My wife and I recently signed up for CrossFit. We locked into a 1 year contract. After a policy change with my job I would no longer be able to frequent the gym as much. I'm a truck driver and I wouldn't be able to stay local anymore. Even though I couldn't make it my wife wanted to keep her membership going though. This was only two weeks after signing up. She called and talked to Josh and he told her he was not able to alter the contract at all. Just from that experience alone I wouldn't suggest anyone sign-up. They have to know and recognize that things will happen in life. I plan to follow up my complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my local Attorney Generals Office. This isn't cheap I'm having $275 draft out my account every month.

I was looking for a deep water arobics program. We just moved her and I had been involved in a tremendous deep water program. I was sold a bill of goods that was totally untrue. The teacher is in the pool in the shallow end. Can't see what anyone is doing as she is exercising as well. If you are in the deep end you can't hear and she will tell you to ask your neighbor. Which I did but she said she didn't know and told me to just move. The exercises are on a board but who knows what they mean as they are terms from boot camp adapted to water aerobics. I went to one of the owners, explaining this was a waste of my time, not trully deep water aerobics. I can't see the teacher and what she is doing as she is in the pool. She can't see what we are doing. Sadly, they will not work with you. You are locked in for the year. So I signed up in July 2022, and called in June 23, spoke to Jason who agreed that I would not get charged in July as 12 months is up in June. I checked my bank account and they took out the 49. charge plus a 25. yearly fee in July. So basically Jason lied to me. If you are looking for a deep water aerobics program this is not the place!!!

Absolutely fantastic facility. My experience was amazing from the time that I walked in the facility. The staff at the desk was helpful and professional. The facility was extremely clean and it was obvious why, there seemed to always be a member of the staff cleaning and disinfecting during my visits. I did not notice and broken equipment which also speaks to the reason for my rating.

Best gym in Concord/Charlotte! The Sportscenter is a family. You feel at home there and the amenities are amazing. Super clean and well kept. Josh Burchfield is awesome and has been so helpful throughout the years. I did their CrossFit program for a while and was super impressed as well. Over all 10/10 spot! ***also great price!

This is the most incredible gym I've ever been apart of. The staff is hands down amazing, genuine, thoughtful, professional but also make you feel like apart of the family. The daycare staff is so good with kids, I feel so comfortable leaving my kids with them and love that I can peek in on them anytime I want. Every machine WORKS and if one goes down they immediately go to work on repairing it. The GM walks around everyday sanitizing and wiping down machines, there are sanitizers and cleaner everywhere. They have very up to date machines, a great smoothie/snack/coffee bar, great indoor and outdoor pools, they have something for everyone. Very reasonable pricing! There is not one thing I wish they would change or offer different. I am so glad we joined here!

While they offer a lot of amenities, they need to work on their membership program and computer system. My SO got a membership there, was told that it was only month to month and he could cancel anytime. When he cancelled either the last week of August or the first few days in September, we thought it was finalized. Well, September 11th, we were hit with a membership charge. When I contacted them and said the membership was cancelled prior to being hit with the charge, they said they couldn't issue a refund. Luckily, my bank was on my side. In November, they attempted multiple charges to our card. It didn't go through because I had a feeling something like this would happen, so I put a hold on the card so it couldn't be used. Today, we received a paper bill from them. My SO hasn't used the facility since early August, and again CANCELLED his membership. It's 2019, there is zero valid excuse why they couldn't issue a refund in September, and why they can't seem to cancel a membership upon request. Hell, I can issue refunds and cancel orders in a matter of minutes. We have the technology....

I was looking for a gym that had a little bit of everything. At first impression, walking into the doors, it felt like a country club. I was shown around and was happy and excited to join this gym. There is a joining fee and then you are locked into a monthly fee for a year. After a year it becomes month to month. The cons: So as I started using the facility, I was completely grossed out. Not a lot of people wipe down their equipment after using it. When I wiped down what I used, the white wet towel turned brown. It was so gross. It's obvious that the employees don't wipe the equipment down from top to bottom either. The cardio equipment is rusty from the sweat and you can also see all the sweat marks, dirt and hair from other people. Disgusting. I've also noticed that at the smoothie bar, anyone goes behind it and grabs what they want. Seems to me to be unsanitary. I also don't see a sanitation rating posted. There is a daycare inside. I wish more people used it. You cant have a great workout while a middle school or younger child plays on the equipment next to you. Or you can find them horsing around. I believe they only watch kids that are 9 and younger. The rest are running around. Would be great if the parents would keep a check on them. The pool is a nice touch. I wish you could find the pins that hold the umbrellas open to use them. Overall, I'm not impressed. I'm stuck in a contract for a year. I prefer to be at a clean gym. The extra money you pay to be here does not do the place justice. The employees only care to wash the towels that are offered. They seem to clean the racquet ball courts more than anything. It doesn't seem like there is a cleaning schedule for this entire building. It's disgusting. Occasionally you will see an employee wiping down equipment. I've only seen them wipe down where your hands go. Completely pointless. The entire equipment needs to be cleaned. Oh, and I've been looking at the same poop/blood stain on the floor and wall in the bathroom on the second floor. The positive: They do have the company 212 meal prep inside. This is a company that prepares food for you to pick up at this location. They offer several different fitness classes throughout the day. Front desk staff is friendly.

Performance Raquet Sports is amazing for those wishing to be the best they can in tennis as well as those just looking for some fun and exercise. Rena has been working with my daughter since 5 years old and the results are astounding on and off the court. Rena has instilled a passion and love of the game and is a role model to my daughter and many of the players. They make it fun to work hard and improve and compete and support the players in a very positive environment. Her and Mark attend a lot of the events and work on things from there. The players support each other and their camraderie and results are a great reflection on the club. highly recommended and obvious why folks come from all over to train with them. keep up the great work!

I used to be a member of this gym before I had my son a year ago. I have just returned and they welcomed me and my children back with open arms. Not to mention the great daycare facility & THE UPGRADES! This is probably one of the ONLY gyms were I can actually see my fees being used to make the place better every year! Staff is awesome & I'm so happy to be back. Sportscenter is a great gym home if you need a place where you're options aren't limited, indoor and outdoor!

Great place to work out, swim (indoor OR outdoor), play basketball, tennis or even get a massage! Staff is very friendly and plenty of cardio and weights for everyone! Definitely an A+ experience!
