop, which it was, with their unique items. Like mimosas...was really surprised by that. Overall, I had a good experience, and I will try some other options next time.“
“I decided to venture out for dinner. The restaurant was clean and decently lit. I ordered the fresh catch of the day. The entree was Cajun filet Red Snapper, shrimp, mash potatoes and zucchini and spinach. This entree was everything and all things deliciousness in every bite. I wanted to savor this taste, so I took my leftovers home. The service was great. I look forward to coming back again.“
